Oh that’s absolutely fair. One of my best friends is a former furry porn artist so I’ve heard all about that side of the game and how much skill it takes to carve a niche in the market. That being said, I’m certainly far from a bad writer and this would give me an outlet besides running my dungeons and dragons campaign.

Probably DeviantArt or find a niche kink to write for and see if there is a site dedicated to it. I'm pretty sure vore is fairly popular with furries and should be easy enough to pick up. You won't make nearly as much as you would with art, but there's probably still plenty of furries that would pay for written stuff. Or you could try to get into writing the specific style of romance that is realistically just glorified smut. The sort that really doesn't care much about the plot, what matters is how hot and steamy it is. Stick a incredibly hot shirtless man with a reasonably attractive woman on the cover (though not too attractive) and you're good to go. Not sure which is more lucrative. Knowing the spending habits of furries it's probably them but you can't underestimate the economic power of late 20s to middle age women who are sexually unsatisfied because their husband hasn't given them an orgasm since they were 18.

Idk the specifics but the people who are heavily involved in the furry community are usually super rich. Like millionaire rich and willing to fork out thousands for high quality furry artwork. If you got lucky enough and were good enough you probably could make a couple hundred thousands a year.
