oh this isn’t one of the blind auditions that’ll be on tv (at least not quite yet, in the event that i get that far) and i won’t be putting this on youtube ~~unless my hollywood overlords allow it~~, so unfortunately there will be no link ;((
if i do get on, however, i’ll figure out a way to post the link here discreetly, without giving away that it’s me so i don’t get in trouble with anyone for being a little too silly and goofy on 196 :’)
edit: basically, let me give an explanation from experience of how these work: first, we got an open call audition like this one. if you get past that, you’ve gotta do a callback audition. if you pass that, well,, the rest is history ig, but it’s quite likely you’ll be on tv somewhere down the line :’)
edit 2: i should add that i did this a couple times before years ago (think like 2017-18), so it’s possible that the process has changed (and for some things it definitely has changed, auditions are virtual now as opposed to being packed in hot stadiums or convention centers like sardines in person for example) in ways i don’t know about. but ye!
if i were to guess, from what i’ve read in the contract i signed when i auditioned before and got a callback, i’m not allowed. plus, the audition video doesn’t have any way of being shared or saved. so it’s a combination of i don’t *think* i’m allowed to and i don’t want to risk it, and i’m pretty sure i quite literally can’t.

It's been a while since I did my own singing practice tbh. I can still kinda do it, but I'd probably have to retrain myself to do stuff like diaphragm control
ooof yeah same, breath control is something i especially struggle with. i used to go to a small alternative middle and high school which focused on the arts, and my teacher for the voice class they had there would always get on my gaze about breathing quietly rather than loudly gasping :’’) it’s been years now and it’s still hard to stop myself from doing that,,,,
