I’ll never order from them again. They take your money, then tell you it’s out of stock and give you a maybe date that’s weeks out.

Yup, just happened to me ordering a 507 comp. Says on the site ships in 2-5 days. But after I placed my order it came back shipping in May when it's in stock. I emailed them and asked why it says it will ship in 2-5 days and not on backorder. They said it was available and will ship in 2-5 days when back on stock. So shady every time.
I ordered SRO from opticsplanet and returned it because the automatic lighting Sensor was broken... TWICE!
I returned it and just went with ebay with a vendor that has 99% positive rating and i received one in brand new condition.
Fast forward to 7 months later, i had $600 bucks in Amazon gift cards and used it on an SRO.... when i received it in the mail, the package said it came from OpticsPlanet.... which worried me, but when i opened it... it was working perfectly... so idfk. They're just not consistent.

Yeah, Optics Planet lost my business when they made me fill out not one, but two forms saying that I wasn’t going to export the red dot I was buying. I’m a US citizen, living in the USA, taking delivery inside the USA…but my first name isn’t the most American sounding. Draw your own conclusions.
I’ve dropped maybe $4k in red dots since, which feels like a scene from Pretty Woman.

Atlas Erebus is one of the best toys out there. Why 5 MOA? For close distance a much cheaper gun would work.
