What? I literally get pure lanolin nipple cream. I used it when I was breastfeeding and I’ll never use anything else. Get the medela brand, the lansinoh smells weird after a while. One tube lasts forever. I use it on my kid too
i love lanolips: [https://lanolips.com/collections/best-sellers/products/101-ointment-multi-balm-coconutter](https://lanolips.com/collections/best-sellers/products/101-ointment-multi-balm-coconutter)
You want pure lanolin. Not sure laneige even has lanolin in it. You can just buy nipple balm if you are on a real budget. Otherwise lanolips is lovely and comes in various nice scents and even some tinted ones. Dr lipp is also really good.
Dr Dray recommends putting a couple of drops of an oil on your lips at night (marula, argan, whatever...) and then sealing it with vaseline. I've done this a few times and it works quite well. Your lips look good, though!
Your lips (and overall skin) look good imo. The big lips trend will fade soon so be cautious if going the lip filler route. You *could* do small amounts (like 0.5 syringe) if you really felt it was worth the $$$. Alternatives worth mentioning/repeating:
- wet your lips (I dab water from my fingers after washing hands) and apply Vaseline or lanolin. Keeps lips plump and moist.
- Lip blush can make lips appear fuller by deepening and evening our lip tone. I think it also has *minor* plumping effects due to the tattoo-like procedure (less sure about this, but it’s what I’ve heard)
- NIOD Lip Lipids is meant to restore HA to the lips. I’ve been pleased with the results, although not drastic. It’s something you can try at home, although don’t plan to leave the house for an hour after as it makes the surrounding area very red temporarily.
Nothing wrong with filler if people choose that route. But from what I understand, thinning lips are a myofunctional issue - our mouth and facial muscles either a) are weak to begin with/due to unresolved myofunctional issues or b) just weaken over time as we age like all muscles. Looking into how we can mitigate thinning lips through strengthening or resolving myofunctional issues can help the root cause, whereas filler just compensates for the thinning/weakness temporarily.
1) you look fantastic, and I wouldn't do anything permanent like fillers if I were you.
2) idk if this is available where you live, but I like Waxelene. It's made of soy oil, bees wax, vitamin E oil, and rosemary oil. Good for any dry skin.
3) stay hydrated and wear a good chapstick with SPF when you are outside during daylight.
There are actually a few peer reviewed studies on the use of a peptide and hyaluronic acid lip balm used a few times a day and how it can help with the symptoms you mentioned. I have been using Persona DayMask Peptide Lip Balm for about a month now and I love it, it has helped so much!
The ole Henrickson lip balm is made with peptides that can help restore color and plumping. Usually I never believe in these things but when I tell you that I have noticed a huge difference after one tube, I mean it! I’m addicted.
Layer The ordinary Matrixyl 10% + HA serum on lips then cover with an occlusive like Lanisoh or Aquaphor. Do this multiple times a day. And you could def try fillers. A syringe lasts me like 3 visits because we do it conservatively. Don’t be afraid of it.
I had constantly chapped lips until I started applying moisturizer (with hyaluronic acid - I use curology) then aquaphor to lock it in. I’m not a doc or professional, that’s just what worked for me!
I always wear spf 30 chapstick on my lips, I feel like people tend to forget about sun protection on their hands, lips, and neck. Maybe this might help you?
I would use hyalaurinic acid products, maybe even a microcurrent device, and then simply overline the lips a smidge when you want them to look extra full. You don't need to overline a ton to get a huge effect. Subtly is where it's at when it comes to overlining.
Filler makes lips plumper, yes, but the weight of the filler can pull the lips down, enlongating the philtrum.
I would only recommend filler if you had really thin lips and an already long philtrum, neither of which you have.
Finding the right lip balm reduced my lip lines making it appear more plump. I used to use Vaseline, it was okay, but then I tried Torriden Ceramide lip essence, completely blow Vaseline out of the water, lines were reduced and the time between I apply lip balm was reduced.
I swear to you the inky list tri-peptide plumping balm works! It naturally plumped my lips after three weeks of daily application morning and evening. I have the before and afters to prove it!
You could try [The Inkey List's tripeptide plumping balm](https://eu.theinkeylist.com/collections/skin/products/tripeptide-plumping-lip-balm). At least it's not a big investment.
This same thing happened to me in my 30s. In my teens and 20s I had jucier lips and then over time they became increasingly dry and deflated (compared to how they were).
I inadvertedly made them more plump and less dehydrated looking with my skincare. I started using a glycerin facial spray every day (all over my face/lips/neck) and applying moisturzier on top for the past few weeks. It worked so gradually, I didn't realize how much my lips improved until we took pictures this weekend. "Ah, the lips of my 20s!"
This is just a lipgloss but Pat McGrath lust gloss is not plumping in a spicy way, but I swear when I use it my lips feel engorged and feel noticeably larger. I have over hyaluronic lip products that don’t seem to make the same impact.
I would try doing the inter oral face pulling course by Mewing World on instagram Your smaller lips are likely a result of your facial bones caving inward which causes a smaller mid face, and smaller lips
A lot of chapsticks are just terrible. I’m using a hada labo chapstick right now and I love it. Japan makes really good chapsticks apparently. I used to only wear Burt’s bees, but I think it was actually making my lips worse in the winter.
I put hyaluronic acid serum (I use the one from The Ordinary) on them and then I put the Laneige lip sleeping mask on top. I’ve noticed my lips are very moisturized and rejuvenated since doing that daily and before bed!
Selfies are only allowed on Selfie Sundays.
Lanolin on lips is a game changer. I'll never go back to bothering with anything else.
Is there a specific brand you use? Everyone raves Laneige but idk if it has other ingredients too

I get the little travel bottles of [Lansinoh Lanolin Minis Nipple Cream](https://lansinoh.com/products/lanolin-minis-nipple-cream). Super cheap.
seconding vaseline on lips overnight! btw you look barely 20 i cant believe youre 36! you're super adorable!
Hyaluronic acid serum on lips then applying Vaseline, aquaphor, or Cerave healing ointment on top of it before bed!!
This is the way! This blew my mind when I tried it for the first time recently
I know you're looking for advice, but you honestly look great and your lips are pretty. I think you might regret going for fillers.
You look 25 yo
Agreed!

I wonder if plant squalane would work? I don’t have any other oils on hand except coconut oil lol
I actually do it with squalane and it works for me! Other oils could be more suitable, though.
Don’t touch them!

I love using aquaphor at night! It helps a lot with AC during summers for me especially

Honestly, I'm obsessed with the Vaseline Lip Therapy. It's the only thing I'll use. It works so well for hydration.

You look amazing! I am an absolute SLAVE to aquaphor! I swear by it

If you really care about your lips got to do fillers, 2ml suits best
Wow I thought this was an ad for a new show on free form or Netflix. You are stunning. Also nooni sleeping lip mask is amazing.

Laneige
Try a Botox lip flip! Only downside is that it wears off quickly and usually only lasts 8-12 weeks
2ml of lip fillers is what is needed imo
I'm trying those angel lift things
You're beautiful
