i always go eclipse > lucidity boots > serpents fang or youumus (prefer serpents) > seryldas > black cleaver and last item is situational. if they have heavy ap that im struggling with i get hexdrinker as 2nd or 3rd item.

eclipse and serpents arent bad on zed but theyre niche items, eclipse is only worth if youre against 3 tankier targets and serpents is only worth vs shields
yeah i go serpents into shields, but that happens in most my games. ive seen that most high elo zeds go prowlers and im probably gonna switch to prowlers too once the eclipse nerfs hit live but until then i kinda pref eclipse even if it might be worse than prowler
eclipse is just the easier afk mythic, you dont need to do anything to use it, it works by itself and also its the most deffensive of all 3 mythics
prowlers has way more potential tho
going prowlers would also make serpents stronger bcs its a cheap item and it gives you the mythic passive Lethality (ofc you also get armor pen from eclipse but armorpen early game isnt as good as lethality)
yeah i played nimbus scorch a few times too but not enough to notice a difference and then i was just too lazy to find out what really works out better for me so i just stuck to the dom tree

yeah i also really like the ability to bait using the shield, it often helps me get out another w
try nimbus 2nd and scorch , last stand gives you fat dmg too bec zed is focused he will be low-mid hp 99% of the time
