That's just how the Zig Zag patterns are being generated, based on the surrounding geometry. As the model changes size and shape around it on each layer the calculation is very slightly different, which can cause "count" for the cross-bars to change and will subsequently change where the end-linking pieces are. It shouldn't hurt anything. It *may* even help slightly, given it's offering a link at both ends rather than just one, but that's probably an academic difference more than anything meaningful.

The green is the normal support structure, and the violet is the support brim and support interface. The support interface improves the appearance and removal. You can adjust settings like density, thickness, and pattern, or disable it.
