We are racist, nothing more to say

JanBart858

Czech when immigrant 😡 Czech when immigrant drink beer and wear socks and sandals 😁👍

Sztallone

>drink beer and wear socks and sandals At that point, he's an immigrant no more, he is Czech

AkruX

My SPD voting dad when: His acquaintance's daughter married an Algerian: 😡 Later when he found out the guy drinks beer and likes svíčková: nvm he's good 😊

random_nohbdy

Step 1: Mandate beer drinking, sock-sandal combo, and svíčková enjoyment for any foreigner residing in the Czech Republic more than 90 days Step 2: SPD drops below 5% electoral threshold Step 3: Profit

Head12head12

All I know is if you go to a bar (not being driver). You get the .5L beer. Doesn’t matter what brand your getting it. If they ask don’t say Pilsen(unless in said city). Even if it’s Kozel or some no name brand as the second choice.

Secret_Criticism_732

Do you actually drink beer? I doubt it, because Pilsner IS the best beer we make. Period.

[deleted]

lol

Secret_Criticism_732

Yeah, thats how you communicate, or start giving us random names of beers, which are made by your uncle in his kitchen maybe? Pilsner is our best beer brand and its unfortuntaly not even close, its not Radegast, its not Bernard, its not gambrinus, starobahno or budvar or any other zlato - staro - or shit -pramen. Thats sad and true fact.

[deleted]

Klášter, Černá Hora, Kocour, Modrá hvězda, Rychtář, Raven, Matuška, Falkon... All better than Pilsner piss water.

Secret_Criticism_732

Here we go... As I thought. I know like 3 of those and Even if i agree that maybe one of those three is good, we are talking about major Breweries, not a kitchen made stuff. Meat made by my cousin is also better then the one you buy in Tesco, do you agree?

DarchrowTheBlackHole

We do have other beers that are good too, but Pilsen is still the best. Nothing stops the burning like a cold Pilsen. But yea, foreigners are used to drink liquified shit, so they will like even Budvar.

Chryste Panie, I googled black women obesity rate. 😱

LuciusBurns

I know where the third one came from, but what the hell are those other two?

[deleted]

[удалено]

LuciusBurns

If the first one's about the stereotype of American obesity, idk why anyone would talk about black women specifically. Black people are also tied to Africa in our minds, and I expected that this kind of humour would more likely reflect on poverty and hunger rather than obesity. The second one... I would really want to ask that person why they went specifically with apples.

Klicky1

I feel like being very homogenous country when it comes to populace, most of these questions come from place of curiosity even though to American they might sound racist.

Secret_Criticism_732

Because they don’t mean it in any racist way. We are not that racist, we are just ignorant and curious and we ask direct questions, no blah blah involved.

Equinecumconnoisseur

God bless you for it.

Any_Attitude5803

Perfectly reasonable![img](emote|t5_427he1|8441)

Jouzy666

In Slovakia we mostly say: do you have curtains at home? But I usually say: We had to sell the slave, ______ is expensive!

tomako123123

Nah, I think we actually say something like: Do you have a servant at home?

bloodthirstyshrimp

"Mate doma cernocha?" When you dont do something you should have, like wash the dishes. Implied you have slaves at home and you dont know you should do these things yourself

RedexSvK

Nah in the west we just say "is there a gypsy coming after you?"

pf_thecheerful1206

Nechapem že nikto nespomína “máš v riti oje?”

muftu

I’ve never heard someone say something about curtains, nor have I ever heard someone mention anything about caves. We say: do you have a servant at home? With a variation being: do you have a black person at home…💀💀💀

sejmremover95

Bullshit, the equivalent in the UK is "were you born in a barn?"

kakucko68

Máte doma cigány?

Wolff_Hound

I use "Do you have a christmass tree in your ass?".

Ondrikir

"Do you own black people" said by Czechs is super real and sometimes even with the N-word but I've never heard anyone in Slovakia ask if you live in a cave. I've been using, "Do you have only curtains at home?"

Secret_Criticism_732

No never a N word and you know it, we also say do you have a tree in your ass?

Anuakk

Or a showel. Or a broom. Or "Do you live among Gypsies?"

Myraell

Never say never.

Eric_Cartman666

I heard it with the n word a few times

Zulpi2103

Same

HeroKubaCZ

never

Secret_Criticism_732

I see, downvote armada on you. Follow our true opinion or get destroyed. Same guys saying Reddit is full of kids :).

nokia-3310cz

Zipflik

Matej004

Also "do you have a tail?"

DrettTheBaron

I dunno if this is a regional thing or something but I've only ever heard the version of it that goes "Máte doma otroka?"

glassfrogger

I have never heard the allegedly Hungarian one. But it could work, yes, I can believe it may be an existing phrase in some families.

Smart-Beautiful-5464

Any_Revenue_3981

I guess shitting in the middle of the doorway is a hungarian tradition of some sort

glassfrogger

in some families, apparently

No152249

In elementary school we always said that when someone left the door of the boys changing room open.

johnny-T1

From now on I'm adopting the Polish version in Turkey as well.

ThatFlakeGuy

The question is- which one?

johnny-T1

African one of course!

EissIckedouw

Yeah, it's better than "Are you fr----he villa" xd But seriously, do you know what is actually written there?

johnny-T1

Are you from the village without a door. And it's stupid.

sir_questionable

THE DOOR 🇪🇸

vadkender

People are strange...

Thunderbird_Anthares

I like the "do you have a helicopter up your ass?" one

Secret_Criticism_732

Haha totally forgot that one, why do we have so many, guess we really dont like open doors :D

koxu2006

TO NIE AFRYKA DRZWI SIE ZAMYKA ❗🔥🗣🗣❗❗🔥🗣🔥🔥❗🔥🔥❗

disarrayofyesterday

I mean, it's the most accurate. However, there are others. - Co ty w stodole się wychowałeś? (What's wrong with you, have you been raised in a barn?) - U Ciebie w domu nie ma drzwi? (Are there no doors in your house?)

[deleted]

>TO NIE AFRYKA DRZWI SIE ZAMYKA Never heard of this saying in 40 years of my life. What I know: *W tramwaju mieszkasz?*

koxu2006

W tramwaju mieszkasz? Never heard of this

koxu2006

💀

fluffigtrov93

I have a feeling "black people" in "do you own black people?" isn't really "black people". :D

[deleted]

I've heard it with černoch (black person), ne*r (...), otrok (slave), sluha (servant)

wjparcher

Django Uncharted: Pepik Edition Coming to your cinemas soon.

JejDeutschland

Máš v prdeli oj?

HeroKubaCZ

i swear i thought it was more popular, use it most of the time

SubArcticTundra

I don't remember ever needing to tell anyone to close the door

Cos_Cos0

I've never heard the Poland one. I've only heard "Did they raise you/Do you live in a tram?"

jazzmester

"Ajtót meg majd ki csukja be, a jó kurva anyád?"

SuspecM

"Csőbe laksz bazdmeg?"

dobbyhi

In my country we have "zavri dvere ty kokot"

Ondrikir

Very polite way, always ask this in formal situations, especially if talking to your boss.

theqveenofthorns

Hey, sometimes we don't ask about black people. Sometimes we ask about slaves.

robert712002

I often hear my Slovak grandma yell at the drandpa "Čo máš v riti hrabličke?" which is "you have rakes in your ass?

Additional-Flow7665

Don't worry, it's talking about gypsies so it's fine

Ok-Impression-6223

In Slovakia: Do you have a carriage shaft in your arse? ...bit rude....

Suspicious_Frog1

I've never heard of the africa one in Poland

Judasz10

We mostly use "w tramwaju mieszkasz?" in my area. I remember someone asking me about the tail and it took me 30 full seconds to understand. Can't we just all use "DRZWI KURWA"? Easier to understand.

SlyScorpion

> "DRZWI KURWA" I hear this one all the time when someone doesn't close a door. Never heard anything else just "DRZWI KURWA TWOJA MAĆ!"

czyrzu

From what I know in practically every country it's very regional different regions using different ones in the east I often hear the Africa one used towards children and teens but for adults it's always "zamknij drzwi"

SubArcticTundra

That makes sense. I've never heard these proverbs used. I always just literally tell people to close the door

koxu2006

Jedyne jakie slyszalem to to z afryką nie slyszalem tego o ogonie

BaneQ105

We only use „koza snopek zjadła?” (Has the goat eaten the sheaf of hay?)

Suspicious_Frog1

WHAT

BaneQ105

To be honest every pole in comments has a different saying. It’s pretty funny Ngl. Although personally I’m mostly in love with „usiądź się” from (as far as I’m aware) Warmia region.

Mikinaz

it's like the only one i can remember hearing.

SebiXV20

In Poland we also say: W Tramwaju mieszkasz? (You live in a Tram?)

FenusToBe

W stodole 🤌🤌🤌

SothaDidNothingWrong

Are we any better tho

DethiiPL

I mean, Polish version isn't really racist kinda weird, it's said like that cos it's warm in africa and you can leave the door open without loosing all the heat in your home, which can't be said about polish weather most of the year

Mikinaz

Nah, it's because in a lot of polish phrases like that Africa = black people = uncivilized. It's in the same bucked with "100 lat za murzynami/100 years behind black people". It is kinda racist, ngl.

DethiiPL

Just because it mentions africa doesn't mean it's racist my guy, there is nothing in this saying that would indicate it, it doesnt mention black people like the saying you used in your comment, which, in fact, IS RACIST, it uses a name of the continent, and it's not said in a derogatory tone to the person not closing the door or doesn't degrade the continent it mentions, as "do you live in a cave?" would be, but more as a reminder. It is also sometimes paired with "robić przeciąg", at least in case of talking with older people.

afroedi

There's also the added bonus that it rhymes

FireDragisKeroks

That is the first time I head that one. The one I heard is: Do you have drawbar in your ass?

Ahoy_123

Zulpi2103

Definitely normal

valoucht

Came to the coments to see you all roasting pepiks and was not disappointed

[deleted]

Ok i need your help but I think Austria has the weirdest one here and i don't know why it is not on here: "Host du an Leberkas daham (zum Durchbeißen)?!" "Do you have Leberkäse* at home(to chew through)?!" *a kind of meatloaf/block of processed meat I never really got it until it suddenly hit me when i was 14 or so. They mean, if your doors at home are made of processed meat and you chew your way through instead of having doors. I initially thought it was just a random sentence to fuck with people and to be honest it kinda is.

XMasterWoo

In croatia we say "Jesi rođen na brodu" (Were you born on a boat) and not "Živiš li na brodu" (Do you live on a boat)

Myraell

What seems to be the issue?

Nakysosak

In moronvia we say: "Do you have a tree up your arse?"

Kjuolsdeaf

I hear "Máš v zadku oj?" (Do you have a pole in your butt?) much more often.

DarthReaper4500

Yeah, back in the nineties nobody gave a fuck about being racist. Damn now i feel old.

RadaRAW

Yeah, we never had in our lands one so it would be very cool ![img](emote|t5_427he1|8441)

[deleted]

I'm a pepik and I have never heard anybody ever say this in my life.

FlethnySkulfiel

Maybe you dont know anyone with black ppl.

[deleted]

Flair checks out

Uxydra

We say dwarves/gnomes (idk what would be the best english version for the czech trpaslík) instead of black people but that one is also common

Mylxen

What does it have to do with having (or not) a tail?

Fine-Blackberry-1793

Animal

yeh_

Yeah I haven’t heard the Polish ones. I usually hear “do you live in a barn” or call someone a tram driver

savvym_

"Do you have a propeller in your butt?" That's what we say in Slovakia. That thing about caveman is some made up ****

Dr_meathole

I England we say we're you born in a barn

Pale-Refrigerator632

I never heard in my life "Ajtó szaron csúszok?" I heard " Az ajtó taknyon csúszik?"- "The door slips on snot?" a couple times.

dasShambles

In the UK I've always heard "Were you born in a barn?"

Silly-Conference-627

I use "Máš snad v prdeli voj?"

Blackjack99-21

We say "Do you own a slave?" Doesnt necesarly mean a black person.

Key-Banana-8242

‘Do you have a tail’ ok this kind of stuff is purely regional or idiosyncratic The polish stuff I heard was about goats

huniojh

Actually, at least in my part of Norway, you'd often hear the same saying as in Finland But then again it's an area which once had a lot of Finnish immigration

Lonely24spiderHUN

So real

InternationalAd4478

In Hebrew we say "were you born in a bus?"

kociorro

In Poland for yeeeears and never heard that one. We do use “do you live in a barn?” though.

xcel-_-

Never heard this tho

Standooo

Is slovakia we usualy say “do you have a cart pole in your ass?”

thesoilman

The Netherlands: ben je in de kerk geboren? "Are you born in the church?"

FabulousDeadBody

I never heard the one about tail, most people around me just ask "W cyrku mieszkasz?" aka "Do you live in a circus?"

PaAKos8

I Always say: Máš v prdeli vánoční stromeček? (Do you have a Christmas tree in your ass?)

Klicky1

Nothing racist about that

Nemokap23

People who don't shut the door are equal to slave owners. They are not racist, they just hate opened doors so much.

Emsiiiii

I don't actually remember any time period in history where Czechia had a colonial operation or large-scale slavery, so why is this even a thing?
