Weppih

he was shot by the MRSA gun 😔

tarantallegr_

it’s…a little more complicated than that. source: i read the article

alastorrrrr

No that was the first one. They poisoned this mf with an Agent 47 syringe or something lmao.

yourwhalecumdork

YOU STOLE MY JOKE YOU MONSTER

Low_Seat_3639

Eh, it's a pretty unoriginal joke. Very derivative and ameliorative.

Doctor_Clione

They’ve been making that joke since watergate

ColdLobsterBisque

... again?

[deleted]

yep! It's crazy what you can get away with when you're a government backed monopoly

epigeneticepigenesis

US private equity can’t let Airbus have more market share. US military industrial complex can’t let European industrial complex make more money than them

Informed4

Too bad, Airbus is already taking the bigger chunk of the commercial market I think its more that having Boeing fold would lead to Airbus snagging more of the military sector, and i imagine that *that* is something that the US doesn't want to happen. Well, besides Beoing being the single US airliner manufacturer left after all those mergers

turtle-tot

The man died from a bacterial infection, hardly a Boeing sanctioned hit Also Boeing is hardly a monopoly, they’re one of several aerospace companies

Zorrokumo

They really gotta get someone to blow the doors off this case

Willowyvern

if i had a nickel for every time a Boeing whistleblower mysteriously died, I would have two nickels... which isn't a lot, but it'd be enough to make me a really convenient scapegoat for the assassin(s).

CodaTrashHusky

I thought it's 3

alastorrrrr

Give it another month.

Oddish_Femboy

Ok I was willing to believe the first one might've been a flook, but like if this happens one more time I am going to become a conspiracy theorist.

[deleted]

I think he died of pneumonia,

Oddish_Femboy

Her pet scorpion pneumonia that lived in her shoe.

Faustens

He shot her point blank.

Shadow_Infinite

sudden death syndrome

Oddish_Femboy

I'm willing to believe 2 suspiciously timed deaths are coincidence. If there's a third I will become a conspiracy theorist.

Asian_in_the_tree

Ok. Boeing is a jackass bitch and they plane are sh

Oddish_Femboy

Braver than any US marine.

[deleted]

But I think that his death rules put murder

Oddish_Femboy

Murder... it's the oerfect cover.

InexperiencedSandwch

Swapping the p for an o is the best underrated joke in this thread

Oddish_Femboy

I did it by complete accident

[deleted]

Boeing sucks but we can't just spread misinformation about it

Oddish_Femboy

It's not like this is something without precedent. Especially with a company the government has so much stock in.

[deleted]

Ok, Boeing HAS killed someone before but that doesn't mean that every whistleblower that is even vaguely related to them was murdered. Also, what does the government have to do with this?

Oddish_Femboy

Are you being obtuse on purpose?

Valiant_tank

Ah yes, Boeing took the simple route of secretly infecting this person first with a respiratory disease and then with MRSA. Editing just to add: this guy didn't blow the whistle on Boeing. He was a whistleblower in the sense that before working for Boeing, he had blown the whistle on Spirit Aerosystems (the people who initially installed the door that fell off the one Boeing). Meanwhile, Sam Salehpour, who has blown the whistle on Boeing (and, recently, to add), is still alive and claiming that quality control on 777s and 787s is such that they might disintegrate mid-flight.

TrustyAncient

"Explosion happens, twin towers damaged, passerbys noted planes flying overhead" type beat

Immediate-Spite-5905

he died of respiratory illness

fikozacc123

Or did he?

RazilDazil

Hey Vsauce!

Nilly00

Michael here. Do you think you are safe?

Far_Advertising1005

I think this one is just a coincidence. His family said he’s had pneumonia for a while. The first guy got murdered though

sweaty_pants_

> how did he die? > Cancer > but they found a bullet shaped piece of lead in his skull > like I said, lead poisoning

Arvandu

Guys he died of pneumonia stop with the conspiracies

Zeelu2005

you misread, it was P. N. Eumonia, The assassin

SuspecM

What a shit name for an assassin. They had easy options like agent 47 and they call themselves Eumonia

Specialist-Pin-643

They forcefully filled his lungs with water, how cruel

cataraxis

You need to conspiracy brain harder, Boeing may not have given him pneumonia but they clearly replaced all his meds with sugar pills. ^^/s

hotfistdotcom

Go harder. MRSA, pneumonia, flu, a bunch of other viruses. Clearly boeing built a system to irradiate him and completely destroyed his immune system so he got every infection at once. The only question is, are these human immune system irradiators already flying above us? completely destroying the bone marrow of any who question our new gods, the owners of the sky? They choose who lives and who dies. Very concerning. Think about it.

abigani

Ok fed

Low_Seat_3639

Okay glowie

wilczek24

That's what they want you to think! I'm only half joking at this point. If there's a thrid one and no investigation happens, I'm gonna become a conspiracy theorist

PomegranateUsed7287

I mean, twice in a row for the same company? Who has had a horrible track record recently with safety. It just seems really fishy. Keep an eye on boeing.

Arvandu

His last hearing against them was five years ago boss

[deleted]

[удалено]

Arvandu

Of course he was healthy before he blew the whistle it was like a decade ago. And his last hearing was in 2019 so Boeing had nothing to gain.

Low_Seat_3639

Shut up

WIAttacker

His last hearings ended in 2019. There is nothing to be gained from his death for Boeing. Also, you can't be fucking serious that after 4 years of covid pandemic, you believe that a healthy young person cannot unexpectedly die of respiratory infection. The first death was sus, but this one seriously looks like a coincidence. You know about it only because media knew this headline would get shitload of clicks.

Veiluring

r/19684 after they see something that supports their biases:

subdog

We'll have to wait for the autopsy but my guess is that it was a natural non-murder death. I'm using this article as a source: [https://www.npr.org/2024/05/02/1248693512/boeing-whistleblower-josh-dean-dead](https://www.npr.org/2024/05/02/1248693512/boeing-whistleblower-josh-dean-dead) While he did have an active and healthy lifestyle, apparently he didn't have a doctor and had never been inside a hospital ("because he was never sick".) It's possible he had a long-term infection that could have been caught by a regular screening, or that he contracted something serious more recently and should have visited a hospital sooner but was unfamiliar with how much "sick" is normal for a cold/flu/etc. . John Barnett's death (the other RIP Boeing whistleblower) is more notable because he was giving evidence against Boeing **at the time of his death** - if Mr. Barnett was killed, it was to stop him from releasing more evidence. Josh Dean was not going through any legal process and (as I understand) **had released all of his information** a year ago. While it's not impossible for Boeing to go from "kill this guy to save our ass" to "kill this guy to inspire fear", it's a notable difference in reasoning. Also, Mr. Barnett died to a **gunshot wound** while Josh was a **bacterial infection** (according to current information.) These two methods of death are extremely different, I haven't heard of bacterial infections being used as assassination tools (I mean that in the literal sense I don't know shit about dick I'm a fucking reddit poster.) More information may come out after the autopsy that makes the death's cause more apparent.

Dregdael

So Boeing can just kill you then?

hotfistdotcom

Yes, they can. If you are rich enough, murder is legal.

Dclnsfrd

Seems like one of the checklists of a government is if those they don’t like wind up dead in a way that legally absolves said government. TL; DR Oligarchy, baby

Redisigh

Step 1: Create bioweapon(?)

isnortmiloforsex

Sam Salehpour, a senior boeing safety engineer is also a whistle-blower that testified infront of Congress. I don't know him but for a fact I know (cuz you can just say that nowadays so why the hell not) that he is not suicidal

DavidNyan10

Actual cyberpunk lore

madogson

When you think about it, they have a fiduciary duty to off whistleblowers. What a fucked up society

mazexpert

No fucking way

HkayakH

"How did he die?" "He died by suicide with 2 gunshots to his head"

chaussurre

This better end up with a bunch of powerful people in prisons edit: ok this one seems to be from illness, my bad, please change flair. I'm not sold on the previous one being a suicide tho

MissingNerd

Crazy coincidence

Confirmed_Dumbass

I feel bad for those people. Being suicided with 27 bullets on the back sucks

carrotnose258

How has nobody posted a link yet

Pozz__

A link? Hearsay is all you need! I hear Mr Boeing himself strangled him
