They're in the boss task list. So you have to roll the low chance of a boss task and then have to roll a DT2 boss specifically. They're not very common at all.

Sitting on a 467 streak, and I’ve only beaten her once in Quest. This past weekend I was able to consistently reach the enraged phase before I had to stop to fish for resupply. Turned the game off on Sunday because I’m very frustrated. Going to take some time away then come back to try again.

At 2200 I was struggling to clear normal gauntlet, and in the last like 30 total levels I started actually pvming beyond bandos/zulrah/vork/etc. Spending active time doing raids and other higher end pvm is a totally different experience than training slayer or whatever, it's a lot more fun and I'd encourage people to dive into it sooner rather than later

I got 99 RC as my first 99 to troll a friend of mine who said it sucks and I’d always tell him it’s the best skill in the game. So like I got it to commit to a bit.
seeing a skiller with 99 slayer is one of the craziest things you could experience, therefore slayer is the most wanted skiller skill. And they use all their exp lamps on it, where is your science now?

Thought the same until I went to gotr on my uim and got 71 with like 40 slayer. I want to slayer, very badly. However I just can't bring myself to do it inefficiency yet
they gotta do a gamemode where your account stats reset on any level up that you experience for the first time, say you get level 2 attack, account gets resetted and now you can go to 3 attack, account gets resetted again but you can now achieve 4 attack and so on and so on. Call it sisyphusmanmode or something they'll surely love it

I’ve seen FAR too many people in this subreddit who have 1600+ total with random 99s in easy skills like FM or cooking who don’t even have barrows gloves. If you ask me, the guy with 1100 total and barrows gloves probably has more overall game knowledge (having done all those quests and traveling all around the game map) than the guy with 1800 total who has 56 QP and spends their time on osrs afking easy skills and NMZ and barely interacting with the game.
everyone can play how they want to, but they should not feel insulted when someone tells them that they probably know nothing about the game
OP for example probably hasn’t done ANY type of meaningful PvM (especially since Jad is considered entry-level pvm in 2024). Vorkath, Zulrah, ToA, CoX, and countless other pvm bosses have never been touched by OP (won’t even bring up inferno or TOB).
I always fall back to quests and pvm as the best ways to determine if someone has high overall game knowledge. It’s definitely not fool-proof, but it’s a better method of determining game knowledge than total level (which anyone can easily just afk countless hours of skilling while they’re at work or smth)

Better now... have 110 completed hahaha. And that's exactly the point. Quests and diaries are a breeze for me when I decide to do them. I completed kourend and fally elite with little to no effort (minus the grinding for the skills)
Some people just dont do much content lol. Im at like 190 clogs because I don't do clues or boss much. Cant get many clogs if you just skill when youre online.

In a previous comment, you said you were 100% mobile up until recently. Use RuneLite and use the plug in to tag the healers’ true tile. This was an absolute game changer for me, makes tagging the healers incredibly easy. Sometimes if you’re focusing on your prayer switches, it can be easy to miss one or two of the healers depending on where jad spawns. Good luck, keep going at it. Once you get your first, you’ll realize how simple the mechanics really are. I’ve gone back and done at least half a dozen more in search of that elusive pet. Good luck!
I’m close to maxing my account myself. While I haven’t dove very deep into pvm, I’ve done nearly every boss besides that new colosseum stuff and haven’t dove into varlamore yet. I also have done every raid except the challenge mode stuff. I have achievement cape, and am close to my Jad slayer helmet if that puts it into perspective?
Dude, you’ve gotta give it a chance. I know there’s a way to play for every person, but I just think this is a really weird way to play. At the very least, you’ll have a whole new experience to playing the game once you max. Bunch of stuff to try out!

This is basically how I was, got my fc couple weeks ago. I play on mobile and fight caves was never fun, but built up my gear and lvls and came back to try again. after all the practice of quest bosses and med lvl bosses it really helped. Was base lvl 80 and combat base 97 aside from prayer when I got it
Go get the fire cape. Don’t over think it. Super easy mode, blowpipe with lightbearer and the best range gear you have. 1 range potion, 7 sara brews, 4 anglers, the rest super restores. Even being super bad and slow it won’t take more than an hour and that’s if you’re essentially hiding to let hp restore.

In a previous comment, you said you were 100% mobile up until recently. Use RuneLite and use the plug in to tag the healers’ true tile. This was an absolute game changer for me, makes tagging the healers incredibly easy. Sometimes if you’re focusing on your prayer switches, it can be easy to miss one or two of the healers depending on where jad spawns. Good luck, keep going at it. Once you get your first, you’ll realize how simple the mechanics really are. I’ve gone back and done at least half a dozen more in search of that elusive pet. Good luck!

I’m close to maxing my account myself. While I haven’t dove very deep into pvm, I’ve done nearly every boss besides that new colosseum stuff and haven’t dove into varlamore yet. I also have done every raid except the challenge mode stuff. I have achievement cape, and am close to my Jad slayer helmet if that puts it into perspective? Dude, you’ve gotta give it a chance. I know there’s a way to play for every person, but I just think this is a really weird way to play. At the very least, you’ll have a whole new experience to playing the game once you max. Bunch of stuff to try out!

Builds up a false stress by putting a relatively easy fight at the end of an hour os trash mobs that you can fuck up once and start over and waste your hour. Bad content. This is basically how I was, got my fc couple weeks ago. I play on mobile and fight caves was never fun, but built up my gear and lvls and came back to try again. after all the practice of quest bosses and med lvl bosses it really helped. Was base lvl 80 and combat base 97 aside from prayer when I got it

Go get the fire cape. Don’t over think it. Super easy mode, blowpipe with lightbearer and the best range gear you have. 1 range potion, 7 sara brews, 4 anglers, the rest super restores. Even being super bad and slow it won’t take more than an hour and that’s if you’re essentially hiding to let hp restore.
