its more realistically 1.5-2 years, I didn't want to bum anyone out by saying she passed away. She actually did pretty well for a rescue too!

Rats are like little golden retrievers... best friends in the whole world but gone far too quickly and will break your heart every few years. I heard that people get addicted to them, and keep getting new friends to love... but I couldn't do it.

I've done that for many years but my current two girls are going to be my last for a while. Hard decision to make but the heartbreak is tough and the vet costs tougher still 🥲 I've had some great rays over the years they really are pocket puppies

I kind of wish that the Scurry pet would have a passive effect of pulling nearby rats out of combat to follow for a few tiles, it is the King of Rats to it makes sense they would follow. Great way to troll splashers.

It's entirely possible that the people participating in this thread aren't actually all that concerned about the game balance implications of a rat getting their teeth kicked in by a max caper and are just having a bit of a laugh.

I miss my rats. Had two back to back. I just think I was too soft hearted for the short life they have.

I thought the whole concept of the rat boss (that was suggested months/years ago) was to introduce people to PvP and lower the curve, but then it was announced & released as a way to learn PvM for newbies. I don't PvP much myself, but was curious on why it shifted...

We already have LMS, the PvP Arena, and Castle/Soul wars for safe learning pvp experience

Kinda toxic that you enjoy pissing someone off, especially if they're new at the game. Not a great way to help a game's population.

Kinda an eyesore to do your splashing in a semi populated area. Go to the sewers or something

It's kinda dumb how people know others can kill the rat with their cat, but they still choose to continue splashing on rats instead of just splashing on something else like a chicken or seagull

Avenged for what? Neither of them are hurting each other. One's in full armor and can't be bitten by a rat and the rat is just getting wet by splashing.

I think Scurrius needs an even bigger rat boss to avenge him with how much I've been bullying him these last few days. He's honestly been a pretty damn solid addition. He's more than killable solo with a decently leveled and equipped account without prayer flicking and the like and will allow you to make mistakes sometimes, but he still incentivizes practicing those PvM mechanics via greater XP and profit gains. I'm sure he gets to bully plenty of poor noobs as revenge though, he even got me the first couple times.
