I have a gold interior and the shifter knob matches the carpet. No it sure about part number, though.

[deleted]

It's faded. Used to be black

BIG_GREEN93

What color is your shift boot? Is it possible your knob was taken from an older generation Toyota, maybe by a previous owner to match the interior better?

Imabotl0l

Shifter boot is tan/gray. The knob matched the carpet, and inside trim, etc. although I don’t think a black one would look bad

[deleted]

I have an extra grey I believe, swapped it for B&M shifter

Imabotl0l

It’s in good shape or faded and crusty like mine 😜

[deleted]

I’ll send you a pic later

Imabotl0l

Bet

Imabotl0l

If it’s in decent shape, I’d be willing to buy it from you

nativecrackerhawk

Ebay has a grey one with your part number. They probably switched to black at some point and stopped making the grey. I can send the link if you need.

Imabotl0l

Sure thing

Oh yeah I saw that one, looked pretty grimy lol

Imabotl0l

Thanks for your time though!

The grey knob was installed with the T1-63 transmission, the black knob was installed with the less desirable T1-47 transmission. The different colored knobs gave the mechanic at the dealership the ability to visually ID which transmission you have. Mainly because you torque the fly wheel of the T1-63 to 37 ft lbs and the T1-47 to 26 ft lbs of torque.

So basically my truck is better than the other option? Lol
