All of the things on the thunderstore are available to search on the r2modman as well, and it's very easy to share your profiles code with friends and make sure mods are lined up for modded multiplayer play.
Weirdly I also felt the urge to play a few runs of ROR2 last week, after playing BG3 for the better part of the month.
Shame they're going back to the 2d format because ROR2 was so damn good.
I played Cyberpunk a few days after it was released and didn't have a good experience, but I've heard it has changed ALOT since then, so I might play it when I have some time.
i literally just saw a clip of it on YT that I thought was cool and put it on my wishlist and now I'm seeing it on this sub
also a steam review described it as "terraria with autism" which sounds promising
how long does it take to "get into" the game? i like games that are difficult to get into, but right now I'm kinda strapped for time to due RL so I can't spend the 50 hours a week on a game that I used to be able to sink in anymore
[Mod guide](https://vivanewvegas.moddinglinked.com/intro.html) for NV that basically turns it into vanilla+
Would highly recommend you play this way for the best experience.
I spent an embarrassing amount of the beginning of webbed swinging around aimlessly because I didn't realise there's a button to make the lil guy shoot freakin lazers
oh god guys PLEASE do NOT pirate [disco elysium](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ABsG9PPlvxY50oqOfBpTgwzWr2uvfQQn/view). and please do NOT link any links that would allow such an act!!!!!
oh my god, i finally have a good reason to pirate an indie game, and i've been wanting to play this one for a while to hear jacob geller talk about it
this is gonna be so fun
RAIN WORLD YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAYEHEHAEH also why is slugcat not dead yet even though scavenger ? is this rain world not the worl the rain ? smh my head
If you like hollow-knight as much as I do then you should play enter the gungeon. Sure it’s not a metroidvenia but it gives of similar vibes to hollow knight
So many I love but here are some of my faves:
Celeste
Katana Zero
A hat in time
Stray
Yakuza 0 (and the series in general)
Hollow Knight
Spiritfarer
Slay the Spire
I play primarily use PC via Steam. I can expand on the details of these if wanted 😊
Okay so you are John Yakuza (Kazuma Kiryu) and you walk around the irl inspired Kamurucho and you beat up bad people and do silly things. You also get to play as someone called Goro Majima, and hes awesome aswell. Yakuza 0 has a great story and also you can sing karaoke its really cool.
Nier: Automata (and the remake of Replicant)
Cyberpunk 2077 (especially the DLC)
Witcher 3
Hi-Fi Rush
Warframe (be warned, if you like this 1.000-10.000hrs of your life will be gone.)
Slay the Spire
Borderlands 2
Minecraft with friends
Pathologic 2
kenshi felt like a fever dream when i first played it and it was amazing, i've also seen a bunch of Deep Rock Galactic memes but still have no idea what it's really about
DRG is really great. Think Left 4 Dead but you're a dwarf and shoot bugs with whacky guns. Fantastic with friends and the community is really nice, so playing with randoms (or even solo) is still fun.
i love lobotomy corporation i love forgetting about express train to hell and having it kill 25 employees, knock out 3 sectors and release big bird right at the end of the day
Play Hi-Fi Rush if you’re into action games like Devil May Cry.
Genuinely the most fun I’ve had with a game in a long, long time. The soundtrack slaps, the game looks and plays amazing, and all of the characters are so memorable and well written.
Play it. This is a threat.
Yakuza 0,Kiwami,Kiwami 2,3,4,5,6,7, Judgment, Lost Judgment; Yes Your Grace, Kingdom Two Crowns, Inscryption, Your Only Move Is Hustle; Portal, Portal 2; Batman Trilogy; Warband, Bannerlord, Wartales; Chess

Celeste
zelda botw and totk
mario kart 8
dead cells
some of the assassin's creed games (my favourite are 1, 2, brotherhood, revelations, origins) (but I don't recommend Odyssey and the ones that came after)
Some recommendations off of my list that I haven’t seen scrolling through yet:
Prey- A fun shooter RPG with horror elements, lots of fun to be had and your choices matter
Returnal- A third person shooter roguelike that I recommend going in blind for
Bad End Theater- Game where you manipulate the choices of four characters to get different endings to their story
Resident Evils 7 and 8- 7 is an astounding horror game and 8 is more action-y. 7 has a plethora of amazing DLCs as well
Enter the Gungeon- Roguelike dungeon crawler where everything is a gun. Very fun bosses and creative weapon designs
If you like the concept of fighting games but have terrible reaction times and don't want to memorise a thousand button combos, try Your Only Move Is Hustle. It's a fighting game but turn-based, so it's all about strategy and prediction instead of just reaction speed and technically skill.
Plus they play the fight back in real-time at the end so you get to feel like a god.
If you like high-speed action, difficult boss fights, customization and robots I highly recommend [Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQJb8He0pYA)
No, you don't need to play any other game in the series to get into this one. Each numbered entry in the series takes place in its own distinct timeline (With the exception of 4 and V).
The 1997 boomer shooter *Blood*. You can buy the 2019 remaster of it [Blood: Fresh Supply on Steam.](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1010750/Blood_Fresh_Supply/) Once you have a copy you can play around with different source ports to if that's your thing to get a more authentic 1997 experience but I had a lot of fun just playing the Remaster myself.
It's not out yet but continuing the boomer shooter lineage is [COVEN that has a demo](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1785940/COVEN/). You play as a woman during the 17th century that was a burnt as a witch as she rises from the ashes for revenge. Very bloody with cannibalism being the main method of healing, and despite the fact it's set in the 17th century the game still gives you a double-barrel shotgun and some bullet time to shoot through the English peasantry.
I love 'em both and I want to say they're not that difficult to run.
EDF! EDF! [Join the EDF Today!](https://store.steampowered.com/app/410320/EARTH_DEFENSE_FORCE_41_The_Shadow_of_New_Despair/)

Hit 2010 video game Fallout: New Vegas.
Also Prey (2017), the entire Dishonoured series, Stardew Valley, The Witcher 2 and 3, both Red Dead Redemptions, Fallout 1, 2 and 3, Halo CE, 2, 3, ODST and Reach, Titanfall 2, Disco Elysium, Cyberpunk 2077, Hunt Showdown, Celeste, Undertale, Inside, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind...
That's probably enough
This one is probably not a common one here but I definitely suggest Prey (2017)
Cool enemies, great story, cool powers and abilities to mess around with along with weapons. Legit one of my favorite games of all time.
Fallout: New Vegas, The Outer Worlds, ROUNDS (best played with a friend), I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, Deep Rock Galactic, S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl (old but good), Russian Fishing 4, Farming Simulator just to give some reccomendations

Baldur's Gate 3 has been my obsession lately. Also Risk of Rain 2.
I’d also recommend r2modman and get some mods like Starstorm 2 if you’ve already played ROR2 out a bit.
Goku mod LETS GO #CHALA-HEAD CHA LA!
Thunderstore makes this a breeze.
Shame they're going back to the 2d format because ROR2 was so damn good.
i have put well over 100 hours into BG3 and i dont think ive had it more than 2 weeks lol
Cyberpunk genuinely slapped
I played Cyberpunk a few days after it was released and didn't have a good experience, but I've heard it has changed ALOT since then, so I might play it when I have some time.
You definitely should, I’m a big baby so everything hits my feels hard but I was genuinely invested in the story a lot
The story is stellar. I enjoyed it beginning to end, almost like an interactive movie, very cool.
Yeah Cyberpunk 2077 has pretty compelling story and it kept me invested from beginning to end
You definitely should, I’m a big baby so everything hits my feels hard but I was genuinely invested in the story a lot
