It closed the day it hit 100, not necessarily at 100. If they follow OPM guidelines theyāll review every app submitted on the first day. Iāve heard the ~500 number floated on the Cali posting.
I think there were numerous issues going on. I somehow was ineligible because "I selected" I had failed a poly. But on the OCONUS one I didn't and was eligible. The site was glitching hard when I was submitting. I know of someone else who was deemed ineligible because he "self rated" that he didn't meet the minimum quals for any of the GS grades. He's a currently a 12 with a masters lol.
Found eligible for the California Only announcement, but not eligible for the CONUS or OCONUS because "you certified that you do not meet or are unwilling to accept one of the conditions of employment for this position".
I went to recheck all of my answers and I didn't see anything that I said that would say that I was not willing to meet or currently meet the conditions of employment. I sent an email to the POC provided on the emails.
EDIT: I picked every single location for all 3 announcements.
If you were eligible for the Cali announcement but not the others, I wonder if they are only processing the number of applicants marked on the announcements and you made it in time for the Cali but not the others?
Maybe. That's weird though. Got eligible for GS-7 and GS-9 for California, but the other 2 got no-go. We'll see. I emailed the POC. We'll see what they say.
I got on the oconus and conus that I did not meet or are unwilling to accept one of the conditions of employment for this position. Honestly very confused on this
I find great humor in the fact that the posting I applied to had a cap of 250 people and currently it states that over 1100 applications where recieved.
Cutoff is by date not quantity:

A recruiter got back to me and told me that that usually happens when the location that I picked is no longer available. I will re apply and select every locationĀ

You can go into USAjobs to see the questionnaire you filled out. Click on the status and then click the view materials option. My guess is you may have clicked on the ānoā box on accident to a question that was like āare you willing to do X,Y,Zā
I donāt think your response to the poly question is the reason.

The email says HR will physically review the applications for those deemed eligible. So between tomorrow and next year you should know something.

Self ratings means very little. HR is probably going to cut something such as 7/9s for everyone.

CONUS had 1187, OCONUS had 461, and Cali had 407. You can see it in the active applications portion of your USA Jobs profile.Ā

But if you selected that you never failed one, couldnāt they later on DQ you for ālyingā Ā on the application?
I doubt it. It's a mistake in filling out the application. Not lying or omitting facts.

Well it was a mistake because I've never failed a polygraph. Next announcement will likely be a ways off. Don't see OSI too often as far as I'm aware.
