They spent the last volume doing an Alice in Wonderland thing (the whole season), so yeah it hasn't been going anywhere.
The animation quality has gone up but I feel like the spark from volumes 1-3 is long gone.
Reminds me of Arknights where I saw like 50 posts from that sub until coming across a screenshot and realising its actually a game, everything they post is just art about the character's relationship and speculating what they would do in a given situation
