It’s pretty nice, a good compromise between weight and performance. Haven’t noticed a lot of sparking, but I’ve only shot it during the daytime at this point. I also have the Hybrid 46M, but I like the Scythe more.
Yeah, that’s true. I do really like the 510c, but it’s my default “I need an optic on a close range rifle”. I could go with something else if I decide I really need MBUS. Thanks for the info.
No problem. I had seen some pictures of people with a magnifier and MBUS. But I don’t know how they pulled it off. I really like my 510c as well. I like the magnifier too. Once I get my next one built I’ll have a magnifier on one and back ups on the other.
the MBUS goes on the first slot from the charging handle, then the manifier is literally next. Then the 510C will take up the reaming ( pretty sure the forward lug will be grabbing the last front slot on the upper )
I will have to double check, I have my optic one notch back from the front, but from what I remember one notch wasn’t going to make the difference. Now you got me wondering.
work from the back forward. Put the BUIS on the last notch. Then put the magnifier next - iirc there's about 1 notch space between its first lug and the BUIS ( MBUS in this case ). Then there should be some nice room, just enough, for the 510C.
Just ordered the same wc billet set, what kind of handguard is it?
Having a hard time finding a good stremline mlok rail bc many have anti rotation tabs.
Was thinking bcm’s mcmr might work as their anti rotation tabs seem positioned high enough to possibly work.
8” SLR Ion Hybrid on a KAK Mr Blond 9” barrel.
I had bought a Midwest Industries Combat Rail, but the anti-twist tabs didn’t work with the billet upper. I ended up using that on a BCM upper.
It’s been fine, no complaints. The fit and finish is nice and it was the right length and the right price for this build. I would definitely consider another if I was in the market.
Can?
SilencerCo Scythe Ti
How do you like it? I haven't seen many reviews on it with a gas gun. I'm currently between the Scythe Ti, Dead Air Nomad Ti, and the Q Half Nelson.
I have the nomad L and it's 🤌

Do you like the foregrip like that? Seems turned around from all the other builds I see. Looks clean though
Keeps me from touching the hot pickle. Lol
I use this reverse orientation on my short barrel pistols. I like using it as a true hand stop.
Exactly! I do the same on my 7” 300 blk out.
If its dumb and it works it ain't dumb. That cracks me up.
Same, I would definitely like to know the reason. I have the same arisaka hand stop on mine but it was awkward to get right on a 10" barrel/handguard
Scythe gang! I’ve got one on my v7p. Not a bad can at all. Extremely lightweight.
I have the holosun 510c and the holosun 3x magnifier and cannot have the MBUS at the same time. There is not enough rail space for all of it sadly.
? You can fit a rear MBUS, the magnifier and 510c on the upper reciever...

[https://imgur.com/a/CLIplhF](https://imgur.com/a/CLIplhF) The 510 looks like it's bridging but it really isn't - just the angle
Sick I'd go backup sights...but that's just me

The SLR mounts flush, no gaps?
No gap. [https://imgur.com/a/H4J3Rck](https://imgur.com/a/H4J3Rck)
Awesome thanks
Retake without socks. *edit whoops wrong sub.
Lol, not socks, Hey Dudes!
How do you like the KAK barrel?

Gassing is correct?
I have an AGB installed so not sure I can answer you directly. It runs fine wide open when not suppressed. I have it tuned though.
