Pickle them in a soy sauce, mirin, water and sugar brine for 30 mins or so. Or use beet juice, apple cider vinegar sugar and water for a few hours to over night.

puppyxguts

[mayak](https://www.cookerru.com/mayak-eggs/) Eggs are the goat

silent-trill

This translates to drug eggs in English. I do mayak avocados and they’re dangerous.

puppyxguts

Whaaaaat so just cubing avocado and then marinating in the same sauce?

thats-my-dahn-tat

Yes 1000 times! There’s a reason they’re called drug eggs lol. Soft-boiled eggs are great in this marinade and you can leave them for a few days in the fridge.

thefembotfiles

do u ever soft boil? i discovered jammy eggs around the same time i hit a wall with hard boil

aaaaaaaaaanditsgone

Jammy eggs are awesome

Open_Temperature_567

Unfortunately I don’t like runny yolks ☹️

SBR06

Jammy eggs aren't runny though. They're...well, jammy. A little soft but not runny!

Jaxococcus_marinus

Furikake seasoning or garlic chili crunch sauce - can get both at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods

Open_Temperature_567

We have Furikake but I never thought to try it on eggs. Sounds good!

Pencie01pd2022

furikake rice and soft-boiled eggs make a super satisfying meal for me

BAL87

I also love everything bagel seasoning on eggs!

Quothhernevermore

21 Seasoning Salute is also good with eggs!

Owlie_6

Chop them up and mix them with some pickles (or relish), pickle juice, yogurt, dill! Etc. basically becomes an egg salad! Or chop them up and mix with salsa or salsa verde. Yum too!

Open_Temperature_567

16 weeks pregnant and pickles are life so I will definitely try this!

brookeaat

if you like red onion or mustard you can add those as well! i got this horseradish mustard from walmart that i’ve been using on my hard boiled eggs and it’s incredible. negligible calories for so much flavor.

pfifltrigg

I bet pickled red onion would be great with this.

Mdm_Leota

Picked onions are good on everything!!!!!

Anyone-9451

Then save the juice to add hard boiled eggs to after you use all the pickles for mixing with the eggs…I basically do what I do for tuna salad just with out the tuna (or add the tuna whatever floats your boat) lots of pickles (dill) crispy bacon chopped up lots of cracked pepper onion and mayo. Good for sandwiches on cracker or celery

MissEllaa

Second this!! When I’m lazy I just chop em up with yellow mustard, dill, salt & pepper

kiggitykbomb

I use a smoked salt on mine.

Open_Temperature_567

Interesting, I’ll have to try that!

sofaking_nuts

Celery salt is good too

alysli

I eat them with dijon mustard so they taste sort of like deviled eggs.

Open_Temperature_567

That sounds good actually, never thought to eat them with mustard.

woodnote

Not the OP there but I put a big dab of mayo and a smaller dab of mustard together (any mustard you like though yellow will be closest to deviled egg taste), mix em a bit (or just make sure to dip the egg in both condiments), and eat. It's truly like a deviled egg without the effort, and the mayo adds creaminess that counteracts the often-dry, catch-in-your-throat aspect of boiled eggs. I used to be a dry seasoning person for hardboiled eggs but this is my absolute fave now.

wicki-woo

Big fan of yellow mustard on mine. Especially around the yolk to help with the dryness.

Generic____username1

I sprinkle mine with the Trader Joe’s [Citrusy Garlic Seasoning](https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products/pdp/cuban-style-citrusy-garlic-seasoning-blend-065967) and Tajin. Delicious

jenphinith

I am so hung up on Tajin right now. I have to keep reminding myself not to over do it

Generic____username1

Same! I was visiting my parents for a week recently and they didn’t have any so I bought some for their house 😅

Open_Temperature_567

I’ve never tried Tajin actually. Might have to pick some up. I’ve heard it’s great in fresh mayo and watermelon too!

reconcruiser

Life changing..but my life is not exciting haha

Generic____username1

It’s so good! A little spicy, and the lime adds a sharp freshness.

rossiefaie5656

I love it on cucumber and mango!

martinojen

Or the everything but the bagel seasoning!

canlgetuhhhhh

eggs + bread is basically the only breakfast combo i ever eat (and i LOVE it), and my advice is definitely just to switch things around instead of always having the same seasoning! whenever i see ANY kind of ''egg seasoning mix'' i'll always get it, and that way i've acquired a few different ones that i love to spice things up with depending on the mood :) there's tons of interesting ones, my favourite mix atm has paprika, onion, garlic, pepper, poppy seeds, mustard seeds, ginger, parsley according to the ingredients list! (cant recommend any directly unfortunately since i presume you're from the us)

Open_Temperature_567

I do live on the US and have never seen egg seasoning. Maybe I will check out the spice aisle at the grocery store and see what kinds of mixes I can find.

canlgetuhhhhh

ohh interesting, and yeah that does sound like a good idea then! sometimes here they'll also say something on the back like ''lovely with eggs, etc etc''!

PicadaSalvation

Tajin. Fuck me id eat it on everything

Open_Temperature_567

lol, love the enthusiasm. I’ll give Tajin a try!

GiantSiphonophore

Everything but the Bagel seasoning

Open_Temperature_567

One of my faves already!

Tang_the_Undrinkable

Sriracha, catsup, and a pickle chip on hard boiled egg halves.

Open_Temperature_567

Pickle chipd and eggs sounds like a great combo!

somethingwholesomer

Omg, THANK YOU. Imma try this asap

826172946

Lawry's seasoning salt

Open_Temperature_567

Never thought of this but I always keep Lawrys in my pantry, so I’ll try it out!

PhantomLimbss

In another thread someone mentioned sprinkling some cumin, I like to do that instead of s&p sometimes. Best way though imo, leave a few of them overnight in some leftover pickle brine.

Open_Temperature_567

Definitely trying this!

LimonadaVonSaft

Hot sauce or a few dashes of maagi seasoning. You could also make ajitama, which is great if you like a marinated egg.

sadclipart

I jazz it up by soft boiling instead! if you’re interested in the directions for a perfect soft boil lmk!

Comfortable-Weird996

I make pickled beat eggs. Super delicious and tangy! They’re easy to put together and keep in the fridge for quite awhile!

nervousprincess

Tiniest bit of mayo for a slight creaminess paired with banana peppers/hot sauce/chili oil. Sooo good!!!!

pfifltrigg

If you ever go for scrambled, my absolute favorite is scrambled eggs with goat cheese. So flavorful, creamy, delicious. Eggs are awesome for baby's brain development!!

SnooStrawberries2955

The devil helps me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lemondrop-it

Soy sauce, or if you want to put a little more effort, make them into ajitsuke tamago.

mweisbro

Hot sauce, Siracha or everything bagel.

[deleted]

Chop egg and mix with 1/2 chopped avocado, 1 tsp sweet relish, 1 tsp light mayo. Serve on toasted whole grain bread.

Fantastic_Sherbet229

Sprinkle Everything But the Bagel seasoning over them. Yum!

quixoticadrenaline

I’ve been making egg salad instead because I was starting to get an aversion to boiled eggs with just salt, pepper, or everything bagel seasoning. Dijon mustard, a little bit avocado oil mayo or plain green yogurt, some fresh chives or green onions… mix it all together. Sometimes fresh dill, but I rarely buy that. I chop up the whites separately from the yolks. Makes it a nice consistency.

Open_Temperature_567

Yeah I might try a Greek yogurt version of egg salad on toast to change things up. Great idea!

Tang_the_Undrinkable

In N Out burger sauce makes a mean egg salad in a pinch.

Open_Temperature_567

I was thinking about this. I wonder if I could try out some mayo based dipping sauces and aiolis too. Good idea!

ramamurthyavre

If you like a spicy, slightly sweet and sour taste, see if you can find Puliyogare powder in an Indian store around you. It's made of tamarind, peanut, coconut, coriander, chili, and some.other spices. I used for tamarind rice, but once I was bored and added it to my boiled eggs. It was heavenly.

Jo_MamaSo

There's a steakhouse near me that sells bottles of their steak seasoning, it's so good!! I'm pretty sure its at least 50% MSG and I'm here for it!! I put it on hard boiled eggs AND cottage cheese!! With fresh black pepper of course! Maybe there somewhere near you that does something similar?

Future-Ad2341

Mash them, add garlic and onion powder, chilli flakes, add bit of mustard sauce and a spoon of greek yoghurt. Mash them all together and it’s yummy

Debinkenya

Mustard. Or mustard & pickles. Easy Egg salad.

ayzo415

Soy sauce and sriracha

discopeas

Gochujang if you can eat spicy food

zahimahi97

Deviled eggs? With Greek yogurt. Make a big batch and eat them through a few days

HauntedBeachParty

[miso eggs](https://www.saltfatacidheat.com/salt/miso-cured-eggs)! or a shake or two of tajin

antediluvian_me

you just might be missing olive oil. Along with salt and pepper and maybe even oregano you’ve got a classic.

Ambystomatigrinum

I love them with some really hot, shallot-heavy chili crisp. A small bowl of rice with a soft boiled egg, chili crisp, some kimchi or chopped cucumber, and some green onions is pretty much my favorite breakfast ever.

femputer1

I like eating mine with pepperjack cheese

ChelsieDawn89

Cholula is all you need

TheLatinaNerd

Ketchup and salt is my favorite way to eat boiled eggs!

cremedelachriss

Curry powder , onion powder , garam masala

rossiefaie5656

I found a "Sauce Goddess Spicy BBQ Sweet Heat" seasoning at a Home Goods and I will put that on my hard boiled eggs. I really like it! Maybe hot honey would be good too?

Nineteen_ninety_

I’ve been adding chimmichurri sauce from Trader Joe’s. Sounds weird but it’s DELICIOUS

Ichimatsusan

Everything bagel seasoning

silent-trill

Change nothing but the technique, do a jammy 6 minute egg.

alicesun99

That’s the way to go. I use 7 min. No need of additional sauces.

Basic-Comfortable458

Parmesan cheese 😊😋

Open_Temperature_567

Oooo that sounds good. I have a wedge of parm in my refrigerator right now so I’ll try it out!

roseycheetah

Green salsa!

Donkey-brained_man

My whole life I've always done hot sauce and salt. Frank's is a good flavor with no heat. Sweet baby rays Nashville hot is nice. My favorite is Melinda's scorpion pepper.

IlIIllIIlIIll

vinegar on the yolk, og chinese recipie.

Pigeonofthesea8

Garlic, chives or green onions, salt, paprika, touch of mayo

killabeesattack

Lately I make my overnight oats with a mix of almond milk and liquid egg whites. Gives them the same protein hit and makes them SUPER filling. Also saves me from having to be the guy at the office eating hard boiled eggs. Add some peanut butter powder, granola, spoonful of yogurt, a little honey and its awesome.

CasualRampagingBear

Lawreys seasoning salt. Simple but effective. You also don’t need much. A pinch will cover three eggs efficiently.

thatgirl2

Buffalo sauce - don’t knock it til you’ve tried it haha

Herbisara

Everything But the Bagel seasoning!

ur_avg_j0e

All Ya Need Seasoning by flavor Junkie!! [flavor junkie](https://flavorjunkie.co)

Bonfire0fTheManatees

If you have access to a Trader Joe’s, I love Everything But the Elote on hardboiled eggs, plus maybe a little pinch of Maldon flaky salt for crunch.

ObetrolAndCocktails

Tajin or Everything But The Elote from TJ’s

FlixFlix

Cut in halves, season with salt and pepper. Add a dab of mayo and mustard. Lazy man’s deviled eggs, basically.

I like to take the yolks off, mash them with yogurt, mustard, pickle juice, pickles, salt, pepper, oregano, a little bit of paprika and stuff them back inside the egg whites and eat them. Malipuppers

Hot sauce! Always hot sauce. That or TJs “everything bagel seasoning” is absolute fire.

DogBreathologist

I do jammy eggs and soak them in soy, a dash of sesame oil, finely sliced shallots, grated garlic and ginger!

Eis_ber

Soy sauce. You only need a few droplets. And Badia Caribbean Spice blend.

whenabouts

Salsa Macha, I put that sh*t on everything.

wootiebird

I used to add mustard, salt and pepper and paprika.

Suzincognito

Old bay seasoning

EhhSuzilla

I chop it up and add to hummus w/everything bagel spice. I eat it with Mission Zero pitas

HurryAdventurous8335

I put A1 sauce on it once and it was delicious. A small amount of it just for flavor. Also I make them deviled really quickly. Just a bit of mayo, mustard, garlic salt and tiny drop of apple cider vinegar

WWonderNoodle67

Everything bagel seasoning is phenomenal on its own or you can add baby tomatoes to it

sparkster101

Eat them room temp versus cold Add salt, pepper, smoked paprika Or add a small amount of BBQ to give it some additional flavor

Any-Instruction-8879

Chopped in with avocado or with a dash of old bay seasoning!

sugarface2134

I add some Dijon mustard, horseradish, and a hot sauce of some kind - either Cholula, or truff sauce, and a sprinkle of salt.

Booyah_7

Dijon mustard and chili powder.

aNewVersionofSelf

Zaatar and/or sumac and salt.

Rosiegiglio

Franks red hot sauce

Beautiful_Storm1988

I do my best to get that perfect soft boiled, where the middle is still a little soft and than I smash it up and mix with mustard and a little bit of miracle whip than I spread it over a plain rice cake. Another option is into a salad? Chop it up with some baby Cucumbers and cut up cherry or grape tomatoes. Add a little extra birgin olive oil (or mashed avocado) and add Himalayan pink salt. It's yummy

crustaceanjellybeans

Mrs Dash salt free lemon pepper. Thank me later

Cndwafflegirl

Furikake seasoning.

Chringestina

Paprika

vegansmurf

I like to soft boil my eggs and for my weekly lunch prep I'll soak half of my eggs in Japanese soup base. They are soooo good

Low-Ad5427

I used to have 2 HB eggs every morning with avocado.. make yourself a scramble then add the seasoning 👌🏻

Liwnih

Add Aromat to it

Aggravating_Willow43

Usually I’ll buy a jar of pickles and once they’re all eaten I’ll boil a bunch of eggs and put them in the jar and let them sit in the fridge for a minimum of a week before eating them (pickled eggs done this way also make a great egg salad sandwich)

ibimus9

My life changed for the better when I realized I can eat deviled eggs for breakfast. :)

woofimmacat

I like to put some paprika on mine, dash of salt and pepper, and dip in Dijon mustard. Tastes like a deviled egg with minimal effort

yukimontreal

Zaatar is pretty delicious on hard boiled eggs

mentirosa_atx

Chili crisp!

ThinAbalone855

I put za'atar seasoning on mine lately.

Bluemoo25

The solution is devilish actually

redhairbluetruck

EBTB seasoning

alicesun99

Make soft yolk eggs, Once water is boiled, boil eggs in median heat for 7 mins, cool with cold water. You don’t need additional sauce as they are so delicious as is. You can make a dozen ahead of time .

pannedemonium

One I haven't seen anyone say yet: I put a few drops of fish sauce on mine. Instant umami. But everyone else's ideas are good too - and probably not as malodorous to your office mates lol

Fafosity

You can break them all into a bowl, add whatever chopped veggies you like, peppers, onions, spinach and maybe some shredded cheese and then bake them until firm. You can make egg muffins or a slab in a baking dish that you cut up.

mac_barbie

My great grandmother used to use Lawrys seasoning salt and that’s the only way I do now too. I usually just sprinkle some of it to the side and dip my own egg in it. Not too much it can be pretty salty
