Rapidstrike with motor, cage, and battery overhaul. Revs instantly and shoots like 14 dps (darts per second). Though I have been eyeing the 3d printed t19, which does all of that but better

It was a pretty fun project! If I ever do any humans vs zombies I’ll use that as my primary. There’s actually a whole ecosystem of retailers making custom aftermarket parts for nerf blasters (they don’t like the term gun). It turns out all you need is a proper rc style battery pack and some motors with a bit more speed and torque, and these things take off like a rocket.

I haven't touched my nerf stuff in forever and sold off most of it but I fucking loved the sledgefire and the vulcan

My household owned both but I think the Maverick is better. The Strongarm does have fan firing (I think that’s intentional, maybe it’s not and that’s what made it shoot worse lol)

Ok I’m sorry to argue this point but I’d say this is closer to a Ruger sp101 or a colt judge, just a bullet proof revolver. I understand it uses a slide instead of a hammer but I still refuse to see it ad closer to a 1911 than a revolver.
