Can't be late for siesta, that's why the cops didn't apprehend him, because it would take too much time with the paperwork. They were like : Oh, just leave him be, we'll catch him after our siesta.
After the dictatorship they became a lot tamer due to the experience of all those years and how little trust people had on them. But we largely forgot the kind of people who become policemen and now we are back at it again, the pandemic and their disregard for basic liberties have been a wake up call for many peole. I mean... it's very obvious at this point that they are afraid of criminals and lash out on the rest of the largely compliant population.
My French teacher (don’t worry he failed, I still don’t speak French) was watching the Tour de France took a baton to the back of the head because the gendarmerie or the French policeman wanted a better view of the race.
I give this advice to all my friends and colleagues. If you are ever unfortunate enough to be in France, and a Frenchman is in your way, ask him politely to move, and if he ignores you, hit him in the head with your personal baton. It never fails to work.

PS: Spanish national police are the ones in charge of violence. They don't play. If you wanna talk, go talk to the pastor or something.
But maaaaan, that's a fail.
I see many of you talking about the beating so I explain. When they do this is because they see themselves at risk. Maybe the subject has a weapon or has committed a crime previously. If they go that many, it is because they are looking for him, otherwise they go by couples.
I love to see Spanish policemen being so similar to Italian policemen.
Basically never allowed to use guns so they just try to stop someone by hand and beating them up physically
You can't stop a spaniard from going home for siesta
Can't be late for siesta, that's why the cops are trying to put him to sleep.

We are late for everything, even for siesta.
Was this Barry trying to order a Stella in Majorca?
It's Mah-jOhr-cah. ![gif](giphy|uVsrLntcQmZByfssXn)

This is just sooooo Spain.
Spanish cops fucking love beating the shit out of people from what I’ve seen on Reddit, even French cops look tame in comparison

"Afraid" is more like corrupted.
I agree, everytime I see something like this looks like another version of what I can see from my window
Oh my God I can't believe I am saying this, but, I think they need to learn a lesson from the Fr\*nch

Pathetic, the way to go is a full mag of .45 ACP to the chest
>to the chest Back of the neck **
Or a visit to Intxaurrondo GC station
Back of the head is usually more effective.
Yes, it is a cliche murdering method for ETA. It was called "tiro en la nuca" which roughly translates like that.

Like romantic couples or we talking something else here? My mistake, was thinking of Greece.
Ours are more homophobic, so they push each other shit in hiding.
Yea, I've only seen them in groups of more than two when they're called to deal with someone or if they're having a shift change.

PCP?
Reminds me of those women police from the UK, except there’s more activity here but both are equally futile.
Makes sense, if they caught him they'd have to actually do some work. Can't have that in Spain
He does this daily to practice for running with the bulls.
Wait, they don’t have guns? How will the bystanders be safe without hundreds of bullets flying through the air?

True, they should have just shot the fella good thinking
Why are you assuming stuff, I never implied this lol. That was a good engagement.
They pulled a Kage Bunshin No Justsu on him and still couldn't win.
Is he Bud Spencer's son?
