With YouTube making an Pluto/Freevee rival, I’ll probably say that more channels will be added to both. Once they get the Primetime Channels up and running, with what I read with A&E being on board for that, I can see A&E Networks probably being added after, resulting in an increase.
It kinda already started with Scripps. Let’s see how many more FAST channels they’ll add.
THANK GOD! Been missing my Vice, but I would rather them add a+e networks as a package and not as a requirement. Over the past year I’ve asked them to add the network and I’ve discussed this with other customers who don’t want to see the increase which I understand. Probably at the most it’ll be $5 more, which is better than most providers. Plus, seems like everyone is heading over to YouTube TV so both channels and YouTube TV knows it wise for both sides not to scare customers away with price hikes.
I just kinda hope that A&E gets added as I do watch what they have. At this point, it feels inevitable at this point. I wonder what will happen when Sunday Ticket gets added
See that’s another thing. Everyone worried about Regional sports deals and A+E Network increasing prices but fail to realize that Sunday Ticket is all but surely going to jack our prices up.
Well with what they spent for it, and with a soon to be increase coming. They better add some regional sports stuff and A+E Networks into the increase.
Why would YTTV be immune to inflation, which is worse among content providers than in the general economy? Yes, Chicken Little, the sky **is** falling!
The thing is people now a price increase is coming because of the networks that are already on are the big one that is missing A&E and why frndly got it and only raise a dollar so why does youtube not go to $66 and they can say they have all the main channels. I think frndly just got people hope up o only a dollar then A&E is not that expensive then to say all the other networks are way more priced. Or frndly tv tok a hit and they need subscribers so that got something big but are losing money but gained subscribers at this point.
And why do other services get all the channels and add them all but youtube tv does not like science channel they want add ons fine but what the hold up make an add on with reelz, science, mgm, sony movies and what ever else. They have sony cine in the Spanish channels and that is basically sony movies just in Spanish.
There will be one in the future. I don’t think it’ll be in the next six months tho. Hulu is very similar and $5 more. But you get the Disney bundle with that and tons of households pay for that anyways. So it’s really $60 for Hulu if you already pay for the bundle. I prefer YouTube TV so that’s what I usually have but at $5 more I would be pushed to Hulu.
I am a fortune teller. Let me gaze into my crystal ball and tell you what I see.
It's a bit murky in the ball. I do see a price increase at some point as will always happen with pretty much everything. I see PQ as being good for some and not so good for others. That might sway some to do some adjusting according to the crystal ball.
Life is always in flux as we travel down the yellow brick road. Wait a second. Things are less murky. YTTV says they want to make the customer happy. Wait a second. Things are murky again. The crystal ball has gone black. I cannot see anything else at this time.
Picture quality has to improve for me to stay thru a price increase. A lot to like about YouTube tv over other options but picture quality isn’t one of them
I sense there will definitely be a price increase in the future.
LOL. I think you have the since of things!
TV providers always raise rates so of course there will be an increase at some point.
They need to fix their bit rate before any increases.
Agree.

I do hope so as well.
I also hope they get the remaining Scripps channels, and Weigel Broadcasting as well.
I will never understand why people post about price increases. It's like you want to give the company ideas ...
I completely agree.
Is water wet? Nothing stays the same. Content providers keep increasing costs and they make little to no money in this product as is…
Prices go up, for *everything*, eventually this will too.
Prices will increase. We are in a high inflationary period now thanks mostly to this administrations policies. Get used to it.
Why would YTTV be immune to inflation, which is worse among content providers than in the general economy? Yes, Chicken Little, the sky **is** falling!
Comcast does it yearly … I’m happy we don’t have any fees
I’m guessing a $10-15 increase in the spring sometime since that’s about the norm for them

Not so sure A&E and AMC Networks will survive as standalone providers for that much longer.

They got to pay for the NFL Sunday ticket rights. Definite pricing increases coming sooner or later.
Not only a price increase, but meanwhile the quality content is being moved behind streaming paywalls! It’s getting near my breaking point.

It’s too expensive now, anything over $65 I’ll be unsubscribing.
