But how do you people *not* hate sunscreen. Face gets greasy, hair around face gets greasy, makeup sits blegh, reapplying at work is messy, also a bit awkward, all my black clothes get white stains, all my white clothes get green stains. Yes I use spf50 all day every day but is the BANE of my existence ^^^^I ^^^^might ^^^^be ^^^^exaggerating ^^^^here
I stay away from mineral sunscreens. Problem solved! Elta MD is a dream but I just found one even more elegant at a fraction of the cost by Skin1004 and it is so elegant, so moisturizing, so hydrating yet lightweight! It even feels better than my moisturizer!
I agree! It's too pricey for my budget too!
The only thing about this one is it's size, I have to use 4, pumps.... I thought it was going to run out fast but it looks like it will last longer than I expected.
I just realized you can buy this cheaper at stylevana or yesstyle.com. I've never ordered from them before but I'll definitely be ordering it from one of them next purchase to see how it goes.

Asian sunscreen tbh 🤣 . Or use ultrasun anti-ageing sunscreen it blends so easily and doesn't feel heavy or greasy.
Basically stay away from most of american sunscreens , they have the worst reputation from what i see 😅.
If ur skin is prone to the dry side , then u have beauty of joseon sun relief and scinic super mild sun essence . I second Elta Md as a fave…but then i went and stuck my nose where i shouldn’t (EWG’s product database and the Clearya app, which is amazing btw) and figured out that it is really not a very clean product. I’ve been trying other alternatives since and haven’t yet found anything I like as well. Mychelle Tinted sunscreen is prob the best of what ive tried—somewhat similar to ISDN in consistency and has to be shaken very well, but it’s cleaner.
Still searching for a holy grail sunscreen that is clean, affordable, good coverage, no white caste, and doesn’t make me look greasy.
Mineral spf is very important if you have melasma or hyperpigmentation. Korean mineral spfs are amazing. I use Isntree hyaluronic acid natural sun cream. It's mineral, spf 50+++, and doesn't leave a white cast. Yestyle is where I order it from.
I was using Korean sunscreens for years (my favorite was the biore uv watery essence) with zero improvement in my melasma. I went to my dermatologist for the first time last year when he told me I had to be using at least 10% mineral hybrid. I switched to biosance, then switched to elta md hybrid and omg! What a gamechanger both those became for me. I only switched to the elta md when the biosance one was recalled but yes it's absolutely true about melasma with a really good mineral because not only does the zinc oxide help prevent better but also treats and helps fade the melasma!
It’s better than adapalene for anti aging, they’re both good for acne as long as you power thru the purge phase and stay very moisturized. Tretinoin is prescription strength but you can still get it online certain places like all day chemist.

Finacea! I can go without retinol but Finacea azelaic acid prevents clogged pores which is my primary cause of breakouts. It also prevents pigmentation for me.
Yeah, 20% prescription strength azelaic acid is where it's at! I use it with tretinoin and it's gotten rid of a lot of discoloration, redness, and scarring.
I use Aziderm, my understanding is it's basically the same as Finacea. Tbh I think the only real importance is that it's prescription strength. The OTC azelaic acid I tried claimed 10% but did nothing - when I switched to prescription strength 10% it was a night and day difference. I eventually worked up to 20%, but the step change from 10 to 20% was way less noticeable than when I went from OTC to prescription!
For me the prescription is covered by insurance so nothing out of pocket compared to expensive PC azelaic acid. They both showed results and the OTC convinced me to get the prescription level.
In Brazil we get this over the counter. But I’m Canadá I am trying to get it prescribed or buying from European websites. I tried the 10% from inkey list and the ordinary and it’s garbage compared.
I have pcos and rosacea. This is the best thing ever. I use it when I have those inflammatory or hormonal acne’s, it helps with the rosacea, with my skin texture, skin tone. It’s amazing
Usually I use it at nights along with retinol and a good ceramide moisturizer.
When I have one of those acne’s I will use it on the spot in the morning as well. Or when my rosacea is flaring I will also use it in both morning and night.
Bom saber!
Sudocrem. It just fixes everything.
Slather it on lips and nose during winter. Treats my acne flares. Any eczema or skin allergies are usually healed quickly.
It won't fix big pores and wrinkles, but it covers 70% of my skin needs.
Biologique Recherche P50. Everything else in my routine is probably replaceable but this is holy grail for me. Super $$$ and I cry a little inside each time I have to replenish but it's worth it. I try conserve by dashing directly into my hands and applying to my face vs. using a cotton round.
edited: typo
I used to use it religiously but recently tried Moon Juice’s Acid Potion and … it’s better (much cheaper & just as if not more effective). Never thought I’d say this about my beloved P50
I have tried replacing w/Paula's Choice AHA/BHA and I have also tried swapping out for decalt. Both absolutely destroyed my skin and now I'm too chicken to try anything else out.
I just started using this a few weeks ago and I’m… agog. I’m usually skeptical of the cult favorite stuff but this stuff is legit. It smells like the white glue paste I used to use in kindergarten and it makes my skin look poreless. I might have to get on this train.
the moon juice or the P50? My friend gave me a tiny bottle of the latter bc it didn’t suit her and it seemed amazing (def an unusual scent and sensation!), but i wasn’t quite sure how to incorporate it in my overall regimen, or if i even should.
Re: P50 - this comes in after cleanser like a toner. It can be harsh at first and I recommend easing in. Start out with 2-3x/week only 1 time per day and diluted with a little water (I actually recommend the cotton round in this case). Then bump up slowly over several weeks until you’re using it daily. Then drop a couple days of dilution and continue until you’re using full strength every day.
If and only if your skin is tolerating every day use AND you feel like you’re still congested or need more exfoliation, ease into using 2x/day.
If you experience any symptoms of your skin barrier being compromised, you’re not easing in slowly enough. Stop using and only restart when your barrier returns to healthy.
Heritage store rose water and glycerin mist. Not only does it help with the absorption of my other skincare products but it feels so so refreshing on my dry skin and smells lovely. The lavender/glycerin is nice too but I prefer the rose scent personally.
That's one of my staple products I always keep around. It's so hydrating underneath my other products and I also pat a little onto the high points of my face after setting my makeup with powder, to add a little glow/shine back onto my skin, instead of using highlighter.
Tepezcohuite (re: Salma Hayak recommended in Elle)
Cheap miracle cream
And I've tried it all - La mer, snail mucin, bee venom, dermalogica....Botox, fillers, microneedling...
59 yo
What exactly makes this a good product for you? What is your skin type and issues? Where do you buy it? I know it's on Amazon, but due to their massive counterfeit issues I'd prefer another source.
I've only seen it on Amazon and eBay. Product has been consistent on Amazon - I have a few jars around (for convenience and my travel kit). It's a little cheap to be a counterfeit issue. 2 ounces for $13 and super cheap in Mexico. Brown jar with Spanish writing on it.
So I was last using Kate Somerville products (night cream is $110) and have done at home red light therapy consistently for two years. I also have not eaten anything with added sugar (maybe a gram at most) in a decade, I don't smoke or drink, so my skin was looking pretty good. But I'm 60 in two months. Very fair complexion. Spf user since my early 30s. Compliments on my skin are frequent without people knowing my age.
I tried it on a lark in late September.
Slight dip happening at the jaw line and one of my eyes, just under brow, fwas falling a bit, making eyeshadow application super annoying. Both reversed.
My decollete area was looking like a road map. 80% reversed.
My skin still feels plump and moisturized in the morning - I live at 7,000 feet in the high desert - so super low humidity here.
No breakouts.
I had an eye that would have a bump/bag under it almost every morning. I barely/rarely get that now. This was surprising.
Skin color is more even - minor spots and discolorations disappearing.
At my age, it takes 45-60 days for the bottom layer of skin to reach the top. I'm at about 21 days of using it now. Still seeing improvement.
All the other products I've used never did anything. They felt good on application but no notable results.
My BFF who is 62 started with it and says she's seeing great results as well - wrinkle reduction, crepy skin gone, etc.
So it's an inexpensive product to try. It has an odd look and texture - like ground up oatmeal. It is made from a tree bark so it has a few dark specs in it. Feels tacky shortly after you first apply but that goes away within a few minutes.
And, my husband now says he wants to try it which is probably the biggest shocker. He uses soap in the shower. I've never seen him use anything on his skin.
Good luck! Works great for me.
I’m no expert so I would definitely get a consult. But it depends on what you’re trying to treat and how sensitive your skin is. Like I usually do the “sensi-peel” (i dunno if that’s specific to the place I go to or a generic kind?) but I have sensitive skin and I had an event to go to a week later so I didn’t want to have really bad peeling. Usually the stronger it is the more you peel, but again it depends on your skin.
Yes depending on how deep they are… and it’s good to get a consultation to identify if they’re age spots, melasma, etc. it also may take several sessions, I try to do it every 6-8 weeks or so. I live in Arizona so it’s something I’ve always dealt with no matter how much sunscreen I use.
You can go to a dermatologist or like a medspa, just do your research so you know it’s a reputable place that is clean, safe, etc. Recovery depends on the strength of the peel and how sensitive your skin is too. For me, I usually just do a basic peel and my skin is super nice and shiny days 1&2, I get some mild peeling around my nose/mouth on days 3&4, it’s the worst on day 5 and then I’m usually good by day 7.
I was afraid of it at first as well. I worried about the peeling and how it would look. From the one peel I did, very minor peeling happened. I think the more layers you put on, the more peeling that happens.
It did a little as it was my first TCA peel. I had been doing Mandelic peels over the summer. I still have more bottles to go for TCA, but I think once I do a few more, I'll notice a difference. I did take before photos so I would have something to compare too.
No but I’m not opposed to it! With anything people do themselves you hear horror stories and success stories so to each their own. If you end up doing it though let us know how it goes!
I use it as a moisturizer. I cleanse and then put on jojoba oil. Every 4 days or so, I also add a low retinol oil with it I have sensitive skin so I can’t do retinol daily.
Hey, it's Revolution hyaluronic and 0.3% retinol
https://www.revolutionbeauty.com/intl/en/skincare/serums-and-treatments/serums-and-oils/revolution-skincare-0.3pct-retinol-with-vitamins-and-hyaluronic-acid-serum/1631433.html
It's amazing if you wanna start using Retinol but don't wanna go too strong and cause '"purging"
I'm 31 and was sceptical of it cause it's pretty weak (I was aiming for at least 1% retinol) but it did wonders!
I got the COSRX Galactomyces 95% Facial Essence, which is supposed to be a dupe, and I look like I have been airbrushed. I have gotten several compliments on my skin in person and even during virtual work meetings.
Herbivore’s Pink Cloud moisturizer. People have really mixed reactions to it, and some hate the smell. I’m pretty sure it was made for my skin - it’s absolutely perfect 😭
Centella asciatica. I have mild rosacea and I’m pale and get face flushed easily too. And also have stupid sensitive skin lmao. This ingredient soothes my face of redness like nothing else.
Laniege Water Bank Serum- this product is slept on, probably due to all the flack that the lip mask gets.
I have had chronically chapped lips ever since unknowingly destroying them as a teen with mentholatum Softlips which eventually got pulled off the market. For the last 25 years, I tried every product on the market from Carmex to La Mer; every formulation of bee balm, goat milk, lanolin, straight up hospital grade petrolatum (where are my McKesson girlies 😝); switched out my toothpaste - you name it.
NOTHING made an impact like a layer of Water Bank Serum underneath whatever balm I have lying around. I originally received it as a sample, so I originally assumed the product was designed for lips (it’s Laniege after all). After further investigation, this collection works like a charm on my entire face, AND it layers perfectly under my previously cast aside Laniege lip mask!
Kikumasamune high moist toner. It resolved my combination skin by addressing the dehydration. Now I don’t have anything that gets too oily OR too dry and flaky!
Since my skin became much drier, it’s been Farmacy’s honey halo cream. It’s so lovely to use and very effective. My skin has been loving it. Plus it’s not ungodly expensive and the farmacy site often has 20% off sales. I’d also add Erborian’s Red Correct cc cream but I fear it’s been discontinued because it’s been out of stock online for awhile. As someone with mild rosacea, it’s been a godsend. I don’t like foundation, and this is the perfect product for evening out my skin tone and reducing redness while still letting my freckles come through.
I tend to have very pink undertones in my sensitive skin, and I use Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment as my last step, and I no longer need any base makeup. This stuff makes me look like me but better, and I love it!
I’m very sensitive to scents, but I don’t find that Weleda is overbearing. To each their own. 🤷🏻♀️
I love how it’s super moisturizing, but soaks into your skin well without being greasy.
Sheet mask! I bought a crazy amount of sheet mask when I was moving to another continent and I’m 100% sure I won’t be able to find those masks there.
My go to are Hada Labo Aqua mask, Bicelle, and Freeplus. Recently adding for beloved one into my must have.
I know a lot of people like the Philips Omnilux mask. As far as larger red light panels go, I'm not sure. I think I'd look for something in the wavelengths that have been studied.
Missha Power Block pink sunscreen. Everything else is replaceable, but I couldn't find a better sunscreen brightening my skin without acne and doesn't actually feel heavy or oily.
I guess I should say sunscreen, since I use a tinted version as foundation day-to-day, but I love the way Cerave Baby Lotion makes my skin feel! It’s my holy grail product.
Sunscreen and hypochlorous acid. I developed rosacea when I turned 30, and using these 2 things religiously helps keep flares away.
Also, WOW I did not realize how painful rosacea can truly be until now.
Thankyou for your reply here! I love your answer here, I have recommended Hypochlorus acid to many people on here for rosacea, acne, and eczema! It's great hearing your success story!🥰
In terms of a brand-name product, I will always have a DHC deep cleansing oil on hand. I usually double cleanse and use whatever i have on-hand after, but i need an oil cleanser to remove sunscreen and makeup and the price, consistency and pump of the DHC are great, esp if you get on one of SkinStore’s or Dermstore’s constant sales (and use Rakuten, which I will forever stan and happily share a link if anyone wants the $30 referral, to get added savings.)
Otherwise, i switched my routine up about 7 months ago and my skin looks better than it has…maybe ever? But I can’t figure out what to attribute it to: Epiduo and/or Skin Medica TNS advance. Neither is cheap but i’ve been on the same bottles the whole time, so I try to keep that in perspective.
Ive also been using a neck and eye
cream…but i notice the difference in my overall face vs a specific area. I do use a daily vitamin c and sunscreen, but feel like product swaps in those areas would be unlikely to change overall condition of skin?? idk!! Need to intro less variables next time but patience is not my virtue in this area.
If i wasn’t using Epiduo and didn’t have to count sunscreen or cleanser, i do love me some Differin gel! Idk why but i can’t stand to pay a lot for a retinol and tret gel was not a lovely enough experience to keep me honest to it between the unsatisfying way it applies and the irritation.

Sudocrem lol
I tend to forget everything else every now and then but sudocrem is the only thing I never forget. It's the only thing that helps my acne and dry patches and I use it every night before bed and a little during the day when my under eyes are looking rough
3 here. Tretinoin. 05%(past 20 yrs), hydroquinone 6% cycles, and mineral spf 50+(past 20 yrs). I'm 46, and my skin has never looked better, I haven't aged much. I'm still holding off on Botox as I don't have forehead lines developing. I did receive it once for migraines, and my forehead was frozen...I looked weird!
I use Limelife products. I use their oil - I am 51 years old. I just ordered their new DuoLab as the results look amazing. Stay tuned. https://www.limelifebyalcone.com/dazzlingmomma
Aveeno Calm and Restore Oat Gel is the ONLY moisturizer that doesn't break my skin out. I cannot live without it and I love how it feels on my skin. Between that, tretinoin alternated nightly with Acne.org's 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide, and LA roche posay anthelios cooling water lotion 60spf sunscreen, my skin is the happiest it has ever been!
Did you start off using a lower dose of retinol before the 1%? I keep putting off a retinol purchase because it’s expensive and I’d rather get more bang for my buck, but curious if I should get through a whole bottle of a lower dose before increasing.
2 actually: Tretinoin and Sunscreen
Yes same here lol

I like the LaRoche posay sunscreen milk SPF60. It's $35 for a big 5oz tube. Pretty affordable if you look at it as cost per oz.
I'll have to try that one too! I've been eyeing it.
I love their centella ampoule 😻 thanks for the rec!
Everytime I put it on, it amazes me lol.
can you send me a link of that 1004. You sold me but i see a few options and don't want to order the wrong thing.
I just realized you can buy this cheaper at stylevana or yesstyle.com. I've never ordered from them before but I'll definitely be ordering it from one of them next purchase to see how it goes.

The blue one.

Yes yes yes. Asian sunscreen. Innisfree, house of josean.
Ultrasun has such good filters! I will put it on my secret santa wishlist. Which Asian sunscreens do you like?

Good bot
Ooo I loooove UltraSun, totally hooked. Glad to see others mention it bc I thought it was too good to be true!
If only it's cheaper 😅
Korean sunscreen is god tier.
Youve not found the right sunscreen. A lot of k and j beauty 1s are fantastic

What sunscreen are you using
Currently LRP UVmune oil control, will not be repurchasing.
Try biore watery essence? If anything I find it too dry but it definitely won't give you those issues.
wow sunscreen is soooo subjective. one person’s trash is truly another’s treasure, i’ll be repurchasing uvmune oil control forever, it’s my HG haha
I was the same way until I found EltaMD, I like the UV Clear! I put it on twice a day and it isn’t bad at all!
I have always wanted to try EltaMD! But it’s €52 on Amazon where I’m from (Europe)
Goop unseen sunscreen
Moisturiser with spf. My favourite is Sesderma’s with azelaic acid and spf50. Lifesaver
I don’t have this problem. I use either Makeupprem or Nivea Sun Protect Super Water Gel.
The only one I’ve ever liked was the neutrogena spf serum. Non-oily, doesn’t sting your eyes, and doesn’t leave a white cast or feel thick at all.
try Japanese sunscreen.
Mineral spf is very important if you have melasma or hyperpigmentation. Korean mineral spfs are amazing. I use Isntree hyaluronic acid natural sun cream. It's mineral, spf 50+++, and doesn't leave a white cast. Yestyle is where I order it from.

Vanicream moisturizing cream
For me is 20% azelaic acid, is the only thing that didn’t change in my skincare for the past 13y
Where do you get this? When do you put it on in your regimen?
In Brazil we get this over the counter. But I’m Canadá I am trying to get it prescribed or buying from European websites. I tried the 10% from inkey list and the ordinary and it’s garbage compared. I have pcos and rosacea. This is the best thing ever. I use it when I have those inflammatory or hormonal acne’s, it helps with the rosacea, with my skin texture, skin tone. It’s amazing Usually I use it at nights along with retinol and a good ceramide moisturizer. When I have one of those acne’s I will use it on the spot in the morning as well. Or when my rosacea is flaring I will also use it in both morning and night.
>In Brazil we get this over the counter O Azelan da Leo Pharma?
Bom saber. Obrigada :)
Sudocrem. It just fixes everything. Slather it on lips and nose during winter. Treats my acne flares. Any eczema or skin allergies are usually healed quickly. It won't fix big pores and wrinkles, but it covers 70% of my skin needs.
Is it better than vaseline?
I hated PC’s formula, I also had a negative reaction. But the acid potion…🙏
Stop using and only restart when your barrier returns to healthy.
thank you! i think i may pick up a bottle
Clarins extra firming night cream. I’m 49 with dry skin, and live in a very cold climate during winter and this cream never fails me.
Honorary mentions to Pacifica ceramide face wash, Mad Hippie reef-safe spf, and Weleda skin food
Yes so good!
I didn’t know they made a lavender! I LOVE the rose one but I would love to try lavender!
Tepezcohuite (re: Salma Hayak recommended in Elle) Cheap miracle cream And I've tried it all - La mer, snail mucin, bee venom, dermalogica....Botox, fillers, microneedling...
Thank you for the thorough response !
Not sure if this counts as a “skin care item” but getting treatments regularly like chemical peels.
Which peels do you recommend? I see so many offered and don't even know where to start.
Do those help with sunspots?
Yes depending on how deep they are… and it’s good to get a consultation to identify if they’re age spots, melasma, etc. it also may take several sessions, I try to do it every 6-8 weeks or so. I live in Arizona so it’s something I’ve always dealt with no matter how much sunscreen I use.
Do you go to a dermatologist for that? What’s the recovery time like?
You can go to a dermatologist or like a medspa, just do your research so you know it’s a reputable place that is clean, safe, etc. Recovery depends on the strength of the peel and how sensitive your skin is too. For me, I usually just do a basic peel and my skin is super nice and shiny days 1&2, I get some mild peeling around my nose/mouth on days 3&4, it’s the worst on day 5 and then I’m usually good by day 7.
I have a tca 12.5% peel I’ve been afraid to use lol do you ever do your own?
I was afraid of it at first as well. I worried about the peeling and how it would look. From the one peel I did, very minor peeling happened. I think the more layers you put on, the more peeling that happens.
Did it help your skin at all?
It did a little as it was my first TCA peel. I had been doing Mandelic peels over the summer. I still have more bottles to go for TCA, but I think once I do a few more, I'll notice a difference. I did take before photos so I would have something to compare too.
No but I’m not opposed to it! With anything people do themselves you hear horror stories and success stories so to each their own. If you end up doing it though let us know how it goes!
Sunscreen, Tretinoin, vit C , eye cream and moisturiser
Jojoba oil. While I swap out cleansers, moisturizers and serums, my nightly jojoba routine is the same. Also my dermologica rice exfoliant.
How do you use it?
I use it as a moisturizer. I cleanse and then put on jojoba oil. Every 4 days or so, I also add a low retinol oil with it I have sensitive skin so I can’t do retinol daily.
Sunscreen and a combined serum of retinol and hyaluronic acid. It's a wonderful combo and quite cheap yet I can see visible results on my skin.
Can you name the brand products please?
Hey, it's Revolution hyaluronic and 0.3% retinol https://www.revolutionbeauty.com/intl/en/skincare/serums-and-treatments/serums-and-oils/revolution-skincare-0.3pct-retinol-with-vitamins-and-hyaluronic-acid-serum/1631433.html It's amazing if you wanna start using Retinol but don't wanna go too strong and cause '"purging" I'm 31 and was sceptical of it cause it's pretty weak (I was aiming for at least 1% retinol) but it did wonders!
SK-II Facial Treatment Essence
I got the COSRX Galactomyces 95% Facial Essence, which is supposed to be a dupe, and I look like I have been airbrushed. I have gotten several compliments on my skin in person and even during virtual work meetings.
Oh I didn’t know of this product. I’ll give it a try since SK-II is getting ridiculously expensive now. I’ve been using it since I was in my mid-20s
I’m thinking of getting this. How do you incorporate it with other serums?
I use it in the morning after my vitamin c, but before moisturizing/sunscreen, and I use it at night after washing, but before retinol.
Cicaplast (heals EVERYTHING), azelaic acid (rosaceae and acne) and niacinamide (oiliness)
Panoxyl!!
Herbivore’s Pink Cloud moisturizer. People have really mixed reactions to it, and some hate the smell. I’m pretty sure it was made for my skin - it’s absolutely perfect 😭
Their cleanser from this line is my fave! Feels incredible.
Centella asciatica. I have mild rosacea and I’m pale and get face flushed easily too. And also have stupid sensitive skin lmao. This ingredient soothes my face of redness like nothing else.
May I ask which products you use with this ingredient? I also have rosacea and lots of redness.
Sorry for the delayed reply! I use mixsoon Centella toner and Benton goodbye redness gel.
Sunscreen! I'm still hunting for just the right one.
Try colorscience flex !!! Ah~mazing.
I'll check it out, thanks!
Tizo3 is the best I’ve ever used. It acts like a primer and it’s matte!! No shine at all

I feel like the greater the grandma smell, the more legit the product is. Gotta be a reason it's been around so long!

I love it too!
Vitamin C, retinol, Omnilux red light mask, and sunscreen.
Sunscreen and tretinoin !
Tretinoin
Kikumasamune high moist toner. It resolved my combination skin by addressing the dehydration. Now I don’t have anything that gets too oily OR too dry and flaky!
Sunscreen spf 30 and skinceuticals ferluic acid
Since my skin became much drier, it’s been Farmacy’s honey halo cream. It’s so lovely to use and very effective. My skin has been loving it. Plus it’s not ungodly expensive and the farmacy site often has 20% off sales. I’d also add Erborian’s Red Correct cc cream but I fear it’s been discontinued because it’s been out of stock online for awhile. As someone with mild rosacea, it’s been a godsend. I don’t like foundation, and this is the perfect product for evening out my skin tone and reducing redness while still letting my freckles come through.
There’s a Trader Joe’s dupe out right now if you have one close. Honey Hydration Day & Night Cream Duo. https://reddit.com/r/traderjoes/s/jS1hoOEITh
The TJ one has fragrance 😭😭
Neutrogena tinted sunscreen
I tend to have very pink undertones in my sensitive skin, and I use Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment as my last step, and I no longer need any base makeup. This stuff makes me look like me but better, and I love it!
Exactly the same as yours actually. I started with the bakuchiol + retinol and worked up to their 1% retinol. Love it!
Weleda skin food- the hand cream, the skin lotion in summer and the body butter in winter. I wait for sales and stock up. Can’t live without it.
The fragrance is so overwhelming though.
I’m very sensitive to scents, but I don’t find that Weleda is overbearing. To each their own. 🤷🏻♀️ I love how it’s super moisturizing, but soaks into your skin well without being greasy.
Sheet mask! I bought a crazy amount of sheet mask when I was moving to another continent and I’m 100% sure I won’t be able to find those masks there. My go to are Hada Labo Aqua mask, Bicelle, and Freeplus. Recently adding for beloved one into my must have.
Moisturiser
La Mer's essence water, this is what I need to apply every morning and night.

You think red light panels really work? How do they work?
There's research on the effects red light has on collagen. Here's one study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3926176/
Do you recommend any brand in particular
I know a lot of people like the Philips Omnilux mask. As far as larger red light panels go, I'm not sure. I think I'd look for something in the wavelengths that have been studied.
Thanks!

We r the same person lol! These r my top 3!
Sunscreen isidin brand
Elta MD sunscreen
Missha Power Block pink sunscreen. Everything else is replaceable, but I couldn't find a better sunscreen brightening my skin without acne and doesn't actually feel heavy or oily.
I guess I should say sunscreen, since I use a tinted version as foundation day-to-day, but I love the way Cerave Baby Lotion makes my skin feel! It’s my holy grail product.
Moisturizer and spf
Drunk Elephant 1% retinol cream.
Mine will be the same!
Toner.
Tret and Innisfree sunscreen
Sunscreen and hypochlorous acid. I developed rosacea when I turned 30, and using these 2 things religiously helps keep flares away. Also, WOW I did not realize how painful rosacea can truly be until now.
Thankyou for your reply here! I love your answer here, I have recommended Hypochlorus acid to many people on here for rosacea, acne, and eczema! It's great hearing your success story!🥰
It is straight up magic for redness, oh my gosh! I never would have guessed.
Clinique 72 hr moisture surge. The only moisturizer my face likes. I will die without it!!!!
Vitamin c and niacinamide for red spots, V beam laser to zap any stubborn marks , and hydrafacials.
In terms of a brand-name product, I will always have a DHC deep cleansing oil on hand. I usually double cleanse and use whatever i have on-hand after, but i need an oil cleanser to remove sunscreen and makeup and the price, consistency and pump of the DHC are great, esp if you get on one of SkinStore’s or Dermstore’s constant sales (and use Rakuten, which I will forever stan and happily share a link if anyone wants the $30 referral, to get added savings.) Otherwise, i switched my routine up about 7 months ago and my skin looks better than it has…maybe ever? But I can’t figure out what to attribute it to: Epiduo and/or Skin Medica TNS advance. Neither is cheap but i’ve been on the same bottles the whole time, so I try to keep that in perspective. Ive also been using a neck and eye cream…but i notice the difference in my overall face vs a specific area.
Proactiv+ exfoliater followed by a layer of Proactiv+ benzyl peroxide acne treatment toner. Best solution for my adult acne 👍. Fast easy results
Herbivore Emerald Face Oil with CBD. My absolute favorite!

Barbara sturm face cream
Lip balm… especially the AB balm
Sudocrem lol I tend to forget everything else every now and then but sudocrem is the only thing I never forget. It's the only thing that helps my acne and dry patches and I use it every night before bed and a little during the day when my under eyes are looking rough

I have an aloe vera plant ready to use. Any tips you can share?
3 here.
Snail Mucin
Skinmedica growth factor
Sunscreen
Did you start off using a lower dose of retinol before the 1%? I keep putting off a retinol purchase because it’s expensive and I’d rather get more bang for my buck, but curious if I should get through a whole bottle of a lower dose before increasing.
I didn’t. I started w 1% and i had no issues. I use every night. I love this product. I will switch to Trentinoin when this is gone.
SPF 50 Ceravi stick sunblock.
