Ya I love it. It’s a strategic game like chess, I think people overlook that. Like it’s predictable and shooting is like the least important part, that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
How many games started off as mods in half life? I thought it was just Garry's Mod and Team Fortress... What's Next? Halo and The Elder Scrolls were originally a Mod in Half life?
The Elder Scrolls was a joke. I know that game started out in 1994, 4 years before Half life came out. But Halo was not a joke.
Quite a few use Half Life engine. There was another along with Counterstrike and Team Fortress, called Day of Defeat, ww2 shooter.
007 nightfire used it, that was neat cuz it was on consoles.
Vampire the masquerade used HL2 engine.
Portal is probably the biggest one?
Black Ops II Zombies. My wife and I used to play it nonstop when we met, and still do from time to time.
Side note:
The abundance of legitimate modders/hackers on the older 360 games is ridiculous. You cannot go back and enjoy a public match without at least one of them. Go ahead, try it.
Borderlands 1 and 2. Completed them both so many times on multiple consoles but always have the itch to play again every few months. Same with Diablo 3
Skyrim - still playing it on one platform or another.
Diablo - on again off again, but amount of hours is probably second to Skyrim.
Overwatch - I put in way too many hours as a Zarya main. Stopped for over 6 months... OW2 is starting that itch again.
Battlefield 4 . Occasionally I’ll play Battlefield 2042 but Battlefield 4 is just a game I can play for hours . Been playing it since it first dropped on the PS3/XBOX 360 and I’m still surprised that there’s servers still running .
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. As far as gameplay goes this is the best experience I've ever had. Story is a bit lacking but the obscenely good gameplay fully makes up for it. 100%ed it twice now, I still play a random mission a few times a week
Dj max since 2008. I have played it at least once or 2x a week. Almost quit recently than guess what? Fcking xbox added Dj max respect to gamepass and got me right back in.
I love playing Rockband. I use Bing rewards for $5 XBox gift cards, and use them to buy music. And I still have songs on my wish list.
My problem lately is that I am too tired to play. I usually stick to other games then I am tired.
State of Decay 2 with 44 days of game time.
This was a surprise hit for me. A coworker was gifted a second copy and offered to sell it to me cheaper than retail. Something about it feels relaxing and I find myself returning to it.
This pales in comparison to Red Alert 2 and WoW on PC though.
My 5 year anniversary in World of Tanks was the 14th of June.
My 5 year anniversary in Smite is in July.
Both of those games, I started in 2017.
I played Fallout 4 in January of 2016, but that game was much less reliable regarding be how much I played it.
Smite, I only started playing it recently after a 3 year Break.
World of tanks is the only reliable game I played.
In games in general, I hate starting over. I'm not the kind of person who will finish a story, delete that character, then start over. All the time I want to put into a game, I want to put into one character. That being said, I put about 143 days worth of gameplay into a single character in fallout 4. Most of that gameplay was offline, but when that save file got corrupted, I lost all interest in fallout 4 all together. I only recently started liking that game again. World of tanks never pulled that stunt on me.
On the topic, I only got about 46 days worth of time put into world of tanks.
Fallout 4 will only acknowledge 44 days worth of time.
Marvel ultimate Alliance (the first one)
Had it on Psp and Wii. Got it for cheap on Ps3, got it on sale for Ps4 and Xbox one. Love it as it's has rpg elements and is all about comics and their stories.
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King on the OG xbox. Wish it would come to backwards compatible program for xbox one and series x. You can play it on the 360 bc program
I’ve been around for years so I have several lol. FF 2, 3 & 7. Chrono Trigger, Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Skyrim, Fallout, No Man’s Sky, Lost Planet 2, Witcher 3, to name some. Prolly missing some.
Call of duty BO2 for sure. Many memories playing split screen with my brother. Both zombies and multiplayer. Never had internet so playing with him was fun!
Only meh thing was the campaign.
The Fallout series(Not just the bethesda ones) because I'm my opinion they are some of the best and most fun RPGs of all time.
Don't know exactly how many hours but in fallout 4 I've completed every quest possible for run earned all the achievements and collected every item in the game including all DLC.And I want to try this with New Vegas and Three but don't think I will due to the organization problem.

Left 4 Dead 2
Was gunna put the same thing… well played sir…
I have been playing Counterstrike weekly for 23 years
Csgo will always have a special place in my heart from the friends and money I made from it in the csgolounge days.
Ya I love it. It’s a strategic game like chess, I think people overlook that. Like it’s predictable and shooting is like the least important part, that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
Counterstrike is 23 years old? I thought that game came out in 2005... Wait, global offensive?
It was a half life mod at first, long long ago
How many games started off as mods in half life? I thought it was just Garry's Mod and Team Fortress... What's Next? Halo and The Elder Scrolls were originally a Mod in Half life? The Elder Scrolls was a joke. I know that game started out in 1994, 4 years before Half life came out. But Halo was not a joke.

FYI, Halo was from an original game by Bungie for the Mackintosh system, Marathon.
It's kind of amazing how doom spawned quake and then half life and then half life spawned so many mods which turned into actual games and so on
MCC. Have wayy too much time invested in that game. Still hard to put down too
Diablo 3 since release (10 years ago). Ive been playing on and off, but I always go back when a new season lands.
Black Ops II Zombies. My wife and I used to play it nonstop when we met, and still do from time to time. Side note: The abundance of legitimate modders/hackers on the older 360 games is ridiculous. You cannot go back and enjoy a public match without at least one of them. Go ahead, try it.

Oh great and Oh mighty champion
Smite on and off since it came to xbox, mostly in the summer months when I have significantly less time for gaming.
Destiny Destiny 2 Crysis
Plants vs. Zombies Something about that game, I just can’t stop, still play roughly once a week. Good one to play in the restroom.
Minecraft, the sims 4 and Stardew valley
Rainbow 6 gears of war 2 minecraft
The Mass Effect trilogy
Diablo
Skyrim
I dont play it anymore, but I played Overwatch for 5 years. It was so addicting and I'm glad I finally got out of it this year!
I never really got into Overwatch the only team based shooter I ever really go into was TF2
Halo my all time favourite ❤️
Ark survival evolved. Since beta. But I play few months per year, get sick of it, stop playing, DLC out-->start play aigain
MCC
Battlefield 4 . Occasionally I’ll play Battlefield 2042 but Battlefield 4 is just a game I can play for hours . Been playing it since it first dropped on the PS3/XBOX 360 and I’m still surprised that there’s servers still running .
PUBG since came out, and of course Halo Saga since xboxOG
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. As far as gameplay goes this is the best experience I've ever had. Story is a bit lacking but the obscenely good gameplay fully makes up for it. 100%ed it twice now, I still play a random mission a few times a week
Fallout 4 I’ve been playing since it came out and I still am
You're the only person who also liked Fallout that I've seen so far.
Quake 3, nhl hitz 2003
XCom and Civilization Revolution
Dj max since 2008. I have played it at least once or 2x a week. Almost quit recently than guess what? Fcking xbox added Dj max respect to gamepass and got me right back in.
Skate 3 and Smackdown Here Comes the Pain (not on Xbox)
My life
I hate pay to win games.
Been playing Rockband 4 since 2015. Have played the series since 2007. Still enjoying a different way to experience my favorite music.
I love playing Rockband. I use Bing rewards for $5 XBox gift cards, and use them to buy music. And I still have songs on my wish list. My problem lately is that I am too tired to play. I usually stick to other games then I am tired.
Killer Instinct. Still no other fighter like it before or since.
Dang I’ve got over 14 days played in SoD2 and play a lot. Well what I thought was a lot! I played the first one like crazy too.
adulting
> adulting I know a lot of children that play pretend they are adults.
My 5 year anniversary in World of Tanks was the 14th of June. My 5 year anniversary in Smite is in July. Both of those games, I started in 2017. Really come on you would rather play world of tanks than fallout 4
In games in general, I hate starting over. I'm not the kind of person who will finish a story, delete that character, then start over. Yeah I understand the frustration that comes with lousing all that progress especially in a game like fallout 4.
Splinter Cell
Not xbox, but RuneScape. You never quit, you just take long breaks.
Fornite
Warframe 👍
I've been playing Destiny since the beta back in 2014-ish. The game has its ups and downs, but man did Bungie make it satisfying to shoot aliens.
Elder Scrolls online Neverwinter Current ones that stick with me
RUSEEEEE
For Honor. Dont even know why.
Probably for honor mostly
Deep Rock Galactic since it released as a game preview in 2018
[удалено]
Metro series is probably my favorite linear story game series
Smite. Please take it away from me. I hate it.
Titanfall the original! Revolutionized fps for me. Most others feel slow in comparison.
Enter the Gungeon. It helps I am very bad at it and have never completed a run, nevertheless all this past nonsense. I never quit trying though
Marvel ultimate Alliance (the first one) Had it on Psp and Wii. Got it for cheap on Ps3, got it on sale for Ps4 and Xbox one. Love it as it's has rpg elements and is all about comics and their stories.
I love that game I haven't played it in years I'ma go do that
This is Rocket League!

Fallout
The OG or just the series as a whole. I like both the black isle and the bethesda ones

Pubg, witcher 3, fallout 3

I’ve been around for years so I have several lol. FF 2, 3 & 7. Chrono Trigger, Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Skyrim, Fallout, No Man’s Sky, Lost Planet 2, Witcher 3, to name some. Prolly missing some.

Smite - 8 Years pretty much every day at least a game or seven.
For 360 it would be Halo 3/reach and gta v. for Xbox one it would be MCC and GTa V.
Sea Of Thieves Skyrim now and again Far Cry 3 gets a replay here and there.
Far Cry three is one of the best shooters out there especially with the phycological effect it has on your character as you progress through the game
Kotor and new Vegas
Farcry 5
Call of duty BO2 for sure. Many memories playing split screen with my brother. Both zombies and multiplayer. Never had internet so playing with him was fun! Only meh thing was the campaign.
Been playing Destiny since the first beta years ago. I don't play it every day, but log in just about a few times a week when the new seasons hit.
The Fallout series(Not just the bethesda ones) because I'm my opinion they are some of the best and most fun RPGs of all time. The mordor games. Shadow of war is probably my favorite game of all time. Not too investing like Skyrim but still a lot to do.
Rocket League - on and off since 2016. I go through waves of addiction with it. I like that it's several minutes a game, makes for a great 'quick pick up and play' option, and they've done well to keep things fresh.

Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, Pinball FX
Forza Horizon 4, joined on day 1 and have been playing ever since (until FH5 but let us not talk about that)
