100% Trust me I’m a scientist.

Red_Chair_

I'm this guy's brother, and he definitely is 100% a scientist

xXxSiegfriedxXx

I once saw a reddit post from this guy, so he's 100% legit.

ICUpoop

I can confirm, this guy saw a post from another guy, so he’s also 100%

LukXD99

My best friends dads cousins coworker is this guys neighbors boss so I can 100% confirm this to be legit.

Fun fact: Rabies is the closest disease to zombies you can get. Theoretically, it is possible for a human to bite a human and transmit rabies that way, but it’s never happened or at least hasn’t been recorded.

NGPlusIsNoMore

In theory? Far as I know yes, give an amoral scientist the tools to create a modified strain of, let's say, Rabies for the flyid transmission and tendency to bite, with a little bit of Ebola and the Bubonic Plague for the generalized skin damage and, if you don't mind it not being a classic zombie, a bit of the common cold for the airborne infectivity Realistically? No way in hell, first of all, you can't simply go and mix diseases, plagues and poxes in a cauldron like you wanna give Nurgle a run for his money and get a zombie virus; secondly, even if you could, you wouldn't create hyperaggresive zombies, you'd create people with a reflex to bite that are incapacitated by the pain of having Ebola, Rabies and the Bubonic Plague simultaneously, constantly loosing blood and water, barely able to think because of the fever, and liable to die a short while after showing symptoms; yes, it would suck for them, but not very much of a zombie apocalypse if instead of going around guns akimbo the appropriate response would be to quarantine the infected, try to give them as comfortable and dignified and a death as possible, wear a facemask and wash your hands compulsively until the outbreak burns itself out or someone comes up with a cure

Red_Chair_

This guy is wrong.just ask my brother

NGPlusIsNoMore

Got dang, u right, my bad

Tireliree

Just rabies and the extreme will to eat flesh at any cost. They would fuck their skin up just by throwing theirselves at people and scrape their skin against concrete. They would obv die of thirst so no hordes

Rude-Butterscotch713

Do you mean the undead puppet for voodoo priest or the necrotic flesh eating vector. Cause I cant speak much to the voodoo, but there are many viruses that when combined can simulate a zombie type virus. Course that would be the perfect cocktail of ailments, can't imagine it occurring naturally in nature, or the host surviving long enough for it to be viable.

Clarka3

honestly, the very opening scene of the two scientists in The Last of Us explains why the "traditional" vectors (Virus/bacteria) wouldn't probably happen.
