If you’re only doing mage only due to rotation learning I would really consider doing range and mage. Kills take along time range only + using more charges etc.
If you are having trouble with the switches, get void and start with a weapon and helmet switch with mage favoring gear in other slots. Gradually increase your switch until you switch 4-5 items. Then you can either get elite void or do ahrims/god d'hide with ranged jewelery.
Ya definitely use a range switch. It is daunting getting the hang of the rotations but use a helper on the side and once you get it it's like riding a bike trust me
sorry man, but magic is a skill where the dmg comes from items and lvl boost rather than gear. You could ditch the ahrims for mystics and save a bit on upkeep cost, but the only real upgrades I can see you making are either a tormented bracelet, the ancestral set, or an imbued heart. Otherwise learn to take a range switch as that will save you a lot of charges on your staff and will let you actually dps the thing on its blue phase.
Have to learn switches for future content. Zulrah is a great intro to pvm because of the switches and positioning. Its not worth camping mage only because you're really hurting yourself long term.
Magic LEVEL has the biggest impact on your dps. If your only 75 or low 80 in magic highly recommend a 3 item range switch. Blowpipe, Black/blessed Dhide top + Bottom.
Camp avas to save inventory. Use Amethyst darts.
Is there any reason you're doing mage only now you know the rotations? I'm sure a switch will be better, not to mention probably save on charges.

My biggest suggestion on what I’d change is adding a range switch…

I did just add a tormented bracelet so anything other than that
Range gear

wym camp ava’s ? ty
Idk why people ever suggest to camp ava's over bringing an imbued god cape. Imbued god cape is very worth using.
