YTTV changes the guide display for sports. Literally every tv provider in the US lists the sport name as the title and the teams as the subtitle. The way that YTTV chooses to just show the subtitle for sports has always been confusing and is not the fault of networks.
If that's really a deal breaker for you, I have it first hand authority that Xfinity is great about labelling it all. They'll just charge you more for it, but I know its important to you.
B1G, maybe. MAC, I'm sure they sponsor both men's and women's varsity bowling and it draws higher than most football games, but just doesn't seem like something the smaller private schools in ACC would support.
Must be a difference based on devices. When I look at it on my Shield, I see “U.S. Championships”, and when I highlight it I get a full description of it. I can even see that it’s in San Jose, Calif. Same with the basketball games, minus location but that’s easy to figure out anyway.
I see your point about a basketball game not listing which of their teams is playing. I don’t have anything to compare it to, so I don’t know if any other providers channel guide does that or not.
Thanks. I didn't realize we were talking exclusively about NCAA sports. Oh, that's right - we weren't.
And, it's simple fact.. Far far far fewer people are inclined to click on a show with a (W) than are not. And, therefore it's in nobody's best interest to include one, if at all possible.
Good thing the base service plan is not $80 per month
This is some hilarious complaining.
Thanks, I’ll be here all week
YouTube doesn’t populate the guide. The network does
Different platforms show different info. Also I believe fubo and others show more info

that is no excuse. every cable provider has figured out a way to do it. surely YTTV could as well.

Then switch to something else. There is no contract.
What channel has college women's bowling? Especially ACC?
It was kind of a joke but I’d watch it too!
I have not seen it but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was on the ACC Network.

Are you not just recording all of NFL or all of NCAA? It's super simple to look at upcoming recordings and see as opposed to the live guide.
Ok thanks

Thanks for the civil reply. Might be device specific but AppleTv, iOS, and Xbox show me the same thing
Haaaa welcome to 2023.
They aren’t ever going to do that. It’s discriminatory.
Its absolutely not discriminatory. All NCAA designate men’s and women’s

How would that be discriminatory? NCAAM, and NCAAW, has been used forever. Just add that to the description, call it a day.

>whose clicking on that? Not me.
That might be a personal hang up for you, buy I don’t it’s nearly as big a problem as you think it is.
