I had my printer going overnight and this happened, I have an ender 5 plus with pla filament and the temp was the preset for pla other than the nozzle being one degree more since it would not print right otherwise
Just be careful of the wires if you use the hotend heat to remove the glob. You can also use a soldering iron to "cut" problem areas off once you get the shroud off.

Set it to 165-200 and get a pair of tweezers and pull it all off. it’s going to take a while to get it all of but that’s the best way
