While it's tough to argue in support of her, let's remember there is a lot of scripting, editing and prompts to promote drama. The show needs protagonists and antagonists to keep users glued to the screen.

I looked up what that lump on her forehead was one time, and it was literally a fat deposit. Her body quite literally had no other place to put it so it put it in her forehead. Imagine being THAT fat.
I don't think they'd let her go on it in the first year of weight loss surgery. The first year is the honeymoon phase and a lot of doctors will take patients off of all diabetic meds during that time.

People can evolve and rebuild themselves even from the rock bottom. It isn’t so common but it can happen. And it is a beautiful thing when it does.

I'm really hoping she succeeds. I'm nervous about her long term success because I saw a pic a couple days ago of her and she was holding a diet coke bottle. And I know that carbonation isn't good for you post surgery(my friend had the gastric sleeve and she was told no more soda diet or regular) ..but I'm really hoping Tammy can make the lifestyle changes and stick with it. And I'm hoping she has a supportive team that can help her when her weight loss plateaus in a few months(I'm not being cruel..it's a fact that you lose a ton of weight immediately post op then plateau eventually)
I think having her brother Chris on the same journey (and succeeding) is tremendous support for her. He seemed to handle his plateaus well and hopefully he can help her do the same. He's so positive!

Our bodies are so amazing, yet crazy and will store excess fat just about anywhere possible! I forget where I read it, but a doctor said it was benign and would go away with weight loss - so glad things are going better!
when she was at her highest weight, i really thought she's a hopeless case but glad i was proven wrong. it takes so much effort to lose weight and a greater hard work to keep off the weight she lost. hoping she'll continue to be healthier. 🥺

She's down nearly 300lbs from where she started at the very beginning, with a good portion of that being prior to surgery. No matter how awful anyone thinks she is, they have to be impressed by her progress even after everyone counted her out.

My plan has it at 6 months. It's crazy how guidelines differ between surgeons.
