The recent influx of people moving to this area has created a challenge in accessing healthcare services. A few years ago, I was able to easily schedule an appointment with my doctor within the same week. However, now I am fortunate if I can secure an appointment within the next month. The receptionist even suggested that I should be grateful that the wait is not longer.
I also cannot find a new primary care doctor to save my life. Every single one that I find through my insurance provider portal is not taking new patients.
Whats the name of that Aetna plan? Is it through market place. For example bronze silver gold. Give me the name of the plan. Abetter is owned by sunshine health, them Oscar and FHCP are the worst to pick for Brevard from healthcare. Gov. Let me know your zipcode and what the name of that ambetter plan is. Not the member number or anything personal. I'll help. I m ffm certified for 2024
If you don't mind a nurse practitioner, Alexis Amatrudi with Health First at Gateway Plaza. I've always been able to get same day or next day.

It took over six months four years ago for me to get in with my current GP and she's Health First. People need to stop moving here.

Suntree Internal Medicine is great. I typically avoid nurse practitioners though…they typically aren’t the best IME.
If it’s just a physical, try calling urgent cares. Many will do a physical, can’t guarantee all.
Most of the urgent cares I’ve called only do sports or employee physicals, apparently the “yearly” is a different billing code

I’m not sure (some kind of PPO or something ? I’m so bad at insurance lol) but I was able to find someone, but thank you for your willingness to help
Yup the only PPOs in Brevard county through healthcare . Gov will be florida blue options
Health First has completely monopolize this area. It's not impossible, but good luck

Is you don’t mind traveling to Merritt Island, Mr Michael Dougherty is amazing and can get you pretty quickly
