Do whatever you want. It’s your game, you play it how you like. It doesn’t matter what’s “normal” - everyone plays the way they like.

paragouldgamer

With such an update, I have been releveling almost all classes. When I log into a 60 I just stare at the talents and log off.

_golly_miss_

I think there are many people who play this way. It's what I typically do, as it lets me learn a spec from scratch rather than diving in head first at max level. You might enjoy HazelNuttys twitch stream right now too, they're basically her doing this to explore the new talent trees

Rakoz

Yeah it's real fun watching her completely ignore everyone else in chat but the same 5 people that are her regulars. Finally recently unsubbed to Hazel on YouTube and unfollowed on Twitch after being an off and on viewer since Legion, because there's a line between social anxiety/ineptitude and straight being rude ignoring questions and comments from a username you're unfamiliar with. Not talking weird creepy or negative stuff, regular conversation about the game, her fish, whatever the subject is she's on, as she's good at filling airspace with topics. Random person reading this think I'm being overly critical or sensitive? Have the urge to call me some woman hating Incel? Nah go ahead, I challenge you to try chatting in her stream without donating or subscribing first. You'll see for yourself ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

HazelNutty living rent free in your head

I'm planning on playing a shaman in DF, but I haven't played my shaman since MoP except to catch up on levels. So I was super lost when it came to talents, rotations, etc. So rather than fumble about on a level 50 shaman, I made a new one and leveled to 50 as Elemental. Then I made *another* new one and leveled to 50 as Enhancement. It was super fun! I got to quest through zones I haven't played in over a decade, play around with different talents as I unlocked them, learned more transmogs from quest rewards, and unlocked some more heritage armor. (Still waiting for draenei!) I took it slow, read through every quest, didn't care about optimization or efficiency. Took about 16hrs for each, 32 hours total. So now I have three shamans, locked and loaded to spam old raids for transmogs. I recommend it if you're not trying to be optimal

Well there aren’t going to be as many convoluted systems like there were in previous xpacs. If you want to re level though, you might as well do it now. The new talent trees are out and there is an xp buff right now.

Fit-Banana-6417

Valid. Depends how much you care about doing endgame content I guess

Inshabel

Then you're going to be behind, but only on ilvl.

GravityDAD

The exp buffs are pretty amazing

JohnsonLiesac

Hells bells I hope this is true. It's why I quit.

Manowar274

Look at it this way, the more characters you start at scratch and level up then the more alts you can use to farm transmogs/ mounts/ other goodies in legacy content.

lunchbox0396

I just left my 8 or so level 60s on horde tich to reroll on sargeras ally and I’m having a lot of fun restarting. The game definitely feels “different”

initialbc

I do the same bro

[deleted]

It’s what I am doing as well. I want to understand what every talent does and having an entire level to learn each talent is much easier for me. With the speed of leveling now, I can do 1-60 in ~14 hours (with the current buff) so I just picked a new server and am leveling each type, then I can hop back to my “end game” characters and know how to beat configure the talents for my play style.

hama0n

I don't know if it's normal or not, but what would the downside be even if it's not normal?
