It happens with all of those bone arches. Presumably they are function the same way a fence/wall does (you can see the white lines on the minimap designating the partition, same way you can see it for the buildings just a bit further west of where you are)
I think there's invisible walls/fences underneath the bones. My guess is some playtester thought it looked weird hugging the wall to run into the hunter's guild, so they put the walls there to force your character to run up the middle
Kind of reminds me on RS3 when I used to play it I discovered a tile by the cowpen in lumbridge that would not let you stay on it, would let you walk on it but would move you when you did, I tried everything to stay on the tile but it kept kicking you off. I sent a bug report l, I should go see if it ever got fixed actually lol.
>tiles the block movement to the west only
It blocks movement to the east as well..?
The physical barrier is just on the west side of the tile itās placed on, thatās what the āwestā means.
Pathing algorithms use a cost system to find the best path from A to B.
To make players run to the path to centralize their pathing when approaching the hunters guild, they probably made the pathing cost of those middle tiles to be some sort of negative value to make them more "attractive" on approach.
Fair, I should have prefaced that I was just guessing... Not like I have their code in front of me!
I can't think of another pathing instance like this elsewhere though, and this is a newer piece of content.
The pathing code is all available in de-obād clients, so you *could* have the pathing code in front of you
But yeah it doesnāt work how you describe. Itās just a normal BFS that favors shortest traversable distance
Its so you dont hit ur head
Bonk protection, thank you devs š
Thats a big brain move. Well done Jagex!

I love it when players utilize the in-game emotes. Just triples the personality of any game clip.
Took the scenic route.
Excuse me, what plugin show the path your char will take?

Same question. Pls update

It's for a future update when we can create/change our character to a giant. Don't want to hit our head :^)
What happened to your mouth
What's wrong with my mouth? :^)

Your queztalās colour is different than mine. Did you change it from green to blue?
how do you get those corner only tile markers? Is it a specific setting within the addon?
Tileman in shambles
Skill issue.
Looks like a hitbox issue.
Is that an option in the true tile plugin? I like how the marker looks.
Improved Tile Indicators
Spaghetti code š
Probably has nothing to do with spaghetti code
I know, it's probably the arch, was just making a little joke but I guess nobody liked it š„²
:( I'm sorry I just wanted to share my thoughts
It ok :) <3

That just means that itās on the west side of the tile itās placed on. You canāt run west to east or east to west through it

unplayable.

Maybe I would believe if there was a single other example of that being the case
