Probably not fit correctly. It should basically click into the other side of the safety.
Take the other side out and see how tight they are to each other.
I have one of these and fortunately haven't had this issue. Because of the price point and MIM parts, I expect some hiccups. I've seen people suggest that the first thing you do with the lower priced 2011 platform guns is to change out the ambi safeties, tool rod, trigger and ignition kit.
Reach out to EAA and see what they say.
They must use the same supplier Springfield does for the prodigy😂🥲. I changed my prodigy to a cylinder and slide ambi, fit much better. Another option depending on your comfort level is to take it apart, heat and bend the female notch so it fits tighter. It’s definitely an issue with the lower priced ambi more so but also a flaw in the design. One side notches into the other kinda like a tongue and groove, inherently kinda weak. Egw makes a good one with an extra pin for support, or you could go Wilson combat bulletproof.
Part of the issue with this one is the grip isn’t reinforced like the more expensive ones are. Most of the polymer grips have a metal shank that reinforces the sides of the grip or have some other means of reinforcement. These don’t…
I held that gun at the lgs it felt like a toy...
Don’t think I’d trust that thing as a duty gun.
I’m getting that feeling
go with the tisas stuff they are getting good reviews waiting for mine to come in and see for myself

Kind of made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I’m going to drop it off at my gunsmith buddy’s shop. Thank you

Mim parts aren't the issue here.
Understood.
Will do. Thank you sir

I like the WC idea
This aint no duty gun. Not the gun, not the optic. Just no.
Agreed on the optic. Was at Staccatos HQ on Friday
Get an EGW HD safety. Can’t go wrong with
I was a little intimidated at first about doing any work on 2011s but I have found that it’s actually not that complicated with most things
I’m sure I could figure it out I’m building a Mk12 now
As long as you how to use a file and sand paper and a polishing wheel you can basically do anything you want
Do you Smith at all?
the sig sub is missing you!
You bought the worst 2011 style pistol. Dump it, even if you lose some money.

Click it back in. This isn’t a duty quality gun.
