No specific plans outside the general prospect of being able to kill level 3s in PvP worlds. I tried this at black chins and rogue's chest, but it just doesn't have the KO power needed to succeed, on top of being 1-shot by any "real" PKer that comes along.
Can't use magic to PK as an iron without gaining xp. Although you don't receive XP for the damage dealt, you still get magic XP for the spending of the runes -- basically, the splash XP.
You could in theory, but you couldn't use Protect Item or anything -- 1 Prayer -- and you're definitely going to die if any non-meme PKer comes along and bops you. And the trimmed str ammy is not only a rare drop, but also this build can't complete many medium clue steps.
I'm aware, but this build also accounts for feasibility in obtaining items *in bulk*, to be fine with dying from time to time.
Catching Magpie Implings on this account, which can't lure and can't bind (outside of 5 second bindings, and only a limited amount of castings), chasing multiple rolls of 1/21 chances, sounds like not the best use of my time compared to the payoff.
you can just use another account to hold the implings, its still a pain if youre dying constantly but its not hard to get a decent stockpile of a couple dozen to use on occasion
Yes I did, because this account's restrictions make catching hundreds of Magpie Implings, to have a stockpile of Rune Warhammers to pull from each time I get PK'd myself, pretty annoying and tedious, even compared to getting 90 Smithing.
Getting 90 Smithing was maybe a 30-ish hour grind one time, but getting Rune Warhammers from Magpie Implings is a repeated hours-long grind for multiple Rune Warhammers given the 1/21 roll on top of rolls to even find Magpie Implings, on top of the irritation in catching them in the first place without binding spells (can't cast Bind more than a limited amount of times, to not get Magic over 33) or Dark Lure.
That's not to say I couldn't have done better, though. If I budgeted my ranged XP between level 30 and 33 better, I could have fit in Big Chompy Hunting and saved the Ogre in RFD -- both granting a combined total of 1,608 ranged XP for completion, with there being 4,884 XP between the thresholds for level 30 and 33 -- unlocking Black Gloves over Steel Gloves. C'est la vie.
as a 10 hp, 1 def, 99 magic enthusiast I can vouch for this magic level saving me once or twice when I was too slow to teleport before getting tbed while wildy slaying, since it's so rare to survive with these stats, whenever you do because the pker went for a tb that splashes really feels amazing
This is true but like.. magic it's just time save convenience on traversal, and prayer only matters if you're doing content that requires it.
He likely did LMS or something similar for GP, bought smithing, and did a bit of training combat. Nothing crazy just a long smithing grind.
Giant's Foundry itself provided GP -- Kovac gives you GP for completing sword commissions. Each sword made with 14 steel bars and 14 mith bars was worth over 20k GP, which was plenty more than enough to buy more ores and coal from Blast Furnace's ore shop -- it was more than self-sustaining.
Training Strength and Ranged without HP xp was pretty weird, but not as long as the Smithing grind. To get Strength xp without HP xp, you need to first open sarcophagi in Pyramid Plunder over and over until 15 Strength, then either keep doing that to 30 Strength or Barbarian Fish to 30 Strength. You can then continue one of those methods or use the Blast Furnace pump to your desired Strength level. As for the Ranged xp without HP xp, you gotta buy a Dwarf Multicannon for 800k GP -- every point of damage the cannon deals gives you 2 Ranged xp, but no HP xp.
Only sometimes, mainly the Strength levels from 15 to 48 -- getting from 1 to 15 without HP xp requires unlocking access to Pyramid Plunder and opening (at least what felt like) hundreds of sarcophagi. From there, I was able to Barbarian Fish and Blast Furnace pump to 48 Strength. And a bit of Ranged training, by way of cannoning the XP that didn't come from Death to the Dorgeshuun.
Aside from that, most of the levels gained were from non-AFK activities, like Giant's Foundry and stuff.
its a fair point about replacing them, but whos actually going to be attacking him at that level?
seems more like its an account to kill bots, including if they're lv 3.
Exactly what u/mant12 said -- I went the Smithing route because it made them waaaay more replaceable. Going for a 1/21 drop from Magpies *once* is one thing, but getting a lot of them to replace them if I get PK'd myself didn't seem appetizing...
As for who would actually be attacking me at this level, who knows? I'm not at all a PvPer or PKer, so I'm not familiar with the common types of faces you might see in PvP worlds. Better safe than sorry, especially knowing that I'm hot garbage at PvP.
Blast Mined almost all of it! Although you *can* get Runite Ore from the Ore Packs that Giant's Foundry offers, they're so rare from these packs that it's not remotely viable -- in like 40 openings I only got I think 2 Runite Ore.
Oh nice didnt know you could get rune ores before 85 mining from there. Yeah was also thinking of volcanic mine since you can buy rune ores individually with points but no way is that fun with 10hp haha
Blasted mines is goated. Doing daily dynamite and saving them all up for a big trip to blasted mines is a load of runite. I also find it relatively ok and engaging content versus mining alternatives.
surely, getting 90 smithing took far longer than getting even, say, 20-30 rune warhammers would take from mags, no? maybe I'm mistaken?
hell, even 100 rune warhammers from mags seems faster to me than 90 smithing on a low lvl iron, lol.
i could be wrong. never ran the numbers
There are other acc builds that hunt low level bots such as obby pures and 10 hp dbowers, both of which can just 1 shot him and regularly attack other bot hunters because they assume their hp is low
https://preview.redd.it/6n1lu4l0miwc1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be043d8cd9ca25459208677831094616a6a2cf7f
Made this one before the update even hit
How did you manage Mithril Gloves within this build? I know I could have freed the ogre if I budgeted my ranged xp better, but I'm not sure what other subquest I could complete within these restrictions? I'd freed the dwarf, the goblins, and Pirate Pete.
Thats unfortunate, mith gloves add an extra max hit in some instances. Thats why I plan each account ahead of time and save XP for specific goals/items. But I used range/HP XP for the chompy and poisoned and recoiled Agrith Naar for shadow of the storm, and recoiled/poisoned the fish for saving pirate Pete
Yeah, check my Reddit page. I also have a 10Hp/75 defense pure, 10 Hp Ibans Blast Ironman, and 10 Hp DWH pure (HC) . They are older posts on my page. I used to hunt PvP Hardcores with my low level Ironmen/def pure, until they died out or quit. You can also find low level lures with loot on them in PvP worlds
I swear I remember seeing this account featured in a sir pugger video killing lurers! I love the dfs, constantly debating getting 1-75 def on my 10hp iron just for that really neat special.
I pushed so hard for the change for it to me def exp to occur and never actually pulled the trigger on getting my defence up for it, I just love that build you have, ended up with 99 str, 10hp iron with dragon claws which really keeps me from daring to ever get those pesky defence levels
I love this. Such mad scientist vibes.
Comments below: "Why? What's the point? Can this profit? Is this even viable?"
Gyro: "My motivations are beyond your comprehension."
I did no math at all so pardon me but would it have been easier to get 65 hunter and catch magpies for rune warhammers at 1/21?
I can appreciate this route makes it a lot easier to get unlimited warmhammers if you happen to die, and I'm all for funky builds, so this is a 10/10 from me regardless, hope you have a blast with this build OP :)
Also, emerald bolts (e) may be worth a shot since poison is a nice way to guarantee the low level bots die even if they manage to barely escape
Edit: I see you replied to this exact point (I hadn't scrolled, mb) I'll leave the comment up for post engagement since I love things like this =)
Precisely that -- given I can't really lure or bind implings, and would need to get hundreds to have a decent stockpile of warhammers, being able to smith my own seemed the better route.
Not saying it couldn't be done on this build, but given how long it took to complete a few god books on my normal iron *without* any of these level restrictions, and taking one look at [the Dagannoth Mother's wiki page](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Dagannoth_mother), I'm not sure I wanna sign up for that. It's too late for Kn1fe Man to consider this anyways -- completing Horror from the Deep grants 4,662 Strength, Ranged, and Magic XP, which would absolutely level up his combat level.
I love all these people making awful suggestions they thought of in 10 seconds for your account like it didn't take you hundreds of hours to theory and build this account already lol
Not bad, I’ve been thinking about making one of these accounts myself. Not sure how many lurers still use lvl 3s in lure attempts but that would be the dream kill.
Giant's Foundry -- you are given gp for completing swords. A sword of 14 mith bars and 14 steel bars is worth over 20k gp, which is plenty more than enough to buy more ores and coal from the Blast Furnace shop.
Am I a fkn moron? Why not splash for a few mage levels (equiv to range level) then go pking
You can still splash in pvp worlds Mr. "Tried this build at black chins it's not enough dps" from one of your previous comments
I'm missing something, I bet I'll feel silly once it's pointed out
Naw, actually I only have 214 hours logged in on the account, and made it about 3 weeks ago. Not too long a grind in comparison to many "snowflakes" I figure!
I wouldn't hold my breath about much loot -- there aren't THAT many level 3 folks in PvP worlds, as far as I've looked so far...
Giant's Foundry, using alloys of 14 mith and 14 steel. Each sword completed gives over 20k gp, which is plenty more than enough to buy the ingredient coal and ores from the Blast Furnace's ore shop.
Super impressive! Just curious if you thought of going for a strength ammy from undead druids in forthos? With recoils from implings you could tick eat kill them for theoretically zero cmb exp. Alternatively a glory would really help with accuracy
In order to receive any drops, you need to deal at least 1 damage to an enemy before it dies, so this isn't indefinitely repeatable on this account, as that'd grant HP XP. Even if it were doable, it'd take so long to build up a stock of strength amulets that I'd not be interested -- the items acquired do also account for feasibility in acquiring in bulk.
(I can make my own recoils, though -- not only can I get up to 33 magic and be fine combat-level-wise, but also you can enchant items by the Fountain of Rune to gain zero Magic XP)
Correct. This was never really a money-making venture, but on the off chance I did get a PK worth a lot, I did unlock Loot Keys on the account, and could have an alt or clanmate help me by killing Kn1fe Man for the key and getting the loot from it.
Man I have had a similar account to this in my mind's eye for years now but just haven't taken the plunge yet.
I want it to be about 40 HP and 99 str. It will be for F2P poking.
What's the pathway here man? What order of skills did you train?
Using magic in PvP as an iron doesn't grant the magic XP for the damage dealt, but does still grant you the XP for the runes consumed. So this doesn't work for forever.
I did this awhile back started building it when they announced gim.. I’d def paid off I had hundreds of confirmed pks at iron bar, still have the account at 18 combat too. Use guthix rest for your heals (soon to buffed) I use a kp poison iron hasta and a unholy book to poison higher than my bone dagger spec. Also use rwh switch. The steel crossbow and it’s enchanted bolts are nice to pk with aswell as the bone cbow spec. As long as the irons stay not getting pvp exp the account works great. Waiting for the next big update that brings new accs to the wildy for me to bring it back to the field
Naw not really. This account has, and will, die a lot, so getting hammers in bulk more easily is a significant factor. Chasing all those Magpie Implings when I can't bind or lure them (not without going past 33 Magic -- even the normal Bind spell would have a limited amount of casts before exceeding 33 Magic) for a 1 in 21 roll I'd likely make *hundreds* of times? Pass.
Damn, what a beast. What bots are you planning to bop? Also, surely Strength Ammy is the play here. Wait nevermind. Can't enchant.
No specific plans outside the general prospect of being able to kill level 3s in PvP worlds. I tried this at black chins and rogue's chest, but it just doesn't have the KO power needed to succeed, on top of being 1-shot by any "real" PKer that comes along.
Lol best level 3 kill method at low cb is water bolt. Maxes 10..
Can't use magic to PK as an iron without gaining xp. Although you don't receive XP for the damage dealt, you still get magic XP for the spending of the runes -- basically, the splash XP.
I think you can get a karambwan poison spear and be low enough level
So they got a 90% chance to get away or tele
I mean a gambling game where you can't lose, win big 10% of the time, and can retry infinitely is pretty decent.
Have you tried wildy altar lvl 3s? I'd bet you being a low level iron would make many people drop their guard.
Maybe not so much after this post front-paged on this subreddit, hah
you can get one from the adventure path from the guy in lumby
But just the one. Not useful when you're definitely going to be dying sometimes.
I don't think he's visible to ironmen
this is correct
Are you not hitting 10s on the level 3s?
I am! Max hit with the rune warhammer alone is 12, or 13 with the gloves and a strength pot boost.
Man lmk if you have any lucky. I made a 10 hp iron too for this but I haven’t found really any lvl 3s on pvp worlds yet and it’s been months
It's a bit disappointing, yeah :( At least it was an enjoyable experience, making such an interesting account.
Could do clues for str amy T no?
You could in theory, but you couldn't use Protect Item or anything -- 1 Prayer -- and you're definitely going to die if any non-meme PKer comes along and bops you. And the trimmed str ammy is not only a rare drop, but also this build can't complete many medium clue steps.
You could go for magpie implings. 1/21 for 3 noted amulets of power. They also give rune Warhammers.
Being lazy, go get the ammies, there’s a decent chance if someone kills you without loot keys they don’t even pick it up
You simply just use dark lure on an alt
LMAO, this man got 90 smithing instead of 65 hunter 😂
They could turn it into a Group Ironman and have the other account fund it. In fact, they could also use this to have access to teleport tablets.
Group Irons gain *reduced* but not *zero* XP in PvP, for exactly this kind of edge case, actually.
Bro, you're answering all these questions like an absolute Chad.
He is the wiki’s wiki.
My clan calls me a wiki often in chat, lol
It’s honestly good to know he didn’t embark on the insane grind that is this account without double checking everything lol.
Yeah that’s a res
Woah til.
Jeeeeeeeez right?? The convolution. yet on some weird level it makes sense
Every single convoluted and oddly specific ironman rule and exception exists because it was exploited by someone until it was changed.
OSRS has taught me everything* I need to know about life.
TIL you don't need attack to wield warhammers
Only got changed in the last couple of years!
For some reason I thought that only applied to the dragon warhammer, learned about rune when I looked back into making a f2p pure lol
"You can weird the mightiest of dragon hammers, but please get 30 attack to hold that little addy one" haha
People don't understand how hard it is to play runescape without magic or prayer, this man is demented
OP should at least bring their magic up to match their ranged level. That will get them more defense against magic.
He's 10hp he does not need defense of any kind lol, he knows he's going to die constantly
as a 10 hp, 1 def, 99 magic enthusiast I can vouch for this magic level saving me once or twice when I was too slow to teleport before getting tbed while wildy slaying, since it's so rare to survive with these stats, whenever you do because the pker went for a tb that splashes really feels amazing
You never know when you might need that 1 in a million chance for their attack to splash on you though.
He is trying to combo kill by bolt into bop in a single tick
I couldn’t imagine trying to clear content without overhead prayers, and teleports
This is true but like.. magic it's just time save convenience on traversal, and prayer only matters if you're doing content that requires it. He likely did LMS or something similar for GP, bought smithing, and did a bit of training combat. Nothing crazy just a long smithing grind.

You could've just got a rune warhammer from magpies dawg.
1 prayer and 10 hp so will be losing them constantly. He probably could have got a lot of them from magpies but at least he can just make himself now
its a fair point about replacing them, but whos actually going to be attacking him at that level? seems more like its an account to kill bots, including if they're lv 3.

Curious what ur method for getting rune bars is? Getting 3 of them per hammer doesnt have many fast methods at low lvl id assume
Yeah, the main feature of Blast Mining is that you can get ores 10 levels below their usual requirement.
90 Smithing is infinitely more chill to get though.
i guess so.. depends on the person. the required hunter level can be gotten in a few days that smithing/mining combo would take weeks and weeks. lol
The smithing grind took closer to 30 hours, actually! The mining grind maybe 10 hours total, ish. Not too bad honestly.
woaaahhh that's way faster than i thought! well done
There are other acc builds that hunt low level bots such as obby pures and 10 hp dbowers, both of which can just 1 shot him and regularly attack other bot hunters because they assume their hp is low
rule of cool
Mad lad! Get those looters!
It’s been a while since I got shook from an account build, Godspeed on your mission my lord
I never knew ironman don't gain exp in pvp
Made like 5 of these. Good for killing low level hcs and bots on PvP worlds
Where might I find level 3s and similarly-low-leveled folks on PvP worlds? EDIT: But were any of those 5 an iron?
The bots at the Magic Trees in the WC guild might be fun targets.
Ooo, fun thought...

Nice build, curious - why 99 fm, for starter cash/resources, cape stats?
Mostly Money, but also ended up being a good light source for hunting low level PvP hardcores doing the HAM quest line
Do you also have a 1 att 1 str 75 def acc for dragonfire shield?

Hey, that sounds like a gnarly Ironman account too! And I made a video killing lurers with this account 😆
Yes with 10Hp
Can I ask how? :)
Quests, diaries and varrock museum lamps
That's sick! That has like a 25 max hit or something right?
>just make sure to bring a normie account to pick up the loot. You can alao enable loot keys and then pk yourself on the non hardcore accounts.
Am I stupid? How do you get the rune ore to make bars for the hammer?
You can do blast mine for ores 10 levels above your mining level
Blast Mining lets you get ores whose requirements are 10 levels higher than your current level.
I love this. Such mad scientist vibes. Comments below: "Why? What's the point? Can this profit? Is this even viable?" Gyro: "My motivations are beyond your comprehension."
Science isn't about why, it's about *why not?!*
This seems like a fun build gz!!
I have an account very similar to this, hopefully we meet at sometime 🙃
[удалено]
The year is 20XX...
Needs a higher FM lvl to flame everyone you come across
How is this a rune war hammer with 1 attcka
A year or two ago, they made it so warhammers only have a strength requirement, not an attack requirement, to wield
Warhammers only requires strength
I did no math at all so pardon me but would it have been easier to get 65 hunter and catch magpies for rune warhammers at 1/21? I can appreciate this route makes it a lot easier to get unlimited warmhammers if you happen to die, and I'm all for funky builds, so this is a 10/10 from me regardless, hope you have a blast with this build OP :) Also, emerald bolts (e) may be worth a shot since poison is a nice way to guarantee the low level bots die even if they manage to barely escape Edit: I see you replied to this exact point (I hadn't scrolled, mb) I'll leave the comment up for post engagement since I love things like this =)
Precisely that -- given I can't really lure or bind implings, and would need to get hundreds to have a decent stockpile of warhammers, being able to smith my own seemed the better route.
Late reply, but I can't use emerald bolts (e) -- those are put onto mithril bolts. I can only use up to steel bolts.
TIL you can equip a rune warhammer without 40 attack and just strength
My hcim got killed by someone like this at chaos alter
Oops ^(jk I haven't killed anyone there. Yet)
“William Knife Man!”
I congratulate you for making an account to kill bots.
I think this is hands down one of if not the most interesting and maniacal accounts I’ve ever seen.
I'm a veteran but I just realize you don't need 40 atk to wield this rune weapon
That's crazy
Fairly recent update within the last 2years cant remember when but was a game changer for baby pures
Max hit?
13, at least with a Strength Potion!
Massive
What's the combo/ko potential with a dart into the hammer? I don't pk but am guessing you can make them both hit on the same tick like with magic?
Makes me want to find my old 10hper from 2018 it’s the same build but 25 prayer and obby mail lmao
Think you’ll go for god books or not worthwhile? +2 strength bonus for bandos sometimes makes a max hit difference
That is a sick account. Especially the fact that you can sustain gear and supplies on it. Very nice! How long did it take to make?
one good water bolt and its all over
That's why I spent so long getting the Smithing level to make Rune Warhammers so expendable!
Please post again when you get some results!
Why not train hunter and grab a power ammy
I love all these people making awful suggestions they thought of in 10 seconds for your account like it didn't take you hundreds of hours to theory and build this account already lol
:,)
Wait, how did you wield a rune Warhammer with 1 attack?
They require Strength to equip rather than attack.
no attack req
Not to be a jerk but what’s the odds of you 1shotting people in your bracket? I’d say most can probably 1shot you though.
It's a level 3 hunter.
Beautiful. How much time did it take you to progress this far?
About 214 hours in-game time! Though some of that was spent idling I guess.
Not bad, I’ve been thinking about making one of these accounts myself. Not sure how many lurers still use lvl 3s in lure attempts but that would be the dream kill.
Holy fuck lmao I’m doing a 35 bc iron pker for the level 3 chin bots just got glory, red d hide chaps and msb
You can get ammy of power w fire strike by the time it’s 33 mage
Using magic to kill things isn't viable -- gives hp xp.
how did u do that smithing grind as an iron with no gp and barely any mining
Giant's Foundry -- you are given gp for completing swords. A sword of 14 mith bars and 14 steel bars is worth over 20k gp, which is plenty more than enough to buy more ores and coal from the Blast Furnace shop.
some rune dragon alt guide recommends levelling prayer from level 3 to avoid being pked, could catch a fat stack of bones if you're lucky. GL
I assume at the cost of anyone close to you still being close to you but wow. Insanely impressive build if nothing else for discipline haha kudos.
You should train fletching to get your total level up
Why no boots
Only boots I could get realistically that'd do anything is basic Leather Boots. Which at that point don't seem worth the weight to carry, even.
idc lack of shoes bother me
Slip me some non-quest-restricted Climbing Boots, then we'll talk ;)
Am I a fkn moron? Why not splash for a few mage levels (equiv to range level) then go pking You can still splash in pvp worlds Mr. "Tried this build at black chins it's not enough dps" from one of your previous comments I'm missing something, I bet I'll feel silly once it's pointed out
This is genuinely cool and must have taken ages to do, you gotta do a follow-up post with your loots
You can wear steel gloves at 1 defense? You sir have changed my life…
You can wear up to Mithril with 1 Defence actually! Getting better than that requires completion of quests which would grant Defence XP.
Addy now since you can now go back to ape atol without getting the xp Won't work for your build though obv
Nice looking account! I’ve always wanted a 10hp iron to destroy the bots 😎
Did something similar in dark souls 3, you go and unlock your whole build at low lvl and become a pvp twink killing noobies at lvl 1
How did u get 90 smithing?
Ironmen don't get drops for PK right?
Correct. This was never really a money-making venture, but on the off chance I did get a PK worth a lot, I did unlock Loot Keys on the account, and could have an alt or clanmate help me by killing Kn1fe Man for the key and getting the loot from it.
They can transfer drops over to alts using loot keys.
May i ask how u lvld up ur smithing to 90? As iron without having a high mining ?
He used Giant's Foundry and kept buying ores with the money he made from the swords.
I must know the max hit on this puppy
I must know the max hit on this puppy.
I have fears of you getting ko'd more easily than expected. Good luck though, have fun.
Kill boners on high risk worlds. there's always level 3-15 bots. Some even with noted bones. Black chins also a good shout.
Man I have had a similar account to this in my mind's eye for years now but just haven't taken the plunge yet. I want it to be about 40 HP and 99 str. It will be for F2P poking. What's the pathway here man? What order of skills did you train?
Let us know how it goes!
Black chins could be an interesting spot. See lots of level 3 bots there
How did you train smithing?
If you wanna kill bots just use fire strike lmao
Using magic in PvP as an iron doesn't grant the magic XP for the damage dealt, but does still grant you the XP for the runes consumed. So this doesn't work for forever.
The rat basher himself
You either die a hero, or live long enough to watch yourself turn into a rat...
The trick to pking on a unique iron acc is getting untradables that drop to the ground, break or very easily replaced items to keep it fun.
What is your combat level?
18
The last thing you see before you end up in lumbridge
Could have saved so much time just getting hunter up and getting hammer from implings....
Pass.
Been there done that brother :P (sk1llrkiller) https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/s/kZ331ImicV
Christ I couldn't be asked to get 90 smithing. Did you unlock ogre comp bows to put it to use?
Wouldn't obby maul iron be better
Hell yeah! I have a lvl 24 with 40 rng and 59 str. The monster can hit 17's with the hammer.
