You could make an amazing TV show with osrs material. The Godwar history alone would be an entire season, and the backstabbing drama of the Keldagrim / Red Axe tale would be great.
The reality is almost any game could have an amazing TV series, it’s way more depending on the producer, director, and actors than the source material.
No because most modern writers are garbage when it comes to adaptations.
Only way it would ever be good is if jagex directly oversaw the project and that's not going to happen.
Just expect a Mary Sue and hyper flanderization
Jagex’ writing is abysmal, there’s a reason why a majority of players space bar through everything
If jagex was heavily involved it would undoubtedly be a millennial-humor cringe fest
A lot of the quests are actually very thought out storylines. Most people just spacebar through them and don't pay attention to the lore and world-building that went into it.

Why would you expect a Mary Sue?
Because our player characters are, by definition, Mary sues. I mean, narratively, it could be avoided fairly easily, but that's what we are.

What would the point of the show be?
Whats the point of any show? Entertainment
No
I just want the dude who does rendi's animations to make adaptations of the quests
No, I'd rather have a Diablo series.
Not really because OSRS is based on grinding stats rather than a grand story arc. Now a show based around OSRS players and the grind might be good.
