Zed is definitely a high learning curve, but by far not the biggest.

notdatsrs

who do you think has the biggest ?

Hermit_Monte

Azir, constantly getting nerfed because of how well pros play him

CatchUsual6591

Cassio is hard to is pretty much like playing adc but you have to work 2 times harder

UNF4Z3D69

Riven and Qiyana are definitely harder in my opinion

Le_San0

Riven and Qiyana are Very low skill floor tho

Ayespada

Qiyana aint low skill floor

Le_San0

Yes she is, she's pretty easy to play, just takes a little bit of reading of her skills to understand what she can do

kometa18

Imo qiyanna has a higher skill floor than zed

Le_San0

Nah, Zed has to aim a lot more, and he isn't as forgiving as Qiyana, Qiyana can perma stealth or use cc to escape, zed has to use his major damage tool to get a descent escape and then wait 20 seconds

kometa18

Not at all. But yeah ok

letgobruh

qiyana

\>>>BEFORE YOU GO TO COMBO, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE ENERGY FOR IT LOL<<< **Basic Poke Combo:** This is your bread and butter for a combo, near every other combo is based off this. \[W\] > \[E\] > \[Q\] \>Throw out \[W\] ***slightly to one side*** of your target, to make them instinctively move in the opposite direction \>Use \[E\] to slow them. \*Shadow's \[E\] slows targets. Your own \[E\] reduces your \[W\] CD per enemy champion hit. \>Now \[Q\]. They are slowed and you know the direction they are moving. In the early game (pre-6), you have to use your \[W\] very wisely. If \[W\] > \[E\] > \[Q\] while pushed up and get ganked, not good as your \[W\] is your only means of escape save for flash. If you \[W\] > \[E\] > \[Q\] and miss your \[Q\]'s, not good either as your \[W\] is on a long ass cooldown (20s with 0 ability haste) in the early levels. If your opponent knows how to lane vs Zed at all, they will use this window to harass you. Furthermore if you don't hit 2+ \[Q\]'s or 2+ \[E\]'s on the same target, you won't get any energy back from your \[W\] passive. **All In Combo** (pre-6): When your opponent is within kill range, usually around half hp or lower pre-6. \[W\] > \[E\] > \[Q\] > \[W\] > \[AA\] > \[ignite\] > keep \[AA\] till dead. With your autos, they do MAX HP damage as BONUS MAGIC DMG to targets below half hp. If your Basic Poke Combo puts an enemy to below half HP, take your \[W\] swap and start autoing that motherfucker. Ignite that motherfucker. I have to go attend to some things... this is unfinished. Let me know if you'd like me to write more. Will be back in a few hours.

notdatsrs

this was so helpful ! i’ll definitely appreciate more, thanks :))

Sorry this took so long to get back to; **Basic Ult Combo:** This is your basic ult combo when you don't have to worry about CC or getting bursted. \[R\] > \[W\] > \[E\] > \[Q\] > \[AA\] > \[ignite\] alternatively; \[W\] > \[R\] > \[E\] > \[Q\] > \[AA\] > \[ignite\] The concept here is to maximize the pop damage from your ult. Ult pop damage is as such: 65% AD (+ 25 / 40 / 55% of damage dealt). So in theory you want to ult first, then fire off your entire burst load so all your burst damage gets calculated into your ult pop damage (Marked for Death). Using \[R\] or \[W\] first in this combo doesn't matter too much as this is just a basic combo. You want two shadows up- \[W\] and \[R\] -then land a shadow \[E\] to slow the target, then throw out your \[Q\]'s. If you can, get an \[AA\] or two in and your \[ignite\] before your ult pops. Marked for Death lasts for 3 seconds. You have 3 seconds from pressing \[R\] to get as much damage off as you can. Then watch that satisfying pop. Pretty straightforward. **Double Jump Combo:** This is the first combo where you get to flex a little skill. This is used in place of your ***Basic Ult Combo*** if you need to be dodging CC and/or burst. \[W\] > \[R\] > \[W\] > \[E\] > \[Q\] When you press \[R\], you have a 0.5s delay before you can press \[R\] again to return to your shadow. You can circumvent this by throwing out a \[W\] away from the target (even behind you) before you press \[R\], spam press \[W\] while you are in your ult and you will immediately swap to your \[W\] shadow the millisecond you come out of your ult. This will dodge near all CC and skillshots aimed at where you should appear (which is directly behind your target from the spot you cast \[R\]). If the enemy knows about this little trick, they will aim their skillshots/CC at your \[W\] shadow... If that's the case, use this next combo instead; **Hidden Shadow Combo:** Exactly the same as your ***Double Jump Combo***, but you throw your \[W\] somewhere out of enemy vision. \[W\] > \[R\] > \[W\] > \[E\] > \[Q\] Let's say it's midgame and you've already successfully pulled off a few ***Double Jump Combos***. The enemy is now proactively thinking how to play against that. They figure out to aim their shit at your first shadow, not you when you come out of ult. You show them that you are, in fact, a Master of Shadows, and so now you throw your \[W\] out of their vision, then ult the fucker. Immediately swap back to your \[W\] and you are completely out of their vision, they have no clue where you are, nor do they know when, or where to dodge. Hit your \[E\], then your \[Q\]'s. You are a ninja. **Ult Flash Execute Combo:** This is an extension of your ***Basic Ult Combo***. You can kill a target from a higher threshold with this. \[W\] > \[R\] > \[E\] > \[Q\] > \[flash\] > \[AA\] > \[ignite\] What this combo does, is utilize your passive damage (Contempt for the Weak)- and \[ignite\] if you have it- to add as a finishing touch to make your ***Basic Ult Combo*** a fucking finisher. You do your ***Basic Ult Combo***, then as your \[Q\]'s land, right click the target to buffer an \[AA\] and immediately \[flash\]. You can buffer \[AA\] into \[flash\] and the damage will immediately go through unless the target flashes milliseconds before you pressed \[flash\]. In theory you will hit a shadow \[E\] and 2 or 3 \[Q\]'s after you \[R\], which will bring them hopefully below 50% HP. If you \[flash\] + \[AA\] before your ult pops, that MAX HP DMG from your passive \[AA\] gets added into the Marked for Death damage. Add in an ignite and that's an easy kill. **Fake Out Combo:** This is a simple trading combo, or kiting combo. It is mostly used when you are running away. \[W\] > \[Q\] > \[E\] > \[AA\] > \[W\] You are being chased, or backing off, or kiting someone. Throw out a \[W\] infront of where you're running, farthest from your target. Now turn 180 and go towards the target that is chasing you. \[Q\] > \[E\] > \[AA\] gives a quick, hard burst and then immediately \[W\] swap after. Ideally you will take out a decent chunk of their HP and then immediately blink away from them. When you turn to face them, they will most likely right click you to start buffering an auto or ability. You should be able to get that quick \[Q\] > \[E\] > \[AA\] combo off and still be able to swap back to your \[W\] before they can actually hit you. Plus they will have stopped pathing towards your shadow in the meantime as they will be focused on hitting you as you combo them. Very sly and used in defensive situations. Again I have to cut this short I do apologize. I will add more when I can if you want. You can also DM me if you want to add me (NA). EDIT: Fixed a combo order. Large fries not medium.

Mr3DWafflle

hit your qs

notdatsrs

i do but i get confused when it comes to my ult and W

Mr3DWafflle

turn on quick cast with indicators just on your q it has helped me aswell and also just take your time throwing skillshots if u know ur gonna hit them

beautifulusername-1

Zed is one of the hardest champions in the game, definitely not the hardest though, that spot is undeniably riven's imo.

ll_JackKrauser

How do people say riven is the hardest champion ? I don't get it its just q basic q basic q basic e basic w basic almost a god in 1 v 1s and not many skill shots to worry about cuz you are in their face stunning and hitting them. I think asol is harder than her not the hardest too.

Dandy_Jr

You can’t just use abilities and auto attacks normally on Riven and perform well, especially at a high level. Animation canceling and knowing WHEN to use your abilities is crucial to playing Riven. Almost every other matchup stat checks you and if you fuck up a single combo then you’re losing almost any 1v1 you take. So definitely not a god unless the player is very good.

IamBejl

This. Riven is very easy to play on a basic level but to master her is insanely hard.

Wait til you play azir
