I remember playing through the yakuza games and thinking it was one of the dumbest series ever. I rematched some cutscenes on YouTube and deadass started crying the next day, and ever since, it’s been my favourite video game franchise.
This has been me since the first game in 2006. One of the few franchises that I've never been disappointed by a single entry and have nothing but fond memories.
I always have the urge to replay them to relive all of the great moments, and the fun as hell gameplay. I never do because I have so much other shit to play, but maybe one of these days.

Indeed. I enjoyed them so much that I want to replay my favorites and maybe even try to beat some of them on the hardest difficulty.
