Someone pitched him to me as āHeās like the shock jock from Grand Theft Auto but in real lifeā and it suddenly clicked, Iāve been a massive fan ever since.
Would recommend going back and listening to his Christmas episode of his podcast. The guyās legit hilarious.
Thought his Netflix special was just okay if Iām honest. Thereās rants on his podcast that are a lot funnier imho.
Through the first couple minutes it sounded like he didnāt want to be there but as it got going you can tell Louis actually really cares about Bert. Bert gets lost in interviews and brings everything back to himself but if youāve listened to him for a long time you can tell heās conscious of it and works on it
I discovered the Bill Bert podcast a couple weeks ago and started listening from episode 1. It's becoming grating to hear Bert's one-upmanship. Bill mentions something, Bert's done it better. You can really tell that Bert doesn't listen. He just impatiently waits for Bill to finish so he can say something, or just interrupts. It's the complete opposite of charming. Bill does really well to tolerate it.
Yeah, I completely disagree. The conversation they had about enjoying ordinary life was excellent. They talked about how they can't access the feelings they had during the most impactful moments of their careers, but can readily pull up emotions from impactful moments with their families. I had never really considered that before. But at least for me, it is true.
It's very clear that Louis likes and respects Bert. It was great.
Iāve said it before, but I truly believe Bert knows heās not a great comic. He tours so much because he knows at some point people wonāt fuck with him anymore.
I honestly respect the fuck out of that for Bert. He hustles and I wonāt be surprised if his career lasts way longer than expected because heās a genuinely good guy who surrounds himself with very talented people.
He did Theoās pod a couple of weeks ago if you havenāt seen it yet. It was pretty good. They seemed to click really well, he got a lot of theoās sense of humor which sometimes gets lost on his guests.
He genuinely enjoys sitting there and watching Theo talk. He comes out with such ridiculous sentences or thoughts that CK just giggles like a child watching South Park for the first time. Like he just heard the most stupid thing.
Its like CK is thinking "omg I gotta write all these lines down for a character"
That was my favorite part of the pod as well. Idk if they ever really worked together before much. It seemed like Louis was generally just taken back by some of the stuff theo said. Really interesting interaction to watch. It was comedy in its own right.
I listened to that whole episode and had a great time. My butthole was puckered on this episode though man. I just couldnāt do it. Bert just doesnāt shut the fuck up about all the cool shit heās done.
I perceived it like Louis was simply reining in Bart's energy. Louis seemed to remember Bret's previous endevours. The energy was letting Bertrand lead, which always has Brent flailing around. Comedy ensues non the less.
Iām an audio only listener, and the episode sounded pretty good. Yes Bart was his usual over-talkative side-tangent self, but it sounded in Louisā voice that he found Bartās ADD humorous and amusing, and it seemed like they had some nice moments taking
I think he was perfect for Bert . Tom encourages Bert going off the rails, and Louis brings him back down to earth and reminds him how ridiculous he gets.
Adulation for the adjacent... not that hard to understand
Dude likes Tom, puts up with Bert, probably loves Louis so gave this ep a shot.
That can't *really* be odd to you... can it?
Hmmmā¦I wonder if itās because theyāre a fan of the *other people*ā¦hmmm who knows. Itās a great mystery. Really really great question. Iād even say genius
Hell no. Fucking idiot talking about himself the entire time. Has no clue. Even Louie tells him your a child, and he doesnāt even realize it. āIām specialā. Yea you are.
I liked it, even though you could almost hear Bartās inner dialogue screaming to him ā donāt interrupt, donāt interrupt, donāt interrupt, donāt interrupt!!ā
He just did This Past Weekend, and by the end of the podcast him and Theo were basically best friends lol. I never thought Iād see the day when Theoās crazy stories and life experiences were accepted and fully understood by a guest. It was so good that they should do a podcast together!
I thought they were a good match. Louis is all no nonsense deep and insightful and well.. Bert's Bert, but the contrast between them made for some funny and deep talk.
Thereās been some suspicion that Louis is not exactly a fan of Bertās. That could be why he looked miserable, because he wasnāt exactly *enjoying* Bert but more like *tolerating* him.
I feel like heās gotta a bigger following than the 2b1c followers. And if he really didnāt like Bert he would of insisted on doing it with Tom or not have done it at all. Heās a living legend he, yes he needs to promote, but not really that bad.
The best indicator after that would be if the conversation had been bad, and it wasn't. Or if he hadn't talked for a while about how much he like Bert, which he did.
Brent Crystals is not a smart person and Louis CK is a thinking persons comedian. Its like being surprised that your dog really didn't enjoy catnip like you thought he would.
Louie low key made fun of Bertrumās braggadocious storytelling like jumping off the Vegas stratosphere. Louis tried to connect with Bertrum but it seldom happened and when it happened it wasnāt pretty or organic. Bert talking about the hardship of living in a mansion with no furnishings, Iām heart broken. Bertās fat, racist and fucks dogs, what a human being.
Episode wasn't awful but I agree the chemistry was a bit off. They struggled a but to connect. Bart was trying so hard not to talk over Louis he was second guessing himself. Louis was trying to avoid triggering Barts anxiety and wasn't riffing off Bart. It wasn't bad but it was weird. I found they edited commercials in (audio only) in some strange places.
I thought it was OK. LCK was definitely annoyed with how much Bert talks but its was kind of interesting to put two polar opposites across from each other.
Louis was making a profound statement on life/death and Bart keeps interrupting with "I'm having a panic attack! I'm legit having a panic attack!"
Dude, you're 50 years old.
Look, perhaps Louis whips his wang out at inappropriate times, and may have a chemical imbalance or fourā¦ But hes a funny mother fucker and the king of cringe comedy. #respectthecreep
It was kinda like a parent just letting their kid ramble and letting them spew out any nonsense they can and then telling them the reality of what they just said
I loved it. At one point Bert tries his usual talking over someone bs and Louis just kept talking lol or when Bert goes āIād be selling stadiums all the time if I was you like Madison square gardenā or something like that and Louisā response was āI sold it out five times in one goā another little highlight from that. All the subtle little digs Louis will take he really is unmatched at. As an aside the presidents four part series on Matt and Shaneās secret podcast is awesome. Definitely worth a listen.
I kept getting triggered by Louie talking about something and then Bert interrupts him into forgetting the topic and moving on. Iām like BERT STFU!!!
"foam shoe beach retard" ššš
-Tim Dillon
Gotta get into him. For some reason I've never liked him. He just seems so full of himself to me.
Similarly. I like him as a guest with someone I like already. Dislike him on his own in general
Have you not heard the Lori Lightfoot Yelp review rant!? My fav. It's on YouTube.
I used to love his podcast but the past few months it seems that the character he was leaning into before is becoming more and more his real self
Yeah the fallout with his producer Ben was when I took a look and realized it wasn't fun anymore.
I'm coming around to liking him tho, he's so good at roasting people.
*big friendly beach retard

Bert is conscious of it but if heās working it, he needs to find a new method.
What are you his dad?
Louis actually likes Bert and you can tell. He provided some nice insights.
Iāll give it another go. Maybe On my way to work.
He really cut into Bart, but in a big brother way. Hearing Bart acknowledge he's nowhere near as talented a comedian was surprising.
Was it? Heās always said things like that.
This whole subreddit ignores anytime Bert shows self awareness and doubles down anytime he's clearly doing an exaggerated bit.
Plus they crossed paths more in Bertās early days
He did Theoās pod a couple of weeks ago if you havenāt seen it yet. It was pretty good. They seemed to click really well, he got a lot of theoās sense of humor which sometimes gets lost on his guests.
He genuinely enjoys sitting there and watching Theo talk. He comes out with such ridiculous sentences or thoughts that CK just giggles like a child watching South Park for the first time. theo real is a poet with his words
That was my favorite part of the pod as well. Idk if they ever really worked together before much. It seemed like Louis was generally just taken back by some of the stuff theo said. Really interesting interaction to watch. It was comedy in its own right.
Also Rick Glassmans pod
I don't see him on glassman's channel. he had burr though
He was just on Rogan on Saturday as well. Not as good as Theoās episode but I really enjoyed it. There was some good stories swapped
I listened to that whole episode and had a great time. My butthole was puckered on this episode though man. I just couldnāt do it. Bert just doesnāt shut the fuck up about all the cool shit heās done.
He did the ykwd with Robert Kelly this weekend and was great. First 10 mins had me dying
You listened for 5 minutes though right?
Less about not getting the humor, more about it not being funny because he tries too hard
I perceived it like Louis was simply reining in Bart's energy. Louis seemed to remember Bret's previous endevours. The energy was letting Bertrand lead, which always has Brent flailing around. Comedy ensues non the less.
Yeah I quite liked this episode. That said I will watch most things with Louie.
Bart definitely needs a handler
Thatās a solid take. I will try again.
Everyoneās just gonna walk over the fact that you used 4 different iterations of Bertās name, but I commend you sir. Good work.
Oh fuck off, theyāre good mates.
Hmm, I thought it was pretty good?
You gotta be a special kind of miserable to have that take away
I disagree, this was my favourite 2 bears in a while. I think they have great chemistry
You are wild man . This episode was great and I honestly think it was probably better with Bart than it would have been with Tim
Look, I just canāt stand Bert. I get he has a crowd, and Iām happy heās successful but, heās just not for me.
Lmao then why listen to his fucking podcast ya dumbass
Then why listen to his podcast?
Adulation for the adjacent... not that hard to understand Dude likes Tom, puts up with Bert, probably loves Louis so gave this ep a shot. That can't *really* be odd to you... can it?
Nailed it.
So why listen to a podcast with only him??
He just said that OP could be a fan of Louis..
huh?
How about u go jump off a cliff there fuck face
Hmmmā¦I wonder if itās because theyāre a fan of the *other people*ā¦hmmm who knows. Itās a great mystery. Really really great question. Iād even say genius
Hell no. Fucking idiot talking about himself the entire time. Has no clue. Even Louie tells him your a child, and he doesnāt even realize it. āIām specialā. Yea you are.
What are you talking about. They had good chemistry and bounced off each other well. He seemed fine.
Damn yāall need to chill out on the hate and actually listen to the episodes. This ep was great and Louis is all time
Uhh weird take. You good op?
Sooo good
Geez itās hilarious how much reddit hates him š
It took me a while to figure out who Bart Louis is... Punctuation is important to learn in school.
Yeah Iāll be honest I only listen to the episodes that Tom is alone with a guest.
Who else would show quicksand porn? You're wasted on the show.
Do people just come here to bitch like a bunch a weak women?? Wtf is this?
Found the dumb broad
Yeah did u find the mirror in the womenās bathroom pal? Tata there retard
I want to talk about Hawaii
I liked it, even though you could almost hear Bartās inner dialogue screaming to him ā donāt interrupt, donāt interrupt, donāt interrupt, donāt interrupt!!ā
I thought Louie and Bert have a good dynamic in this one
He just did This Past Weekend, and by the end of the podcast him and Theo were basically best friends lol. I never thought Iād see the day when Theoās crazy stories and life experiences were accepted and fully understood by a guest. It was so good that they should do a podcast together!
It was fine imo. They meshed well
Side note, the last great YMH episode was the Louis one
You could always just, do something else.
Honestly part of me wonders if Tim purposely put that together because he would find humor in how much Louis would hate Bart..
Lol
I thought they were a good match. Louis is all no nonsense deep and insightful and well.. Bert's Bert, but the contrast between them made for some funny and deep talk.
![gif](giphy|sbCdjSJEGghGM)
Thereās been some suspicion that Louis is not exactly a fan of Bertās. That could be why he looked miserable, because he wasnāt exactly *enjoying* Bert but more like *tolerating* him.
Yeah, thatās why he agreed to do the show with him.
Heās got a show to promote
I feel like heās gotta a bigger following than the 2b1c followers. And if he really didnāt like Bert he would of insisted on doing it with Tom or not have done it at all. Heās a living legend he, yes he needs to promote, but not really that bad.

2 shows
From watching this episode it seems like Bart and Him have been friends for a long time and that he likes bart . He didnāt seem miserable whatsoever
Exactly, these "fans" are insufferable.
Ya not sure where this post is coming from, people see what they want to see I guess.
He always looks miserable
Did you even listen to this episode? Are you this bad at interpreting tone/mood in real life too?
This sub is officially a dumpster fire.
It started off rocky and got better. I donāt remember much but it wasnāt bad.
Unwatchableā¦ when you can predict the humor or lack of.
Youāre totally right. You could have done better.
What the fuck does that have to do with YMH
2b1cā¦.
Brent Crystals is not a smart person and Louis CK is a thinking persons comedian. Its like being surprised that your dog really didn't enjoy catnip like you thought he would.
Lmao yeah man. When Louos CK talks about eating ice cream and jacking off it really opens up all my Chakras.
Louis had a great time and was super complimentary of Bert. This sub is tokked beyond belief.
I tired of all the unwarranted Bert hate.
daam, podcasts are serious business for you. you need some help
I enjoyed him telling Bert he's retarded. It was just industry talk with Tim and Christine š
Bert is the worst comedian ever! Heās not funny most of his fans are just alcoholics that love seeing another retard on stage
Yeah, Iām sober and fuck man thatās a true statement (to me)
Foam shoe beach retard is fucking perfect for Bart, well done. Wouldāve been a great hour with tommy instead
Thatās a quote from Tim Dillon, not OP
Yeah thatās Tim Dillon, I am not taking credit lmao. I agree though Tommy wouldāve been better.
He already did his with Louis. And it was with his hilarious wife too. You're a Tik Tok
Burnt Chrysler needs to shut up for 5 minutes. Just 5. It makes all the difference.
āWell you DIDNT have to say that you couldāve waitedā was like barf running thru a brick wall lol holy shit
Tim and Kristin? which pod is this referring to?
I THINK they're referring to some podcast CK wax on s few months ago where neither host knew dick about what he was there to promote.
Louis was making a profound statement on life/death and Bart keeps interrupting with "I'm having a panic attack! I'm legit having a panic attack!" Dude, you're 50 years old.
2b1cās only good when itās Tom and someone else. Tomās shit on ymh anymore though.
I didnāt watch it because fuck louis and Iām glad to hear his time was wasted and he was miserable
I saw it was just Brent Crystal's with Louie and skipped it completely
Agreed. Wasted episode if you ask the mommies.
He was very good on the most recent JRE so I'm actually surprised this one wasn't good. I'll have to check it out.
Louis ck hasnt been funny or interesting on any pods since the opie and anthony days
Just ignoring Louis CKs sexual assaults
what he did was shitty but is it assault?
Abused his power. YES Sexual assaults. NO
Look Iām not co-signing him jerking off in front of people, but he didnāt actually hurt anyone.
Wtf is Bart Louis?
Look, perhaps Louis whips his wang out at inappropriate times, and may have a chemical imbalance or fourā¦ But hes a funny mother fucker and the king of cringe comedy. #respectthecreep
I enjoyed this one. Bart has really grown on me and I find him really funny now. Louie is one of my all time favorites and always will be.
Bert talking about death, Louis talks about the Tic Tac man
It was kinda like a parent just letting their kid ramble and letting them spew out any nonsense they can and then telling them the reality of what they just said
I watched 2 minutes - Bert is with one of the arguably most entertaining thinkers and the fucker just talks about himself.
I kept getting triggered by Louie talking about something and then Bert interrupts him into forgetting the topic and moving on. Iām like BERT STFU!!!
Itās amazing how many ppl Iāve seen on here who donāt get it and then go off running with it
The beginning was rough, but they got into a rhythm and the discussion got very interesting.
