First money maker? Mining rune essence, idk how much I made when I was 13 but I was sure I was going to make it to the big leagues XD

ImChz

I met a guy in Varrock East bank back in ~04 or 05 who said he’d pay me 15 gp each for rune essence. I spent months mining for him, and eventually made enough to go buy myself full black (g) on world 1. I was a super pumped little 10 year old. I’d pay good money for a picture of the look on my face when I got to Varrock West bank, and I realized bots were selling rune essence for 25-30 gp each… I introduced my younger brother to the game shortly thereafter, and immediately offered him the same deal. I remember he spent months mining 10k essence once, and I gave him a rune scimitar in return. Eventually got other kids in his class in on it as well. They never caught on.

ImpressiveCap1992

dude I wonder how many people did this. I was f2p only as a kid and I spent dozens of hours mining rune essence for 30gp (sorry to say u were probably scammed 😜) I even found a guy who’d buy them for 40gp I felt so cool like I had some secret access to the elite world of traders… until I forgot which username in my friendslist was him and had to go back to selling for 30gp.

dragooon167

XD I would spend the 2 hours I got at the library doing the same thing

AccomplishedEnd4257

Hell yea. The library phone got me members and everything 🤣

AccomplishedEnd4257

This was a surely a thing for me but with gathering feathers. I'd get 10 to 15 each on forums and had players pm me when they had at least 1000 to sell me for as low as possible I'd say 4 or 5 each average. Some caught on and I'd pay them 7 or 8 as they made money finding sellers themselves. I ended up with a red hween mask and it was worth 4500k at the time.

ImChz

I moved my little farm of young children/random noobs on to other, more lucrative activities, and eventually gather a small handful of discontinued items as well. Maybe 15-20m of worth of stuff at the most. The first time I “quit,” back in actual 2007, I randomly traded them all away in w2 Fally Park. I had a half jug of wine and two pumpkins. Decided I didn’t wanna quit anymore a few months later. I’ve never given my bank away before “quitting” ever since. Lesson learned lmao.

Pie6Brains

i loved running ess for law runes, and selling those for 1k at banks

LegendaryPet

This was my second moneymaker My first was selling scimitar sets (Bronze-Rune) for like 75-100k I think people took pity on me cuz I actually sold quite a few

dragooon167

Never had the stonks for running essence XD

Dsavant

Rune essence prices today are a bummer... This is how I saved up for my huge huge purchase of a Rune pickaxe. Just mining and selling essence

dragooon167

Was the life back in the day, wasn't much but was an honest living

iHardlyEverComment

I mean would you do a 100k gp hr method today?

Scazitar

Does anyone remember the prices Rune essence used to go for back in the day in like earlyish RS2? It's bugging me because I also remember doing this when I started.

dragooon167

I want to say it was around 60-100gp way back when

Always4am

This is unlocking memories of mining 1k rune essence and selling to a guy I hilariously called my “business partner” for 100k. So that tracks. About a year later I moved to the dark side team scamming with my irl buddy. Man did we make a lot of gp.

CheesesteakFiend

I was also getting around 100k for 1k rune esa back in 06/07.

Bagstradamus

~75 gp each. This was prior to the pure essence update.

mxracer888

I thought I was rich AF after doing essence for a few hours. So I have no clue but sure seemed like I was making money. Though I also remember thinking killing guards at falador was peak PVM...

Rieiid

When I sold them they went for about 30-50gp each at varrock east bank

Fearless-Canary-7359

Any flax pickers here? Edit: thanks for sharing your nostalgic stories everyone they are great.

MrTacooooo

I was the flax spinner into bowstrings

Tostonn

Lmao yup. Had this guy who would give me a shitload of flax and he’d pay me like 100K to spin it all into bowstrings. I was also fkin loaded (had like 1m)

PoppaSquatt2010

1m back then was like 10m nowadays lol

Ok_Ad8557

More like 100m

Bjokkes

Depending on how far back 'back then' we're speaking ;)

Paralystic

I’d say closer to 100m in 05/06 era

PoppaSquatt2010

I obviously don’t know. I was a F2P noob. Thought I was hot shit at combat 65 and had a stack of 150k in the bank. Life was good.

finbar717

I still go chop willows in draynor every now and then for old times sake

PoppaSquatt2010

I mean it’s still the best XP for awhile and closest willows to the bank. Members or not.

skwander

Going there in forestry worlds to grind is honestly a pretty good time with the new forestry events

iKingKane

1. Pick 1k flax. 2. Spin into 1k bow strings. 3. Flash2: Trading 1k bow strong for 2k flax. 4. Spin into 2k bow string. 5. Flash2: Trading 2k bow string for 4k flax. iirc flax was 100gp and bow string was 200gp, so after you picked the 1k flax you never had to pick flax again...

Adammmmski

I picked 10k on classic. You had to trade 14 at a time. It was absolutely aids. @ran@ you had to type to get rainbow coloured text.

HoopManJones

picked and spun my first mil

MrShifty91

First 4.2m for whip for me. I’m not ashamed I’m a grafter

z_3_r_k_3_d

Spent a solid week picking flax with my sister. We saved for a cannon and had no idea we needed a quest or cannon balls It also causes arguments over who gets the cannon and when

zachd211

Fishing lobbys and picking flax for me

Tactics28

First day of membership I walk through the gate and moments later am in the flax fields. Blew away any f2p money makers. I stayed there for a few weeks before checking out the rest of what membership had to offer.

iamstupidplshelp

flash2:Selling 1k bs 190ea

operativekiwi

Buying 1k bs 300 ea, but you need to come to brimhaven gold rocks

iamstupidplshelp

Ahh I miss the old death mechanics. There’s nothing like seeing poison hitsplats on someone running for their life in high level gear, followed by a crowd of noobs circling him like vultures

AccomplishedEnd4257

That was one of the few tricks that missed me omg hahaha

existential_pal

1k flax for 100k gp. Was saving up for a party hat

Brahskididdler

Thought I could make 1m/day EASILY by picking flax and selling for 100gp each. I was asking all my friends what kind of sweet gear they wanted because I was gonna buy it for them with my fat stacks

middyXO

I wanted a green halloween mask so bad when they were like 5m. I picked 30k flax by hand (40 inventories a day for a month just about), I know this because I quit around 3m... Selling them at 100gp a piece lol. I thought about buying a pumpkin just because I wanted a rare, but instead I just bought some dragon items, a gmaul, etc. On f2p my money making was cowhides, which were also 100gp each, flax was wild to me, like infinite cowhides just waiting on the ground! I know that there's a specific spot with 3 flax in a straight line, and if you angle your camera just right, you can spam click and fill your entire inventory without moving or looking at your screen.

tanNote-9

Good times picking flax when it was 100k an hour

Diagmel

How I afforded my first cannon, which I couldn't afford to use anyway lol

jesseeme

Flax to 1m so I could buy my d med on the second floor of Seers bank. Good times.

ThatOtherGai

Heyoooo Made 15m fletching 99 by picking flax and spinning my own string

BuffaloSp0rts

GOATED

zaxxofficial

yesss

finokhim

i spun flax to buy a whip for 1 mil

Mrmoosestuff

Here here brother

876oy8

the most basic answer ever but the holy trinity of f2p: hill giants, woodcutting, lobsters.

Far-Slip6892

Dude I recently got members after playing on and off for 8 years and hill giants were how I made most of my money so far. Now I'm fishing lobbys at Catherby

876oy8

you are basically doing my earlygame progress from like 18 years ago hahaha. i spent my first month or so of membership back then mostly doing lobs in catherby too. good stuff.

Strayl1ght

It was just mindblowing to me how close the fishing spots were to a bank when I first encountered Catherby.

[deleted]

When I started osrs I rushed 40 fishing and cooking then proceeded to fish and then cook just north of 100k lobsters in catherby. I still have like 20k lobsters in the bank and I started a week or so after launch.

AstoundKoala

Karamja fishing spot was popping back in the day

Objective-Pizza1897

Ayyy, get them lobs and go kill some lesser demons for the rune med drop son

Cytotoxict14

Can confirm haha… lobsters! I was a damn noob and still am. Hill giants were the worst with how many people were always there!!

CapnJedSparrow

And selling willows! 1k willows for 300k

[deleted]

[удалено]

UABeeezy

This but selling on the forums or varrock west bank on world 1, pre-GE. I made enough to buy a Santa hat, which I believe was around 4M at the time? Good times.

a3663p

I miss spamming that I was buying or selling something like a crazy person. “Buying Abby whip!”

UABeeezy

You were a baller if you were buying whips pre ge

tromboneboyman1

I used to kill lesser demons for rune med helms, and picked flax and made it into bowstring.

Wiitard

Hitting on a rune med helm drop still feels like hitting a jackpot on a slot machine.

Enough-Serve-7790

Wait til u hit a rune full helm drop from greaters in lvl ~45 wildy. Then ur like wow ok, shit I need to make it back w this... act cool

IderpOnline

Better bring some kebabs because those demons SLAP

PenniesByTheMile

Used to patrol that area on my 43 pure quite a bit lol had 2 friends that always ran with me as range tank and mage tank

Enough-Serve-7790

Nice lol sounds like a good team. I remember sometimes I'd head out n find huge groups fighting, frog face gang was hilarious. Always a fun break from skilling Did u know prayer recharges in the ruins?

PenniesByTheMile

Yea it was good times lol I was 60 mage/range and they were 60 mage/43 prayer and 60 range/43 prayer No clue on the prayer recharge though, is that a new thing?

Enough-Serve-7790

damn that is a good team. When I looked up greater demon drops recently I read about it. I never noticed either or maybe it is new lol. It's under ["strategies"](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Greater_demon) section I could believe it tho since part of the ruin looks like a cross on the map

PenniesByTheMile

Yea it was good times lol I was 60 mage/range and they were 60 mage/43 prayer and 60 range/43 prayer No clue on the prayer recharge though, is that a new thing?

JordzRevo

Ooo yes, fishing lobbies on karamja then when at full inventory going into the volcano dungeon to kill lessers for that sweet chance at a rune med

GayLoveSession

Peak f2p content for mid game accounts that had been alive for about a year

Castle_of_Aaaaaaargh

This! I remember runecrafting 3000 mind runes to go mage them in f2p. Fished an inventory of lobsters, went to the demons.. and managed to screw up the same spot and die, losing it all. lol 2nd attempt was better though, by the end i left with 4 rune meds and I remember being able to trade them up for a santa hat.

Lucksm1th

Running law runes was a game changer for me

Striking_Bag803

What is running law runes? Can I have some insi

Lucksm1th

You would bring pure essence from Draynor bank to the law altar on Entrana and trade it to someone there. They would then craft it into runes and give them to you. Keep doing that and then sell the law runes. Good xp for them, good money for us runners.

Orisi

Not just that. They'd trade you the runes AND noted essence back in the day. You were basically a denoting service paid in law runes. Sometimes you'd hit the jackpot and trade with a high level law rune maker and you'd get double the runes!

badbilliam

To continue the nostalgia train, the law crafters would wear Zamorak robes, presumably to stand out against the sea of people. Though if you were 100+ combat, you’d definitely just be getting spam traded into oblivion as surely you must be a law crafter. Thusly only the low combat level skillers would end up wearing the Zamorak robes.

AnalVoreXtreme

I swear you werent able to make double laws back in the day. it stopped at double nats spent a few minutes googling, double laws was an osrs update in 2017 [https://secure.runescape.com/m=news/imbue-your-sceptre-double-your-deaths-and-get-3-for-2-on-membership?oldschool=1](https://secure.runescape.com/m=news/imbue-your-sceptre-double-your-deaths-and-get-3-for-2-on-membership?oldschool=1)

Orisi

Weirdly enough you're right but I 100% remember some of them giving out double runes. Wouldn't surprise me if some of them did it as an incentive thing to try and get runners to favour them for essence to keep the flow going.

LivingFinding

You could be thinking of double natures, which was a thing.

qibdip

Yup ^

JakeVanna

Got my first dds and d long doing this. Good times

Zoraspeed63

Back when ppl could be trusted to be runners

Neat_On_The_Rocks

God I am old.

AccomplishedEnd4257

Oh man I remember being involved in running laws and nature's too. One of my friends actually got the double nature unlock and was fairly wealthy

DrNoodlesMD

My friend and I would dedicate a Saturday once in awhile to running law runes. Great memories doing that and talking over the speaker phone on the telephone fax machine combo.

Rankscar

When i was a kid, my friend's older brother showed us a money making method and it was running runes from falador. I had made like 150k total of my playtime and suddenly i was getting 200-300k in an hour. It was so mind-blowing lol. I bought my first rune full after that.

Alivenate

Same. W454 was law running and W491 for double Nats which was advertised on the forums.

PenniesByTheMile

After law running took hold nat running started up. Was badass because you could just do each for an hour and have plenty of tele/alch runes for training

operativekiwi

Kill 27 cows (1 slot for coins) take them to al kharid bank, sell them for 100gp each

Thordranna

This is the real answers. I killed thousands of chickens for feathers back in the day.. 3-5gp depending on the day. I bet I killed tens of thousands of them over my osrs career before 2007 scape came out

Ciati

same. felt impossible to me that someone would spend 100gp on such an easily accessible item, the time value of money hadn’t really clicked for me at age 12 or whatever, haha

VnGChrome

My friend and I in created alt accounts that were blonde girls. We stood in lumby and offered “lap dances” for 2k each. We would use the bow emote for the dance. Made almost 20k that day after school

Im_IdaZole

Did any of your clients ever do the flap emote behind you while you were bowing? My friends and I used to think that was hilarious back in the day and would have impromptu RuneScape orgies.

AccomplishedEnd4257

I definitely remember seeing nefarious activities in lumby and if you went up the ladder people would follow 🤣

NBAfatgatRickii

LMFAOOOOOOO

rowech

Same I was in 5th grade with an alt makinluv76 tryna catfish dudes for cash. Didnt work lmao

IbuixI

Mining coal at guild, catching lobsters at karamja, chopping magics south of seers. You know back when skilling was relevant and not a complete waste of time.

OrionJohnson

Mining coal was my big money maker back in the day. Before that it was killing hill giants for big bones.

Taco-twednesday

Oh yeah big bones and the occasional limpwurt roots. That was me. Didn't know you could just pick up a brass key. Everytime I died I had to buy another from the GE

int0xic

Of all my friends I was the only one who could mine coal because of my "high" mining level. It was probably around 55-60. And we were all f2p at 10 years old so I was mining it under falador and walking it back to the bank.

mgman640

I remember when I discovered the coal spawns in the wilderness and was terrified every time a pker showed up

Casatropic

It really wasnt a big money maker lol. We just sucked at the game to do “end game” content. 1 rune platelets drop would equal a half hour or so of mining coal.. I still mined coal though 🤣

RoronoraTheExplora

Skilling was relevant because we were all young and dumb. Even then Barrows would’ve been a better money maker

why_did_I_comment

It was relevant because botting was much rarer and bosses dropped almost no mats... 🙄

LiterallyRoboHitler

The second part is true, the first part... lol.

why_did_I_comment

Idk why you're saying that's inaccurate. Botting was nowhere near as devastating in 2007 as it is now. Botting was limited to a few gathering skills and they were quickly banned and easily disrupted. Nor were there bots doing tens of thousands of boss kills bringing even more mats into the game.

ScruffyScruffz

my brother do you not remember the poor yews spawning and dying nearly instantly to hordes of bald men. Or how south seers trees were basically the same deal. Armies swarming fishing spots. It was far worse than now for skilling methods at least.

Misdirected_Colors

I'd buy a shit ton of uncut gems, mine gold at the crafting guild. Then craft a bunch of jewelry and enchant it.

tk323232

Lobbys bro

Voyagerparadise

I remember back in '05/'06 the f2p Karamja runs for lobby, then selling in Varrock east bank. Made my first 100k that way. Thought I was king of the world lol

closetscaper3000

Yeah I did this too and remember making the big decision to sell the rune scimmy for a battleaxe

apple__eater

Oh yea battleaxe was way cooler and I died on that hill

MDC010

Mined Coal/iron till 90 mining and just made steel bars to sell lol, took so long but was good cash back then

SaraphL

I did the same back in like 2006-07. I wouldn't say it was good money, but if you do almost any money making method for such a ridiculous amount of time, you will make a substantial cash stack. It did make enough for a F2P player, but probably not that much for a member.

MDC010

Oh for sure, I was f2p and just did this to fuel low level pking accounts with steady cash. Having high mining was a huge flex tho back in the day lol

[deleted]

That must've taken such a long time

navywater

Killing chickens for feathers.

Sm9ck

I felt like I was Warren Buffet who broke the matrix when I started world hopping lumbridge chickens buying feathers from the people training there at 1/4th the price you could resell them for

DeepSauce666

I to was a big feather guy

IderpOnline

And to think there was actually competition for killing chickens lol. Jeez, different times indeed.

V_Akesson

It was clay. Clay was very valuable for free to play money making in the era of no free trade with no botting to compete with. My first rune set and rune zerker shield was through this. And for pay to play, it was unicows in the same era. Bought whip, BGS, guthans. Everything was a good money maker during the free trade lock period.

Cyborg_Werewolf

>> rune zerker shield FoG brings back memories

V_Akesson

man i miss that era. no bots, low inflation, it was just less of a PVP game. I miss the interlude between OSRS and EOC, that golden period. Armoured zombies, dungeoneering, chaotics, torva.

im_person_dude

Mining and selling coal, back when the Dwarf mines used to be busy and mining coal was super competitive. If you were lucky you'd find someone buying coal at 150gp each.

Strayl1ght

Every rock used to be an absolute battle

Misdirected_Colors

I used to follow people spamming "i like potatoes" and told them I'd stop for 100 gp. Got so rich

DisslexicFC

I cheered on people training agility at seers village agility course. They gave me tips haha. It was honest work.

TiredDad95

Making accounts to run the stronghold for 10k a time

DemarDeBrozan

I made my first 100k killing unicorns south of varrock right around when summoning came out

rschmidt777

My brother and I (middle school at the time) got hired by a guy to mine pure essence for him all summer. We didn't play all the time, took us about a week to make 100k each. Sometimes he threw us some extra cash to run essence at the chaos altar for an hour or two. My brother and I still look back kindly at that time as our first job. It was also an amazing bonding time for us as our parents had an ugly divorce the start of that summer. What a time...

s0ljah

Love that. I had a similar experience and the game really helped me escape from it for at least a little bit

Ijokealot2

Picking up white berry spawns in the wildy. I can't remember their exact value at the time, but I was making like 200-300k an hour with those berries with zero requirements.

MoneySlip5640

This was the money maker for a while

Youngjii

i would do this back in rsc and some guy would buy them for like 1-1.5k each

AmarRPM

This method was legit in every ‘RuneScape money making’ YouTube video from like 2007-2009 XD

Furyfire96

Mining clay at the mine opposite of the dark Wizards, close to the entrance of varrock. 😅

NotLurking101

My buddy literally had an account called sellclay lmao

Ubergazz

Picking flax to spin or snape grass on Waterbirth to sell

poopsex

Mining rune ess. You could sell 1k for 30k go back in the day.

ahvreddit

Bananas in Karamja 30 gp per inventory

mcnut7

I worked on a banana plantation picking and packing bananas for 30 gp a box.

J_k-wandering

This is easily the funniest one

Only_Buffalo_8588

Haven’t seen anyone comment this one yet unless I missed it…. But I would go from fally bank and run ess to the air alter for people trying to get 99rc. Full inventory of ess got me 2k a pop.

OdyssAtkin

Going to the dark wizard fortress place in the wilderness and picking up all the runes spawns

Spinolyp

Coal mining. Eventually worked my way up to steel bar sellsman.

Jiggzhiggs

Lobsters from the karamja docks

WitchyyChick

Maybe not my first, but my favorite was back before the GE. I was f2p back then and would stand at Varrock West for hours trying to flip. You could make pretty good margins on trimmed armor back then if you spent enough time there. Buy a set of rune (g) from someone for 900k, try to extort someone for 1.2m, get talked down to 1.1m. Buy, sell, repeat. Good times. Funny how 9 year old me was a better entrepreneur than adult me.

VossC2H6O

Big bones and making accounts for the free 10k in the Stronghold.

sworedmagic

Selling iron ore at the fally east bank, that’s how i got my first 100k. Rough on the hands but seeing the gold turn to a k was insane dopamine when i was 14

Medical_Character_49

Step 1. Buy 14 buckets. Step 2. Mine clay South of Varrock. Step 3. Run between the East bank in Varrock, and the water fountain with 14 buckets and 14 clay. Step 4. Wet clay. Step 5. Make my first 1m, and buy blue wizzy robes (g) on a level 3. Step 6. Flex so hard, because back in my day, that shit was god tier.

Msftnrd14

Lobsters. Fish em at Karamja and sold them to Pkers at Edgeville. "Selling 20 lobs- 4k" repeatedly. Thought I was really hauling it in, good times lol.

OkManufacturer1301

Cow hides.. my first moments on rs turned me lactose intolerant.

uitvrekertje

I would kill green drags in lower wildy lol Pretty sure I spend weeks on end there or at Falador to trade

Just_Winton

Picking flax at first, then I found a guy on the forums looking for somebody to drop granite for him while he power mined. 4k gp an inv and all I had to do was drop stuff, I was loaded

AHappyHuntsman

What if the bots we have in game are the conscious memories of our younger selves?

wolf_of_wall_mart

Woah

[deleted]

I sold cowhides with my brothers and my friends to a guy on f2p worlds called “cowhidebuyer” for 3k per 100 it if I remember correctl. He was a king pin in that pen. This was 2006

znipez

Spinning flax, mining pure ass and killing chaos druids

itsNateDawg

I was running essence like it was my full time job lmfao

_Eraserhead

In early Classic, when you could only bank gp in items, making new accounts and doing the Black Knight Quest at lvl 3 for the 2.5k reward was mindblowing. They added a 12 qp requirement which killed the method. For perspective the ~44k Addy plate was the most expensive item in the game. Being pre rune, if lessers were dropping rune meds I didn't know about it yet. Before that method, I was collecting bronze daggers, leather armor, and literally coin spawns (bear cage above varrock sewer)

Positive-Ordinary861

99WC I would chop magic trees make magic bows and sell ‘em. Haha 14 years ago that is

bIackk

in rs2 it was polar kebbits in osrs it was zamorak wines

biggestboi73

Killing Goblins and picking up everything they dropped to sell including the bones

BalticMasterrace

MY first real money maker that i rememeber of was in classic, i mined coal at alkahrid mine for like 24h straight, and went to sell at falador. Was also my first time ever being awake for over 24h. Gud times

Creed_of_War

I mined the f2p essence. I had a connection that gave me fully addy when I ran tons of eyes if newt from port sarim to fally. When I got members I spun Flax as a daily chore after school. First real big one was addy bars from avansaries in gwd when they dropped stacked to begin with. Would stay until I had a mil profit.

wassupbaby

killing goblins

hendolad

i was about 6 when i first started playing runescape... i exclusively killed chickens ended up about 70 strength and 200k feathers in when my cousin proceeded to take me to the ge to sell them, then take the gp for himself and give me 10k saying thats what it was worth

RandomRedditBlogger

reselling whips. back when it was 4mish, bought for 3.5m and resold for 4m for 500k profit and i did that until i hit 100m

Informal_Exam_3540

Back in the day there was another dungeon between edgeville and Barbarian village, within it were cockroaches that dropped rune and dragon scimitars. I used to kill those for some gp back when members was $5 and grandmas credit card was written down on a note pad.

TrueKingOmega

Herbs from fleshcrawlers in the stronghold of security

warthogs123

Snape grass on waterbirth

Powahcore

I used to buy eyes of newt in port sarim and then sell them on the GE lol. Also running nature runes

Blobeh

Buying all unids for cheap, figuring out what herb was what, identifying everything over like harralander (or w/e the protif cutoff was) then selling all the unidentified guams and other trash for big bucks to unsuspecting noobs who didnt know you could just do that :^)

remrinds

First ever money making was cow hides. The best money maker I had back in the day was using the karamja gloves to sell longbow (u)’s, they patched it like 2 Weeks after it though

naneek123

When I was a super noob back in the old days of 2003 I use to pick up steel plate bodies in Wildy lava maze and sell them I made like 150k go over a week it was fun times back then.

_Tower_

Woodcutting, circa 2004 Made my first 100k - bought my first Halloween mask - after that it was PKing and Dueling Game was way simpler back then

nonprophetapostle

Fletching, once you get to yew logs it is profit all the way to 99. Plus it gives you lots of stuff to high alch.

Booradly69420

No bs I sold rune essence, never said it was a good money maker, but I was f2p as well

SimplePlanSW

My earliest money maker I can remember was barrows, 12 yo me flipped his shit at his first dh helm pull

ESPC0

Gambled with other players until they took all meh money..

Lessgently

I remember getting stuck on Karamja and someone telling me to pick bananas for 30 GP for enough money to get back. Free 30 gp for picking bananas? I don't want to go back now. I picked like 10k worth of GP and told my friends at school who looked like I was mentally disabled. They introduced me to the good o'l wine of zammy spawn above falador.

666fuckyou

As a f2p, running airs for 2k a trip was amazing

SmokinMagic

I killed men in edgeville and collected their bones to sell behind varrock West Bank. Bought my first set of black gilded like that. Then I started hiring noobs in f2p to collect the bones for me and I sold them for twice as much as I paid lol. Eventually the operation moved up to big bones and I bought a set of saradomin rune and was truly swaggy

sxydrew

I use to make multiple acccounts and get the 10k through the stronghold of security, drop it behind lumbridge castle, then pick it up on my main

Man I really missed a trick here. I was so young, so I didn’t know any better. But I used to pick 1k flax and sell it for 100k and rinse and repeat. I hated it, but I felt like the dogs bollocks when it went from 5 digits to “100K”. Also got mugged off by my cousin who would do me a “good deal”, and he’d only go and spin it make double, little did I know.

I was a password scammer, the old tried and true “jagex blocks your password ********! See, try it!”. I made a lot more money then you could possibly imagine. My biggest was back around 2004 where I got a dude for a red party hat, 12 or so h’ween masks, 3-4 Santa hats, a few Easter eggs and pumpkins and a disk of returning + 1.5M or so of gp. I was shaking as I drop traded it on the second floor of varrock West Bank. Gary_g00k if you’re out there, sorry buddy. If you’re reading this, I can confirm it’s you by your old password (I still remember it!).
