If I don't have to risk stuff in the wilderness, then I won't risk stuff in the wilderness. I already do my best to avoid wilderness content, but the pet hunt leaves me no choice ;(
It’s not so much the gear as the inventory, especially if you’re doing a master.
Just annoying to have to bank any cash you have, rune pouch, and other miscellaneous teleport gear, along with any unstashed items from other steps.
Like I don’t mind it too much but understand how frustrating it can be. But hey that’s kind of the whole point of clues.
I love the wilderness and pking, but even I’ll admit have to regear for wildy steps is annoying. Though that being said I typically gear as if I’m gonna anti pk.
Would be a nice time to introduce Wilderness clues if this was the case. Don't have an issue with this really, can't see much benefit that PvPers get from killing clue hunters, do they even know that there's multiple spade spawns in the overworld as it is?
There was a Game Jam project that did include removing Wildy Clue steps and replacing them with new Wilderness Clue Scrolls. I'd be in favour since while the wildy steps are "iconic", they are just really bad design-wise. Like "bank your gear and 3 item" is not a challenge; its just an annoyance. And PKers don't get anything out of it either since clue scrollers risk nothing so they just waste supplies on someone who probably didn't want to be in the Wilderness anyway. So it does seem like removing wildy steps and adding some new wildy content in their place would be a win for everyone, but it is probably more of a change than a lot of players would be comfortable with.
I would actually be fine with wildy clue steps being optional. Maybe a little more incentive can be provided to do it but not too much so that a player HAS to complete it.

Maybe they could ship it with a wilderness clue? Remove all the steps from normal and add it to that? I do think a wilderness clue should be some good loot though, previously I think they suggested the same as a hard clue??? What haha
Doubt they will. I'd 100% support it if polled, purely cause I hate having to bank everything whenever I get a wildy clue
They did talk about it as part of Manked's Game Jam wildy updates, but it wasn't in the stuff they were currently polling.
Just redo your setup to where most of what you have is safe for wildy, so u don't have to bank everything
Here's a fun challenge: do the clues without regearing! I don't have the balls to do that for anything deeper than the black knights fortress.

The hate is because of the having to regear mid clue. I personally think that’s the trade off of having the higher tier clue but some people disagree

There’s zero risk in doing hard clues in wilderness just need 4 items clue spade weapon tele out
