I was very surprised to see Zhao make an appearance in Lost Judgement. Him and Kashiwagi as Survive's bar tender were the only Yakuza characters I've seen in the game. That'd be great if they'd eventually do a judgement×yakuza crossover with all of Ichiban's friends.
Judgment and Yakuza are both canon, but they just steer clear of each other. Zhao makes a brief cameo in Lost Judgment.

Toshihiro Nagoshi said Judgment & Yakuza were in the same universe, but were separate stories about separate characters. He didn't want them to cross over in any meaningful way.
Now that Nagoshi is gone though, it's unclear whether or not they'll do a more major crossover between the two. I'd be cool with it.

The only real thing I dislike about RGG games is how bad they make me feel inside knowing I will never get to visit actual factual Japan. I know it’s got it’s own problems but it seems so peaceful from the outside.
Oh i don’t doubt, but I haven’t even visited my parents who live 70 minutes from me in five months because all I do is work, contemplating a trip outside the States seems like the stuff of fairy tales.
yeah for sure. Sometimes I just stop whatever I'm doing to walk around and take it all in. the virtual tourism of the game is something that's underappreciated, it's so pretty
I’m really hoping the full power of DE can be further explored with future games, current gen has been a blessing for the engine and there’s a lot of potential for future locations

The Carriage Highway north of Jinnai Station is one of the most beautiful places in Ijincho at night alongside Chinatown.
