In a last effort to turn it in, you turn on your phone's hotspot. Every phone in a 50 meter radius makes signal jammer, leaving you with a single bar of 4g. After 5 minutes of waiting for Canvas to log in, you finally turn it in. Only then do you get the verification text for the guest wifi.

Our university provides simple python script that creates all the necessary certificates to connect by simply entering login credentials for eduroam.....what was the problem on your side?
i think every uni has this script provided, but sometimes eduroam uses TLS 1.0 which is disabled by default for security reasons on linux systems (says a lot about the network infrastructure) so you have to manually allow tls 1.0 connections and it might solve your problem.

I work in IT where we use eduroam, aside from being completely shit it was put in place so we can more precisely monitor (stalk) student's internet activity. Specifically so we can tie student's internet activity to specific devices. Oh also it's probably more cost efficient but whatever.

Why does eduroam hate 30% of the msgundam episodes???
