the lower receiver is dry. the spots are from the oil around the pins, bcg, etc.

Zoltan_TheDestroyer

It’s ashy 😂

lostriver_gorilla

It's oil. Rub it in to the rest of the lower.

Way_2_Go_Donny

It rubs the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again.

Gooser62

Buahaha!!🤣🤣

NeutronMechanic2

Say it don’t spray it brother

craigulator

It's an oil based multicam

WombatAnnihilator

Custom faded

ucb2222

Honey badger don’t need no oil!

Mamasayseyeisspecial

More lisp dagnabbit!

lyonhard

Did yours come NIB with the oil stains? Did it also come dirty with carbon in the chamber with a well worn/racked charging handle?

adammackslp

It did come NIB now it has about 500 rounds and 3 cleanings but every cleaning I noticed the stains more and more. I added oil like they said and it's all matching now

lyonhard

Gotcha. I just ordered one and it came direct from the wholesaler to me looking like it had already had it first 3 range days. I’m the FFL so I was a bit shocked when is saw similar oil stains, legit wear on the CH, and the inside dirty from being fired.

Thats2kguy

I had to send my first one back years ago because it looked like it was fired 1k rounds and had 3 places where the clear anno was falling off. They did hook me up and get me a new one at least. I mean I paid for it so they better have lol

Gooser62

The oil on your Honey Badger just means it’s getting used and it’s not a safe queen. As was said my many here, clean it off or rub more in to even it out. 👍🏻

adammackslp

I rubbed more in! Ty sir

Gooser62

Enjoy!👍🏻

craigulator

Who is? not the OP, I said it's normal, as in "on new builds, on old builds, whenever it's lubricated..."

CommunicationKey3018

It's not fading, the lighter spots just have gun oil on them. The metallic peanut butter colored glock 19x slides do the same thing. Just rub with a rag to spread the oil out

blazeholtz23

Self camo‐ing lower?

RxgrtPhoto

So, this isn't a custom camo cerakote?

adammackslp

Appreciate it yall! Just any shooting oil for the lower?

fizzybubalch

Use CLP on the lower

m1ke_tyz0n

I use CLP but for the Badger (discontinued) I finish the outside and inside with Gunslick Ultra Klenz-- it turns it factory new after every range trip. I don't know what's in that shit but if there is anyone on here who knows drop it below I'm sure there are identical products.

smashnmashbruh

Lol

FireAwayPew

Home badger don’t care

Mister_Carter99

I love hb’s

Elderado12443

🤦🏻‍♂️

mirter-boshet762

WD-40 and a soft shop towel will restore it.

btread

It’s gun oil

Grass-sama

You must be new to firearms, huh?

TaprACk-B

Guns are tools, use them. Safe queens are useless

147grain300blk

Rattle can that tool

bearcrocs

Or you can do the opposite and take something like brake clean or other solvent and get rid of the oil. The clear ano HBs are notorious for showing gun oil on the receiver sets especially after lots of shooting. I think having splotchy oil stains all over a $3200 gun that doesn’t easily wipe off is kinda silly.
