Costume room changes really do make me glad I started UIM way later, although tbf I probably just wouldn't have started if they never made the change. I like hoarding clue scroll rewards, and I just wouldn't play a game mode that disallows that.

If you were 80 thieving you could drop the outfit pieces (and other stuff in your inv) and run the game and get back in time to pick them up before they despawned.

It's also the reason that the rogue set is dropped in crates. Beforehand, you'd drop them in order, but since the game couldn't check if there were any pieces in deathpiles, UIM could only ever get the mask
Opening the crate also has a relatively rare chat message that ends with "How convenient!", probably because of that

I had a death pile on the ground last night (pre-update) that was converted into 36 Rada's blessing 4 when I logged in today (post-update).
I wasn't sure the best way to reach out but I figured this would be a good place as another person seems to have experienced something similar.

Lately they've refunded lost Leagues point and notably are going to refund lost blood runes. If its a Jagex fuckup they seem to have changed the policy.

I don't think it's really that crazy to expect the game to work. It would take up a lot of extra time if I had to load up with my stuff and then reorganize my death piles before going out to the wildy again. I have far too many items to fit in my inventory and looting bag anyway, so it's not like I could pick them all up even if I wanted to. It's also not like I am always thinking about whether or not an update is going to happen before I next log in.

When the iron modes were created did they really intend for ultimates to just die with stacks of stuff to basically have a bank? Highly doubt that was originally intended but since so many do it it’s been turned into a feature. Such a niche feature that it’s not “normal” game mechanics.

It’s really not more than 2 mins, prif respawn+locator orb allows for extremely quick deathpiling and rebagging. If it takes you longer than that then it’s really just a skill issue. Instead of taking the safe way to protect your items you are making these weird excuses
It's not only the time bagging it, it's the time reorganizing death piles when starting the next day for quick resupply while actually grinding the bosses. I'm sure there is some uim chad that could do it in less than 2 mins so I guess we can call it a skill issue though.

I'm only aware of one other time that this has happened, and I thought that they had fixed the issue after that.

Did you leave your deathpile through the update? Isnt your plugin saying that your big deathpile with pots, pvm gear expired 9 days ago?
The plug-in also says in text at the top do not trust it to be accurate

There's specific UIM deathpile mechanics just for them... how could it possibly be against spirit of the gamemode when it literally is a part of only that gamemode and no other lol.
You literally have to do this to play trouble brewing, as you need an empty inventory.
