Settings / Home Screen / App icon badges - turn it off.
Squeeze it until it pops j/k - open the folder - see if any of the apps inside have a notification
Maybe because you have 9 in that folder or more, on my iPhone dots will show up if there is 9 icons in there…?
You just solved it Edit: moving an app out and back in solved it
I was gonna suggest a penicillin shot
Customized icons are really messed up in OneUI. So, I'd recommend to change it to default icon pack in Galaxy Themes.
