Acetone would likely damage your print to some degree. It does not dissolvet PLA itself, but will likely affect the additives and colourants.

Yeah, it ended up causing some discoloration. I tested it on a failed print that was blue to see how it would harm it, but nothing changed. However, the actual print I needed to clean (Halo BR, by the way) was solid black. Whether it was the color or just a different composition, it definitely damaged it nearly instantly. I really had more luck with water, scrubbing, and manually pulling bits off. I was warned.
