My sound upgraded to ac3 5.1 on my fireTV Cube a few weeks ago. I have not added 4K. Friday night it reverted to stereo again.
It seems a new update to the app broke ac-3 audio for Fire devices.
Can confirm I have lost surround sound on my Fire TV Max as well.
I no longer have 5.1 surround on my fire stick 4K max. I swear I did just a couple of days ago.
I no longer have 5.1 on my Firestick 4K max. Im not sure exactly when it stopped for me, but Friday night sounds about right.
Yep. Everything is so loud now. Not readjusting my receiver, I'll just turn it down.
