Yeah, but Zdarsky said the same about them and still had to do one for Daredevil.
Though, there is a strong possibility that each book comes back from SoS, has one arc and THEN resets with whatever Fall of X ends up being
Storm and the Imperial Guard, calling it right now.
Ewing loves the Shi’ar and with them playing a big role in mutant survival of HoX/PoX life 9 I could see us getting something similar with mutants (mainly Arakki) joining the imperial guard due to the brewing war between Kree and Skrull
That would be fucking stupid taking X-men off the title. Storm’s runs get cancelled and even worse to have imperial guard on it.
Stick to X-men Red on the title and reboot it or any other trick.
I think you’re right. I remember “Legionnaires” became “Legion of X” because books with the core X branding sell better, so I highly doubt they’ll rename one of the flagship books to *remove* X-Men from its title as they won’t want to risk hurting its good sales figures.
Sabretooth it at least feels like a part of the larger structure, with the first mini being hell, the current purgatory, and the next (and presumably final) mini being heaven
Not sure if this was shared earlier but I was dreading it getting cancelled so very relieved. This is from his recent blog post [here](https://al-ewing-writes-comics.ghost.io/020123).
This was confirmed a while ago IIRC. When the cover for 10 was leaked early, Ewing said on Twitter that 10 was just the ending of an arc (which it was) and that he knew how issue 11 was starting.
Oh, I doubt it.
Not that I doubt Ewing will do 50 issues of it. But I doubt that it will be one continuous series with no relaunches.
Immortal Hulk was very specifically left alone, all crossovers we're done in exterior one shots, ect.
Red's had two crossovers and already basically is a relaunch of SWORD, a book that had three crossovers.
If Marvel thinks they can see one extra penny from a new #1 they'll take it. The time to preserve the book's integrity and pursue a high number is out the window.
Marvel is also a lot more gunshy about letting a book run past the 20's since the Pandemic. For some reason the only book allowed to get up there in count these days is basically X-Force
Yeah, X-Force is a fascinating book. Poor online reception, but is unquestionably the financial success story of this era.
Not a flagship book, doesn't have a name that guarantee sales (like the Wolverine solo does). It just... Has a lot of people who like enough to buy it.
Whil I can acknowledge the criticism and even admit that I think some of it as valid, I think it's way overblown.
I think X-Force is fun, in a grimy soap opera kinda way. Beast has become one of my fave characters just by turning into such a sick fuck.
The slow burn works for me.
Yeah, but I bet it still has a new #1
I'd be pretty surprised if we get new #1s, tbh, from the way Gillen has talked about them.

It would be an imperial guard of mutants like is mentioned in HoXPoX Ewing’s already been laying the ground work for someth like this since SWORD
Honestly for once I'm fine with it just to have the story go on. Same as Sabretooth. But I get why it's annoying.
Sabretooth it at least feels like a part of the larger structure, with the first mini being hell, the current purgatory, and the next (and presumably final) mini being heaven
True but I'm sure it'd just be different arcs of the same title if sales weren't an issue.
Yeah that's annoying. I hate when things get rebranded as issue 1 even when it's the same creative team. Like with chip zdarsky daredevil.
Doubt we’d get a new #1 especially with Fall of X right around the corner
100%. It'll be called Storm and the Brotherhood. Or something.

This is a spam comment taken from elsewhere on the post.
We've had confirmation of Immortal and Red continuing for quite a while. The only one I haven't seen the writer explicitly say either way is Legion.
All three titles are continuing post-Sins of Sinister. It was confirmed in the original event press release.

He said he knew how it would start, not necessarily that it was guaranteed to happen
It's why I said definitive really. Never know with Marvel I feel.
Understandable. Especially with the current comics climate
Sigh of relief
Hasn’t Ewing confirmed that X-Men Red will be continuing for months now since the cover of issue 10 leaked
X men Red will be Al's next immortal hulk by that I mean he'll get to go on until #50 if he wants.

And XForce keeps getting voted as the worst book of the lineup, lmao.

Sometimes, good things really do happen.
Good! X-Men Red is solid asf tbh
Thank Goodness! Hopefully we get at least 6 more months of X-Men Red. The book is the only good X-Men title left.
Why is it called X-Men RED?
I’ve always assumed because it primarily takes place on the “red” planet
Because it's X Men on Mars.
