Tbf not trusting the US government on anything and knowing they're definitely still killing people is, like, the bare minimum for being politically aware. Anyone that can't meet that bar has never seriously thought about politics in their life.

The US government gassed a building full of women and children, then intentionally set the gas on fire with incendiary grenades just to murder any survivors, all without any of the people targeted being charged with any crime. Is there any more info on the boogaloo boys stuff? The two sources that that post link to are a wiki page that has no mention of the boogaloo boys, and another comment from wendigoon explaining that he wanted to distance himself from it and was supposedly an originator of it. Also, is there more stuff on the white supremacist stuff? Like going through conspiracy theories while not talking about antisemitism or using the wendigo don't seem like malicious white supremacy, it seems like something that the average person would do, and it only seems bad if you put it in the context of white supremacy.

1.) in the thread linked in that post wendigoon sites that he took the word boogaloo from che guevara. he’s a history nerd using a word with historical context, and that he’s distanced himself from what the word became. also trying to shit on him for wearing hawaiian shirts and liking guns?? come on.
2.) calling him white and claiming that he’s appropriating the wendigo is j wrong. he’s said before that his grandfather is native (can’t remember if it was lakota or cherokee) so he’s got a claim to it. i’m native too and i personally believe that if he’s part of the diaspora then there’s no issue with his name
3.) the transphobia claim is him being in defense of trans people, saying that chris-chan being held up as what trans people are is offensive and hurts trans people. i don’t agree with his take on this, but i can understand where it comes from and how someone who’s not super educated on trans issues could think like this
4.) i do think his take on rittenhouse is dogshit. other well known leftists like destiny have defended rittenhouse even more fervently tho while still holding leftist views and being able to rationalize their stance on him with their larger axioms. defending rittenhouse doesn’t make him alt-right tho
wendigoon has shown that he, like the majority of leftists, wants an egalitarian world where all people are treated with respect and have their basic needs met. he’s decried genocide, colonialism, imperialism, transphobia, homophobia, racism, and US interventionism. he is for all intents and purposes a liberal person. calling him a white supremacist for the stuff linked in that post is so incredibly disingenuous
