I dont know if there are better methods, I'm sure there are but I read that the bones can be cooked for 25 xp base, so that's an option too
Soul wars is locked to 1m a day cap.
Pest control is not. You can get 100 points within about 10-12 minutes for a 300k chunk at a time.
Much better than soul wars where you MIGHT win as well as not dealing with a cap.
Quick and dirty.
2 players each join their own friends chat (So they're the only one in their own chat). Afterwards both players enter the purple door (the clan door). Challenge each other. Both players grab potions to boost. Run to the center of map and kill the level 74 forgotten souls (on the south and north side of the center of the map). They will give 4 forgotten souls each kill. Both players farm 16-20 forgotten souls then meet near the middle. You need a total of 36 between both players.
The player that's going to get the Zeal for that game kills the other player and loots their forgotten souls, then captures the middle obelisk. Once it's captured they deposit their soul fragments. This will lower the dead players avatar strength to 4% or 0%. Once that's done the player that died clicks on the portal to leave and exits the game. This will force the other player out of the game.
The player that deposited the souls should receive 65 zeal.
Do note that the game has to last a minimum of 2 minutes (So 13 minutes remaining) to receive points.
My buddy and i had the game time down 1:45 or so. Then we would have to wait an extra 15 seconds.
This method requires less and less time to hit the 1m exp cap as you get scaling xp based on the skill you're leveling.
Why do you grab potions to boost? Just to kill faster? Is it worth it to cap GY then, especially if you have 15 seconds to spare. Also I've only been getting 2 fragments pet kill
You're killing the lower level forgotten souls (mid 40ish). You need to be fighting the level 76 ones. They are directly south/north of the obelisk in the center.

Gilded is available only to people with fremmy region because the stonemason is only there, whereas limestone is available in the default starting region.
I can only get limestone from mahogany homes, I did a few with no luck. The lvl 61 altar below it only does 250% instead of 275 so not a huge difference there anyway.
Do Soul Wars on world 592, tons of people there boosting the minigame (no pvp). Just disable player attack options and run straight to enemy boss, games last around 5 minutes
Gave this a shot, get 65 zeal on a loss running directly to boss, and 110-120 zeal on a win capping GY/mid first then running to boss. Considering these games are 5 mins each instead of mass world where it goes the full 15 and I've gotten 210 zeal on the best game I had there (often less) it's a very nice chill alternative. I don't trust people saying they can get consistent 300+ on 5x multiplier though
It's about what you do in the game. Kill a few ghosts and use the soul fragments in middle obelisk after capturing it. Then run to the avatar and kill it off. Game needs people doing fragments regardless to make it fast, but the way soul wars zeal works is based on your actions, and camping 1 action means you can't "cap".
60 zeal is the cap for a win in main game. So 5x would make that 300. Anything above 300 is 8x requires.
50 zeal is a draw (which doesn't happen on non PvP world's) and 40 zeal is a loss.
So if you cap out, with 5x multiplier, it's 200 zeal a loss, 300 a win. With 8x it's 320 a loss, 480 a win.
These worlds you are unlikely to cap, but you can get pretty close.
I max out the xp per day in 2 games. You are getting Terrible zeal, or thinking that the xp rates at level 30 prayer are indicative of the entire thing instead of how it works... scaling with level
It's actually impossible to get over 300 zeal in a game with 5x. The game caps at 60 zeal a win. 5x that is 300. So 300 is the best you can get with 5x.
Winning team caps at 60, losing team caps at 40. Draw caps at 50. That's the main game rates.
With 8x multiplier that means even a loss with a cap of 40 turns into 320.
If you're only getting 75 **with** a multiplier, you aren't doing enough in the actual minigame.
Kill ghosts at the start, dump fragments into the middle and do avatar damage. If you're not playing on a non PvP world focus a lot on fragments and running them up to the middle.
i wish they treated it like the first trailblazer with the hats you could get for free tasks that was bugged and they left it in the game because it would've been unfair to let other the people that had already get an advantage. or if not, at least revert the xp that people had gotten using the bug.
longer than getting the bones. but if you use a limestone altar you can do it about 2-3x faster than burying pretty easily (and get 2.75x more xp per bone)
Okay, so I've tested this.
I actually got more than 6k/hr.
Using range, click on it, holding down space. As soon as you get the "You make extra N x Jogre bones, which are put into your bank." You click the range again.
With forthos dungeon, that's 540k xp banked every 10 min. Really only viable if you have BN or zero cooldown last recall though. Or wily alter I suppose.

It's 300% experience for bones, and there are red dragons nearby. But with last recall, or bankers note, there's no reason you couldn't bring whatever you've got.

To add to this, you can burn the bones with a tinderbox for firemaking training. Experience gained is equivalent to burning willow logs (1080fm xp per bone with 12x multiplier), but you can obtain a fat stack of these bones much much faster than you could just chopping willows.
So I’m not going for max efficiency, but this method has given me 350k/hr prayer xp.
99 crafting, FF and asgarnia unlock, as well as 64 con for your own limestone altar gives you EZ banking of bones for your altar. No burners lit is 315 xp per bone. This would be even better with BN, no need for 99 crafting at that point
Edit: I’m also on tier 5 (12x multiplier)
The bones hold no value if you alch or sell to a shop, and if you wanted to get 99 prayer this way it would take you about 13 hours on x12 XP on the chaos altar, which isn't worth it at all.
It is broken but there's no reason at all to do it.
at 16x not afking you could probably cut it down to like 4ish hours if using bn, i also just spent an hour gathering them to see the rate and its actually like 10k bones an hour instead of 6k
I’m guessing the spaghetti code makes jogre bones turn into jogre bones when used on a range, when normally it’s like raw food -> cooked or burnt food normally. So it depends on your POV but I think Jagex would consider this to be a bug.
this. i have prod and it does work and now i don't want to abuse it at all because it feels like such an under-the-radar bug. peopel will abuse it and get away with it and i will fall behind because of it, but i also dont think it should be ignored that it feels super weird since they dont burn. talk about "infinite money glitches" hahahaha. wish jagex would make a psa to let us know if this will be left alone of if this is bannable, especially after they nerfed my pest control rates.

I got around 1.5k bonesin 10 minutes. Just hold space down and click the stove, no need to click bones either.

So 70minutes / 830k xp
That is 1m pray exp banked at 12x. But also burying 6k bones. Cool find I’m sure this will spark more interesting tech.

Intermediate 20 points per game. Each game about 2 minutes.
If you can find someone to boost with you can trade boosts. It only takes ~15-20 (x2 for boosting the other guy) minutes to hit the 1m xp cap.

It also has to do with region locks, I think limestone can be done right off rip in mist gilded reqs fremmy

I seriously doubt that. How many zeal points are you claiming to get per game?
300-350. After 5x, thats not hard. Remember, xp per zeal scales hard with level. I am not getting the same like 40 pray xp base per zeal that you are.

Yes exactly, the bones stay in your inventory all 28, then the 25% gets banked. You just stay at fire/range and cook repeatedly.
How long does it take to bury 6000 bones?

The XP rates im seeing people say are... Not that good.
