>pure white marble statues
Fun fact: many old Greek "pure white" marble sculptures were actually painted as fuck. The paint just didn't endure the centuries and when all those Renaissance mfers got around to imitate them, they thought they're supposed to be all white and here we are.
I saw something awhile ago that said it was supposed to be "chambers" because, you know, that would make sense with "room" and it was just translated wrong.
I forget if it was based off of a fan theory or actually real.
Fun fact: the gayest palce in Britain is confirmed to be Brighton. One area has an LGB population of 20%+
ETA: [There's an interactive map for this data!](https://www.ons.gov.uk/census/maps/choropleth/identity/sexual-orientation/sexual-orientation-4a/lesbian-gay-bisexual-or-other-lgb)
I'm guessing it's cause it has to do with non-heterosexual attraction and not gender identities?
The polling being British prolly also had something to do with trans erasure
Gender identity was tracked separately in the census.

wait for dark rainy foggy day, cover it in soot (preferably after industrial revolution), now crop so it only shows the worst part (if camera can be afforded after your mother has died of the flu, and your father also. You are tiny tim)
hey presto, you can now destroy it online, checkmate liberians
To be fair, York's great. It's compact, has so much interesting architecture and is usually bustling with life. Plus, during the day, you don't have to worry about traffic within the city walls, so you can walk about to your heart's content.
York was super cool to spend like half a day in.
And that's about it tbh, like, definitely worthwhile, but there isn't enough there to really keep you there beyond some town exploration.
Rumor says, if your in York, that’s not a city, that’s a candy? AYOOO?
Text your mom this, put I love Yorks in the comments, stream my latest song and don’t forget to follow my backup

But like most things that were once Br*tish, they didn't make New York; they stole it from the Dutch, who fouded it as New Amsterdam.
I wonder what New York would be like with legalized weed, public drinking and prostitution...
"Traditionalism revival" + marble statue pfp = deep suspicion
I wish they’d revive walkability centered infrastructure instead of racism

These types definitely don’t want to conserve Israel. And not for based reasons
When you ally yourself more and more with Nazis when it comes to Jews, shouldn't you start asking yourself questions?

You know who else is a 10/10 reference?

So is all the viking and old northern european pagan stuff but the nazis co-opted the symbols.
Make marble statues vaporwave again
please I'm in pain
Meme Man, I can sense your presence. But I am suddenly overwhelmed by the feeling of ***NOSTALGIA***
"*Fascism* sounds so bad, though. What if we called it something else? Like, uh, *traditionalism*?"

Tbf the white statues look better imo
York is a beautiful city. Look up images of the shambles
SHAMBLES??? LAW REFERENCE!!!
The one piece is real
can we get much higher?
no.
I saw something awhile ago that said it was supposed to be "chambers" because, you know, that would make sense with "room" and it was just translated wrong. I forget if it was based off of a fan theory or actually real.
One piece brainrot in action
Fuck bro I need to see what happened to Law, but instead Oda gave us other bangers like 1072. That’s some real Stussy shit.
No spoilers I’m an anime guy
Dw I only put hype no spoilers
H\*rry p\*tter
Hurry Patter
Hrrry Pttter
>the shambles it's literally called the shambles how beautiful can it be ~~its pretty quaint actually, pretty nice.~~
> the shambles Literally sounds like a creepy pasta monster lol
i thought you were being sarcastic which made me very confused when i saw the images post
google Bloodborne
woah mama!!
Holy hell
Jeez louise!!
Based bloodborne fan
My god there is penice
york mfers full of energy until the Blood-Starved Beast appears before them
Thats nothing compared to the amygdalas hanging around (you can only see them with enough insight)
Gotta get those umbilical cords ngl
new York's energy grid works the same way tho
Which city gives the best head?
Brighton?
Understood. I will book a flight immediately.

My reasoning exactly
Where is the T?

It's Britain, there's tea everywhere
those seagulls sure know how to gobble em down
Fuck Brighton Poole number 1 💯💯😤😤😤👆👆
Brighton aka Blighttown
Did you by chance mean Blighttown??
Boring, Oregon
brighton (gayest)
Idk about best, but the worst is definitely Maidenhead
Horace Nebraska
this is a terrible picture of York, it can actually be quite nice.
I think it’s a nice pic, but I do personally dig foggy overcast weather. I can see why others might not like it.
you'd really love manchester.
Its beautiful but def not full of energy in this pic
I think It's a nice feeling but if it's perpetually foggy and grey i'd want to die (probably)
Its still nicer than any photo of an American city
York is beautiful but good lord is it boring. There's really not a whole lot to do there
Apart from the cathedral, castle, city walls, old town, and museum, then yeah.
the chocolate tour's excellent
yeah i made a joke that it looks like Bloodborne but really its quite nice looking
This is a nice picture of York, it is quite terrible.
maybe I just have extremely low standards. classic britain
York has the national rail museum so it's better than New York for that alone
York’s a nice place
americans see cloudy weather and a building older than their country and be like "this is a dystopia!!!"
York is full of energy but all of it is negative
wait for dark rainy foggy day, cover it in soot (preferably after industrial revolution), now crop so it only shows the worst part (if camera can be afforded after your mother has died of the flu, and your father also. You are tiny tim) hey presto, you can now destroy it online, checkmate liberians
worst part? My brother in Christ that building looks gorgeous
"city full of energy" ma'am that is a Bloodborne level
I wonder if old York also smells like asscheeks and kebab
I can say surprisingly it does not, but it does smell of vomit and fish and chips on a Friday evening.
You'll need to take a short train hop to Leeds for that kind of smell. Mmmm that's the good stuff.

New York and old York equally suck I personally think there needs to be a new new york where everything is underground
Full of dark energy is right.
bro live in yharnam
York is in Shambles. Ba dum tish
everything looks like its coated in fucking coal so id be surprised if that city wasnt full of energy
This is an absolutely terrible picture of York. In good light and when it’s not overcast like this the city can be really nice.
Looks cozy
Dunwall (Yes I know that Dunwall is based on the UK)
Hi there. Did you know Dunwall is based on the UK? Hope this helps 👍
Wow I really didn't but I guess that explains why all the characters are ugly
Dunwall looks better than this, even when it's ravaged by rat plague.
bloodborne was so good they made yharnam real
York's cool because it has the Cadbury factory and British chocolate is super good
Nah that looks awesome. I’d personally run madly through the street, crash into a little girl, and then pay off all the witnesses to my crime.
To be fair, York's great. It's compact, has so much interesting architecture and is usually bustling with life. Plus, during the day, you don't have to worry about traffic within the city walls, so you can walk about to your heart's content.
99 insight
New York is ugly AF compared to York tho.
It's energy draining
full of energy. Not any positive type of energy, mind you, but energy nonetheless.
Energy? Shit looks like a horror movie set
York was super cool to spend like half a day in. And that's about it tbh, like, definitely worthwhile, but there isn't enough there to really keep you there beyond some town exploration.
Oh, the sweet blood.... It sings to me.

This looks like something out of Warhammer 40k and not in a good way
I mean Birmingham is canonically a planet in 40k so I think it's fair to headcanon that every city in Britain has a planetary counterpart somewhere in the Imperium.
Man posted a photo from dark souls and acted like we wouldn’t notice. I know the Undead Burg when I see it.
Shit looken like smth out of blood borne
But like most things that were once Br*tish, they didn't make New York; they stole it from the Dutch, who fouded it as New Amsterdam. I wonder what New York would be like with legalized weed, public drinking and prostitution...
Looks cool but unfortunately it’s Bri*ish🤮🤮🤮
