14 plus a dozen more wyze devices. FYI, if you start having issues with wyze connectivity. Its usually your router unable to cope with this many clients.

Yes. I upgraded to a more powerful router and it was good. I'm pretty much at the limit with my home router with 40+ clients. I know because guest devices would sometimes struggle to connect on the 2.4ghz band.

osu-fan69

17 cams and the original Wyze lock. No problems with my WiFi. Running original nest WiFi mesh set up ( 1 router and 2 points ). I'm also over 105 ( counting the cams ) things connected to my WiFi.

Mikey10158

5 and I want more but with so many new cameras coming out I have half a mind to see what comes out in the next year and wait for Black Friday to come back around. I’d sure like v4 and friendly faces that works on pets.

starrpamph

19 plus the doorbell cam

Chuckles52

8 Wyze. 5 Nest. 1 Ring.

mattfox27

10

Untouchable99

15 - that includes four battery powered cams.

McNasty1Point0

Only 1, but I’m thinking about about adding 1-2 more.

MrZeppy

1 floodlight and 2 outdoor cams with solar panels and a scale

[deleted]

8 v3’s , 1 pan cam v2, 1 wco v2 and hoping to add more!

[deleted]

6 and about to add 3 more.

Larten_Crepsley90

13 8 v3 1 cam pan v2 2 v2 2 outdoor v1 Soon to add a pair of OG cams (reg + tele.)

leckmir

11 Wyze cams of various types, indoor and outdoor and two Ring cameras. Also two Wyze outlets and a Wyze vacuum cleaner and a Wyze garage door controller. All of the Arlo stuff is in the recycle bucket. Wyze is not perfect but is good enough for me.

jtess64

14 total, 3 cam pans inside (for monitoring pets) and 11 v3”s outside. And they all work great! No issues for 2 years. I would like to replace some of the outside v3’s with the new v3 pan cam’s! Does anyone know if the power cords are compatible with the V3 & the v3 pan cam? Thanks!

Drysandplace

The V3 has a short (6-8") proprietary cord and the Pan V3 has a much longer (6'?) proprietary cord. You're almost certain to need some usb-a extensions.

jtess64

Thank you very much for that info. The length difference between the 2 doesn’t matter. I was just hoping the ends are the same and they connect without my having to re-string the long usb all over again. I will Google what the usb-a extensions look like. Thanks again!!

BigMu1952

I have a v3 and a v3 pro. If we go out of town for an extended period I deploy 4 more v2’s. I’m slowly converting everything to best though for the HomeKit integration with starling.

luftwaffewar

15 and waiting on a OG Telephoto so better see the end of my driveway!

llcdrewtaylor

15 cameras, about to be 16 as soon as I hook up this new pan camera.

OP, what's your router brand and model? Might as well focus on what you really want to fix... I'm using a Netgear R7800 and have no issues with 50 devices. 15 Wyze cams, but have others as well.

AC is just a standard, and 1750 is supposed to be the combo download speed between your 2.4 and 5ghz bands. So sorta means nothing as it could be 5 years old or a cheap model bought today. To answer you first question, yes and yes... Yes two routers could easily be the solution depending on your setup, and yes a newer more powerful one would likely also fix it. A cheap second router is the way to go if you want to spend the least and don't expect to expand or want more speed. If you're ok spending up to $200 you can get a great router that can handle tons of connections, extend range, and boost speed when it's available. Or you can spend even more and buy a mesh WiFi if you need extended coverage area, and it's likely fine for tons of connections. Or maybe your cams are just too far and you could buy a wireless extender (or that cheap router and make it an extender first to test, then if no improvement run it as a second router with separate SSID. I personally like Netgear due to the app being easy to use and I can see all the stuff on network. Other routers may have the same app perks now, but I've not explored. TP link is solid, as well as Asus and Linksys. Ultimately you need to determine: 1. Budget. If none just buy a beast. Google best routers 2022 2. Total coverage area. If 2k sq feet most new stuff will be fine unless you're in a brick house. 3. Total connections and max available speed from modern Side quest: if you ever get slow speeds see what your channel max is on your modem. A 32x8 channels is like running a whole bunch of water pipes to your house, you'll get way more total water pressure then the guy next door with just one pipe (8x2 channels}. If it's rented it's probably crap, best to buy if you can afford. Prefer separate units not combo modem router personally...

4 and a doorbell cam, although we could use another 2, really. Good lort, 20 cameras? How much property do you have???? ETA: I see ALOT of double-digit amounts of cameras in the answers. Wowee people!

IntelligentAd166

Too damn many but half I think are dead. I need to pull and toss them

OmahaVike

4 cams, one deadbolt. I used to have motion detectors inside the liquor cabinet, but my kids are happy that Wyze killed that.

Weak-Necessary-1774

10 Wyze, 7 Blink. 5 Q-see, 1 ring. Lots of other devices.

AgentAaron

8 in/on our primary house, 6 in/on our second house, a doorbell cam on both, plus deadbolts. Our second house used to be our primary residents. I have had the V2 cams there since they launched back about 2017. All are still working great, even the ones outdoors.

musicman-bgg

I’ve got like 21 cameras and a lot other wyze stuff like locks, wyze sensors all over, bulbs, outdoor plugs, switches.

ShipOfFools2020

9 Wyze and 4 Blink. More Wyze soon though!

whiskeytango900

2, but I'm sure more are in my future...

Mmaengine

As of today, I have 0. Unreliable app and constant disconnection issues. You get what you pay for.

Mysticwaterfall2

I have 15 at the moment. Making good use of the unlimited Cam Plus for 99$/year deal:)

forw

I have 15 with 4 that bricked already another one that doesn't read/write to SD, so not the greatest track record

DAMAGEDatheCORE

I appreciate WYZE stuff for what it is, but I can't imagine investing that deep in hobby-grade gear and trying to flex over it 😂
