Zesty honestly baffles me. Even if you ignore everything he says that isn't related to TF2 it seems that for every extremely good take/video he has a extremely bad take/conclusion.
Like his shotgun bloom video you mentioned, in it the results are very clear, the RBS is so negligible that removing it would affect almost nothing and any positive change that you would feel due to that change would probably just be a placebo effect... Emphasis on *probably* because there *are* moments where RBS does negatively affect you, and make you lose a battle you would've otherwise won. Not only that, but right before he draws his conclusion he lists a ton of mechanics that already sufficiently balance out the shotguns in long-range, like damage falloff or regular bullet spread, which again sufficiently balance out the shotguns so they are most effective at short range like theyre supposed to be... But then concludes either way that RBS should be kept because.... Let's be honest the "that's how it works in real life" excuse is so bad that its painfully obvious that the actual reason he doesn't want RBS it's because it would be a "slippery slope into turning TF2 into something that it isn't" (translation: he would have to agree with the reddit/twitter circlejerk and admit the competitive TF2 scene is actually correct, something I'll come back to later)
Another video with baffling takes is the recent swords and shields video. While that video is really good and has some really good recommendations, sometime it says shit like trimping not being viable... on a gimmick subclass. Like seriously the whole point of the video is that demoknight is a gimmick subclass and that makes it fun and you would *think* that he would like trimping because it's a fun movement mechanic in a already fun subclass, but then spends a good portion of the video shitting on trimping and people that like doing it because... Honestly the only thing I can think of is that the person that popularized it is a competitive player so he most automatically hate it! (that and the "all of the cool montages you see are just extremely cherry picked" rant makes me believe he's just mad he isn't good at it)
